Comment: I received bids from several contractors and this company seemed to have the best reviews (check Google and Yelp) and the most satisfied customers. I agreed to the proposal and they were able to start within a week. This is very different from other contractors who said I would have to wait several months. The work crew that came out was extremely good. They cleaned up every day and the roof and trim looks absolutely beautiful. There was a lot of extensive wood damage so we did need to amend the contract for a higher price. As with any construction project, always make sure you have a contingency. In the end, Im very happy with how it turned out and many neighbors have asked for a recommendation. I would definitely use them again.

Comment: RoofMasters were on time and willing to accommodate my questions and concerns during a re-roof in a senior community. The documentation they provided to prepare me for the project gave excellent tips on what to do to protect my property and prepare me for what to expect. During their work they uncovered some rotting beams and promptly removed them. I was grateful for their proactively, possibly averting damage from structure failure during a future storm. When the workmen left, every scrap from their work was picked up and taken away. I especially appreciated having Rigo available by phone anytime I needed to ask a question. When the work was completed, I was pleasantly surprised that Jhonny M came by, introduced himself at my front door, and inquired about my experience and opinion of their work. I gladly give everyone who worked on my roof an A+. Customer service with RoofMasters is excellent and the quality of the work is top notch. I recommend them highly based on my personal experience.

Rigo came out to do our estimate and it was better than most of the rest we got. They were patient with us while we gathered info and got estimates from multiple companies, and were able to work around our schedule for the best install time. Karinna was our project coordinator and was there every step of the way, sending helpful emails, letting us know what to expect, answering our questions and keeping us updated. And once it came time for the actual install, they did quick, great work. Done with our whole roof in 2 days, from tear-down and disposal to cleanup. Highly recommended!

Why did I finally choose The Roof Master Company? The reason was that the Project Manager, Rigo Oceguera was friendly, knowledgeable, and happily explained and answered all my questions. In addition, he was honest and straightforward. Because of his fair estimated price, friendliness, and honesty, I decided to go with The Roof Master Company to replace the new roof for my house.Roger, who was the team leader working at the site. The whole team worked diligently hard and carefully to get the roof done in no time. It took them two and a half days to replace the 2,700 sq. ft. new roof. This was truly amazing. They thoroughly cleaned the site every day after they were done working on the roof. I did have some issues with some things that the workers missed and had to do a lot of following up to get things completed correctly. Also the crew always seemed to be in a rush to leave at the end of the day and twice left my hoses running after they cleaned up. Explained all of the options, handled the permit with the city, was a painless experience on my part. After the work was complete, it looked awesome. There was 1 section where some tar? got onto my fascia board. I let them done after they were done and gone and they sent someone who cleaned it up next day. Comment: We had our entire roof replaced early April and couldnt be happier with the results. Rigo came out to provide the inspection and got me the quote quickly. I was very particular with what I wanted done and had alot of questions on their process, materials and warranties that were offered. He always made me feel valued and most importantly, ensured I was happy and comfortable with everything. The Roof replacement took a little over a week, but it did not matter as I wanted it to be done right. The guys were on schedule and worked really hard to get it done, even on the weekends. They even took over 90 pictures during the process to show me! They were transparent with their work, and I can tell they were very particular with the process, making sure every step was done right, with no shortcuts. And anytime I had a question or wanted something done, Rigo would always do his best to accommodate it. They were very prompt to inspect our roof and give us an estimate after our last rain when we had several new leaks show up.Rigo, their project manager, explained what needed to be done, and The Roof Masters gave us the lowest bid of all the companies that looked at our house.Removal of the old roof only took a day, where they found lots of rotting roof sheeting, joist ends, and facia. Comment: I requested roof quotes from Yelp, HomeAdvisor, and BBB. 5 companies reached out to schedule times to meet. 3 called me and used google maps to give me a quote (you can’t develop a relationship with a customer over the phone, I am old school in that to foster a relationship with a customer you need to have that contact with a customer. I know we are in a time that contact is not something that is encouraged, but being outside, with masks and staying 6 feet away, you can still develop that relationship), 1 never called me back.Only ONE company actually made the effort to come to my home, fly a drone over my home for custom photos and that Rigo from Roof Masters. Rigo was so patient as I asked all my questions, believe me there was a lot. He stepped me through what the process would be and sent me a quote that evening. I needed to have my solar company out to take down the solar panels before they could start on the roof, I got the date from the solar company to come out and take down the panels and Rigo was able to start the next day. Everything just sort of fell into place.Everyone in the office that I had communication with from Claudia to Gaby were just so nice and accommodating, they worked around my schedule instead of the other way around. I don’t believe I ever had to call, they were in constant contact with me.On the start date Rene the Forman and his crew showed up, they worked fast and efficiently, they were always considerate of the other people in my cul-de-sac with their vehicles, they even worked on Sunday. If I had any questions Rene always took a moment to answer any questions I had or my husband had, my husband likes to get involved and they were patient while he asked his questions. They cleaned up every day before they left the house, picking up nails, pieces of old roof tiles, debris from the front, side and back yard. They left the way they found the yard each day they came.I just can’t say enough how pleasant this experience was, I was so nervous about replacing my roof, I was nervous because I didn’t know anything about the process or what to expect. But Roof Masters took my hand and walked me through everything, slowly, patiently and took care of us.When the job was done the crew took great pains to make sure nails or any metal objects were picked up by taking a magnet on a stick around the yard, we have four little fur babies and they took great care that they would be ok after the job was done.If you are replacing your roof and want a company that will walk you through the whole process you will want to go with Roof Masters, ask for Rigo and you will not go wrong and you will end up with a beautiful roof at a competitive price when all is said and done.

