Comment: My 23 y/o roof sprung a minor leak during Atmospheric River number one. I found Top Tier on Yelp and David was one of 3 bids I got. David had the most competitive bid and was the most responsive. He was busy with all the rain, but fit me into his schedule and actively communicated throughout the entire project. The roof looks great, and was done on time.I highly recommend Top Tier Roofing.

Comment: After receiving re-roofing quotes from a few contractors we decided to use the services provided by Top Tier Roofing.From his initial visit till the job was completed David was enthusiastic, professional, forthcoming, very responsive, responsible, punctual and extremely patient.David went into great details about the material, colors and the entire process. He went back and forth with the supplier to get all our questions answered. His crew took great care of our plants during and after the tear down of the roof and cleaned up really well.David was upfront about costs and there were no hidden charges. He was very cooperative and took the time get us several samples.David has an eye for detail and made great suggestions besides the re-roof like he and his crew offered to paint the stucco, they painted vents to match the roof, helped us install spikes so birds don’t nest, covered the ends of the seam so bees and hornets don’t nest, helped correct our name on the inspection receipt and patiently waited and answered all the questions the city inspector had.For anyone looking to re-roof, I would highly recommend David and Top Tier Roofing.

Comment: Very responsive, reasonably priced (*not the cheapest but the best value for quality and certifications), caring, small business that does high quality work. They brought multiple samples for us for color selection, applied for permits, and completely installed the roof and gutter system in record time. The entire project took a few weeks from our first call to top tier roofing to final inspection while other companies were 3+ months out. You are not dealing with a large company. Ive called David (the owner) and talked to him on the phone several times for other projects. We had rain on the forecast during the project but they made sure everything was sealed before the rain. Then came the next day and finished the project. Will work with them again for our roofing needs.

Comment: David and Top Tier, came to me by way of referral and my friend actually sent me two numbers to call. I didnt even bother calling the other person. This job was actually for my parents house, so I really wanted to make sure they were getting both a good deal and good work. After we met with David, I felt right away he was very trustworthy and experienced. He was very patient and knowledgeable about the current products available and more importantly for what we needed. Once they started, they were very efficient and finished the job quickly. Both my parents and I were very satisfied. Comment: Top Tier Roofing just replaced my roof, gutters, and added 4 sun tunnels. I spoke to 5 different contractors certified to install Certainteed shingles. I went with Top Tier Roofing because David was the most engaged, responsive, and flexible with pricing. He spent a great deal of time discussing all of our needs (including referring us to a great solar company) before sending us a quote. David was great at communicating before, during, and after the installation. The work actually started earlier than scheduled and finished within the estimated timeline. They showed up on time each day and cleaned up after. The most important thing to me was that David addressed any problems that came up promptly and followed up after the resolution. Our roof and gutters look amazing. I would highly recommend Top Tier Roofing if you need a roof replacement!

Comment: During recent rain storms I discovered a leak in my roof and realized I needed to either repair or replace it. After doing a lot of research and speaking to a few different businesses I came across Top Tier Roofing and what really got my attention is the fact that every single review was positive with a 5 star rating. Since you dont see this often I got curious and Im here to say that every star was more than deserved. David from Top Tier came out and inspected the roof. He showed me photos of all the issues and we agreed that given the roof condition, my best course was to replace it. He took his time to review all the options and provide very valuable advice on which roof materials would be most cost effective and longer lasting. Within a couple of hours I had a complete quote which was very reasonably priced. He then scheduled a new roof installation for February.In January when there was another week of rain on the forecast, he proactively called and came out to patch all the problem areas to make sure that I dont experience any additional leaks and did so at no cost. When the day came, he explained that the installation will take three days, informed me of what time the work would begin and end each day, and explained that he would check in daily to make sure everything is going according to plan. His crew showed up on the day we agreed at the exact time I was promised. They took exactly 3 days to complete the install and David was there every day as he said he would be. Though-out the process he kept me well informed which was extremely refreshing. On day 4 he came back to meet the inspector and handed my my permit. Top Tier made it painless, seamless, and provided truly top notch customer service. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing roof installation or repair. 10 stars!

Comment: I was looking for a roofing contractor to remove and re-install my roof, gutters and downspouts.I found David and TopTier roofing through reviews from yelp and consulted him for a quote. His quote was competitive and transparent. He helped explain and demystify every choice with the material, vent type et all. He was very clear with the pricing the installation dates and infact tried and preponed the installation by a couple of days to accommodate our move-in schedule.The guys thats did the installation were professional and pros and things progressed at break-neck pace and the project completed in time.We hit a few bumps with the permit process and the inspection but David went well above and beyond to get those sorted out and get the permit finaled. He literally waited for 5 hours in front of the house for the inspector to arrive just to make sure that he doesnt miss them and is available to sort it out. That exudes professionalism and I was thoroughly impressed.I would highly recommend David and Top Tier roofing .

