Comment: My family has been having trouble with a roof installed by another company and so weve been seeking solutions to the problem. I found this company just through Google search and gave them a call. I explained the situation we were in and the details of what was done to this point and was given very honest and useful feedback about the products installed and suggestions on how to get things resolved. The time, concern, and input provided was given without rush or disregard for our situation, even when it became obvious that we wouldnt be able to use their services for this case. Comment: I have never left a review anywhere before. But this story has to be told. On December 28th, we realized after over a week of hard rain and wind here in N. California my wife and I woke up to water leaking into our home.. That day was the only day with a break from the rain. We knew a LOT more rain was coming and we were in big trouble. I went up on my roof and discovered a gap in my roof with no shingles and down to the wood about 4 foot long by 3 foot wide. Likely a lot of people had the same problem. My wife got on the phone and began calling any roof related business that could fix a roof right away. She called over 10 different business touting fast service and such. Not one business returned her calls. I even had pictures of the damage. One she called however, Westland Inspections and Repairs called back within 10 minutes!! Owner Eric Westland was on the line. My wife sent him the pictures and prayed he could get to us that day. Eric said he was busy with a lot of calls but he had a cancellation and would try to work us in that afternoon. His price was amazing as well!! Eric kept his promise and came out that afternoon ready for action. I expected getting someone that fast meant we got someone that would be sub par. I was amazed that he was knowledgeable, professional and knew exactly what to do. He got started and fixed the problem with new shingles in place within 2 hours! We were ready to face the next storm coming for consecutive weeks. My wife called him our hero. I felt his service was worth more than he quoted and gave him more. He was reluctant to take the extra money, but I insisted. So bottom line, Eric is our hero and we highly recommend his business. If you want fair, quality work from a person that cares about you and your family, please give Westland Inspections and Repairs based in Lodi a call if you want a fast square deal on roof repair. Comment: Reached out via email Thursday a little after noon, needed someone to come out and look at a leak in the roof. Eric emailed me right away that he’d give me a call. He let me know he would try to squeeze me in the next day and to text him some pictures if I had any. He had a cancellation and squeezed me in. He took pictures and a video while on the roof so it would be easier to understand when going over our problem. Gave suggestions on other maintenance things that needed to take place before those areas become a problem. It ended up being an issue from the poor handling during solar panel installation, so I have not used his services yet. Initially there was going to be a fee for the inspection, Eric waived it! I really appreciated him waiving the fee, his time and help in figuring out the issue. To me him showing some compassion in waiving the fee meant a whole lot. He wasn’t greedy! I most definitely will be reaching back out to him for future services.

He sealed all the rake/hip intersections with sealant that needed it. He also re-sealed several of my pipe jacks that needed it. Comment: Wow. Eric exceeded our expectations and was amazing to work with throughout the whole process. From the quote, all the way to questions regarding the inspection report. Awesome communication, knowledgeable and very detailed! With everything going on, we dreaded having to deal with an inspection (for our 1 year home warranty) and were about to call it off. Originally, we had about 2-3 things on our list that we wanted the builder to repair. Thank God we contacted Eric. He and his teammate found things we wouldnt have even seen and Im sure wouldve costs us thousands to have repaired. He offered to fix it, but said it was something I could do myself and save a couple hundred dollars. He gave me some materials and told me where I could buy more if needed. He also showed me how to fix the problem. He walked around the roof with me and pointed out other problem areas. He gave me maintenance pointers and suggested things to have done in a couple years when a new roof may be necessary. As someone else said in a different review, dont waste your time. Comment: We are in the process of purchasing a home. Our roof inspection identified potential problems with the roof and suggested we contact someone with greater expertise. We tried several roofing contractors but since it was a Saturday and raining heavily in our area we weren’t surprised when no one answered or returned our calls. Then we called Eric.Not only did he answer the phone on a Saturday evening but he took the time to review our report and give us his expert opinion. When we were scheduling a further inspection with Eric for the following week, his primary concern was that we get the most for our dollar and so rather than taking our money and doing another roof inspection, he recommended we contact a framing contractor. He went so far as to search out one and provide us with the contact information. Eric’s level of professionalism and care and consideration for the customer that is unmatched.The inspection company made many recommendations for repair to the roof (in addition to their findings). It is without any doubt that we will be hiring Eric to complete those recommended repairs and he has quoted us a price that is half of what the inspection company quoted. Comment: I was very impressed with Eric Westland. I had called many roof repair companies and none of them returned my calls. Eric actually answered the phone when I called and came the same day and didnt charge me a penny. We will definitely be using his services to repair our roof.