Comment: My wife and I recently purchased a home built in 1990 with a concrete tile roof that had never been updated, which meant that it was at / past its end-of-life. We reached out to few roofing companies for estimates and ultimately went with on the Roof Masters for a few reasons:- The price was only sort-of-matched by one other company. As a bonus, they offer a longer lasting synthetic underlay material for no extra charge compared to other companies we talked to. Weird to think about how our roof will probably outlast me.- Unlike another roofing company we talked to, they didnt require us to get our roof washed first, which we were concerned about due to the leaking potential. On top of that, the Roof Masters offered roof cleaning services for half the price of other companies we talked to.- They were able to start immediately, which was important to us since the end of the year can be rainy. One company we talked to wouldnt have been able to start until November and another, some time next year.Our project foreman Pedro and his team got started on a lift-and-lay early Monday morning and were done by Saturday -- and probably wouldve been finished by Friday were it not for some of the rain that occurred the past week. In addition to the lift-and-lay, they also replaced rotted fascia, installed bird stop, and power washed the roof (and some other fixes on top of that as well). We were impressed by and grateful for the teams work ethic, as they sometimes stayed later in the day than expected.Doug Slay, our project manager, called to check in near the end of the project to see if we had any questions, and was able to answer all of them to our satisfaction. He also has a pretty cool first name.While there were a couple communication snafus upfront before the work had begun, I know people can get busy and throughout the whole house buying process and figuring out which service providers to go with I often had to follow up with other companies, so I wont knock them for that. Were thankful that they were able to get the work done so quickly, so soon, and get our roof looking nice and red again.Also, apologies to our neighbors who had to deal with roofing sounds all day for a week. What a way to make a first impression. :)

I saw Roofmasters on Yelp and was impressed with the reviews so I submitted a bid request. Rigo was fast to respond and made arrangements to visit. Rigo gave a detailed inspection and report. He even gave me helpful info about wood and termite risks on my fence! He was so knowledgeable and personable and explained everything thoroughly. So we booked the job. We got a cash and a military discount which was awesome since we basically had to have our whole roof redone and it was costly (but very reasonable). The work was started pretty much right after we paid our deposit. We’re very happy with the work. They even sent us a multitude of before and after photos which we didn’t even ask for but we are so happy they sent them. It really helped to visualize what was done. Of all the companies that came to give us an estimate, Roof Masters project manager, Beto was the only one dressed professionally, on time, wore a mask gave us details of the work that would be done with no hidden costs. He was the only one who got up on the roof and took pictures to show us the condition of the roof. We were totally impressed! None of the other 3 companies came close to representing themselves as Roof Masters did. The crews foreman, Alvaro as well as Beto kept us informed of any problems that needed attention. Doug Slay showed up on time was very polite wore a mask kept his social distance and listen to all our concerns that we were having about this roof. Comment: The Roof Masters took care of our leaky roof yesterday. From start to finish they stayed in touch with great customer service! The two men that completed the job( the 2 Angels) showed up on time and got right to work. They let us know when they were leaving for lunch. I liked that! When finished, Angel walked me through what they did and showed me bunches of pics. They left the front yard as it was when they arrived and the roof looks wonderful!