We used the contact us form on the Top Tier Roofing website and received a phone call and email within 24 hours to schedule a roof inspection. Dave performed the roof inspection and spent time explaining the findings, including showing us photos and answering all of our questions in detail. We were emailed the bid in a timely manner and Dave followed up with a phone call and in-person visit to sign paperwork. Comment: Had our roof replaced last summer and just now posted a review because, during the last storm, I realized it doesnt rain in my bathroom anymore! These guys were great! Custom house with a complicated roof situation - lots of weird angles and skylights. David was awesome in helping us to discuss and understand our options then providing thorough, explicit documentation. His crew was great - clean, professional and considerate.I did a lot of research and comparison shopping to find this company - they didnt disappoint. No hidden costs, and work he did was amazing. Along with new roof we got sun-tunnels installed as well. Everything was done very professionally and on time. I needed photos for the insurance company and forgot to ask for them earlier when the work was done, he went out of his way to drop by and take photos as well. Highly recommend!!

Comment: Our 60 year old single story home was in dire need of roof and gutter repair. We solicited bids from four contractors: three small businesses and one general contractor. The three small business contractors’ bids were quite close in price and estimated schedule. The general contractor’s bid was 50% higher in price and they estimated that the job could take up to two weeks to complete.We selected the bid from Top Tier based on how well David communicated. He spent the time to patiently listen to our questions and answer them. The bid from Top Tier was the most detailed with price options for various grades of shingles and had the gutter replacement listed separately. We had thought that our old patio cover would have to be removed in order to replace the gutters. David said that his crew could work around the patio cover. David estimated that the job could be completed in four days, including repair of dry rot and termite damage. The schedule was important to us because we needed to board our dogs for the duration of the job.David was able to start the job about a week after we signed the contract. The demolition crew showed up at 11 AM on a Monday. The demolition crew was particularly impressive. In less than eight hours they trimmed some overhanging tree limbs, removed two layers of old shingles and thousands of nails, removed the old gutters, and meticulously cleaned up all of the debris that had fallen into the yard and into the garage, leaving them significantly cleaner than before they arrived. All of the construction material was delivered the next day. All of the dry rot repair, new shingles, new sheet metal flashing and vent covers, and new gutters and downspouts were completed by 3 PM on Thursday. David thus beat his estimate by about a half of a day. David stopped by each day to inspect the progress and to ask if we had any concerns. It was a comfort to know we could have contacted David via his cell phone at any time if there had been any issue. As a bonus, David installed flashing between the new gutter and our old patio cover. As another bonus, David supplied and installed a spark arrestor/cover on our fireplace chimney.How does one rate a contractor who exceeds one’s most optimistic expectations? He was patient with us while we worked to have our solar panels removed. Once we secured the removal date, he worked with us on setting the install date. He and his crew were on time, respectful and thorough throughout the entire process. Comment: I contacted several roofing companies to get a quote for replacing our roof. My husband and I met with David, who is a genuinely nice person and extremely knowledgeable in his field. He took the time to inspect our roof and went over any questions that we had. In his quote, he provided several pricing dependent on the type of materials. His pricing was extremely fair and he was always in contact with us. Another reason we chose his company is because David is a very honest businessperson and he did not upsell us anything. During the roof installation, we either saw or spoke with him everyday. He also did some extra things for us without any charges. Comment: I looked up one day to see a cracked skylight. Not a good thing during this smoky time and with the rainy season on its way (hopefully). Reached out to a few companies for quotes, and decided to go with David at Top Tier Roofing. He gave me several options in his proposal, which I greatly appreciated. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, fully explaining the process and reasoning behind his suggestions, with pictures from my roof to show me what hes talking about. He and his crew came out to get the work done very quickly and efficiently. I have a concrete tile roof, and they even took the time to make sure to replace any visible tiles with good ones from elsewhere on the roof so that the roof still looks great (30 year old tile colors are impossible to match exactly) and any tiles that arent an exact match arent visible from ground level. The skylight and any cracked/damaged tiles have been replaced, the gutters cleaned and repaired and everything was cleaned up when they were done like theyd never even been here. Im so pleased with their work and will keep them in mind for recommendations and future work.

Comment: We work with insurance companies, providing emergency services. We were called upon to do a tree removal after a tree had fallen on a house. After cleaning up, we were able to see the damage that was caused to the roof and gutters. Since we do not do roof repairs, we called a couple of roofing companies, and only Top Tier Roofing responded, and was able to come out right away. They were able to provide an estimate within a couple days, and after getting the insurance approval, they were able to start a few days later.They were easy to work with, and had great communication. I will use this company again, and I would recommend them for other jobs I may come across.