Comment: I called several companies to come bid the installation of 3 skylights in my home. Doug from Roof Masters was hands down the most professional and courteous when inspecting my house. When I got the bid, it was completely reasonable for what I was expecting to pay.The day of the install, the team showed up right on time, talked with me to confirm we were all on the same page and got to work. By the end of day one the skylights were on my roof and only need a little more work on day two.After a couple hours on day two, I had three brand new skylights completely installed and my roof patched up as if the skylights had been there all along.Roof Masters was a very professional company and I highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

Comment: The Roof Masters was amazing to work with, all the way from customer service, to helping me find financing, to completing the work in a timely fashion and at a very fair price. Everyone was always so courteous starting with Doug who gave me the estimate, to Evelyn in the office, and all the way to Rafael who ran the crew and each worker that helped complete the job. This came as an unexpected expense due to all the rain and at a difficult time, and they held my hand through the whole process, making it much easier. They were always available to answer my questions and believe me I had a lot of them. Everyday they took the time to clean everything up, as I expressed to them I had very large dogs that hung out in the yard after the workers went home. I was worried about nails and debris, but they always made sure the yard was spotless when they left. The roof looks absolutely amazing and I am so glad I chose The Roof Masters. I am now confident when the rain comes and the wind blows. Being a Realtor, I am always on the look out for quality companies I can recommend to my sellers and buyers, and The Roof Masters will definitely be at the top of that list.

Comment: Johnnie, our Project Manager, was amazing with communication from start to finish on our roof. He was prompt and polite when giving the estimate as well as timely with getting the team to complete the project. As I live 3,000 miles away , communication was critical. Johnnie went above and beyond what any contractor would do and even tried calling my HOA who was incorrectly trying to say our roof didn’t match. He contacted me to keep me posted on all areas of the roof progress. All the neighbors that I know on the block raved about the job, including my General Contractor. The roof really looks fantastic. When I was truly stressed out by the HOA issues, Johnnie reassured me that he would help out. His support and help throughout was impressive and ultimately helped avoid a potential HOA/ owner disaster!Johnnie has a great foreman working on his team with Alberto on the forefront! Alberto called me to update me many times on the roof project. Comment: I chose The Roof Masters out of a half dozen roofing contractors and Im glad I did. Their project manager, Rigo, surveyed the condition of the roof and quoted a competitive price. Their field supervisor, Alberto, assembled an experienced roofing team who carefully removed two layers of roofing exposing a lot of damaged wood underneath. Their foreman, Lorenzo and his team went to work repairing all of the rotted and weak wood on the roof before laying their high quality 20 year shingles. The girls in the office were helpful and kept me posted on questions I had and provided excellent follow-up. The Roof Masters is a shining star in the roofing industry. Thanks guys!

Comment: Our roof has leaked almost every year since we bought it. Due to finances weve only been able to patch the areas that were leaking at the time instead of doing the whole roof. The Roof Masters have been amazing at coming out ASAP to repair the leaking area and/or tarp it (if its still pouring outside). Our most recent leak was coming from our chimney and we called The Roof Masters and spoke to Rudy (the owner) and he had someone out the next day which was Christmas Eve to repaper and seal the flashing around the chimney. There were a few holes in the flashing and the paper was shot around the chimney base. We are going to redue the rest of the roof so we have no more leaks. We will be using The Roof Masters for this job! The customer service was excellent and the workers did an amazing job! I would recommend them to any of my friends and family. Comment: Roof Masters are aptly named. Masters. They had to put up with an extremely inefficient Solar Panels company which needed to pull off the Solar Panels before they could begin the work of installing a new roof. This was required by the homeowners insurance company for my home which stated the roof must be completed by 12;01 am on Sept 15 or the insurance will be cancelled and there can be no renewal. Although I made it extremely clear to the Solar Panels company that the Roof Masters typically need 4-5 days to install a new roof and they cant do it until the panels are removed, they were minimally responsive. I finally got them to remove the panels Monday Sept 9, leaving the Roof Masters only a very quick time (that is, if their schedule would permit it) begin and complete the roof install in order to complete it by the deadline minute/second (the insurance companys) on Sunday the 15th. The Roof Masters staff was excellent in persistently trying to communicate with the Solar Panels company despite their incompetence and lack of response. One of the managers even gave me her personal cell number in order to avoid calling and leaving a message which could delay a return call. She always answered my anxiety-ridden calls. Finally they were able to send a large (bigger than normal) crew to start the work on the 18th (leaving them 4 days to definitely complete the project). They were always prompt in the morning, worked very hard, always kept the areas around the house clean and were respectful and kind in their dealings with me. They finished the house in 3 days! I inspected the house and it looks top shape. I personally drove 40 minutes to their office in North County San Diego to give them their final check and to show my appreciation. The three office staff were very kind and courteous, offering me candy, cake, drink (one had just celebrated her birthday, another was celebrating her upcoming wedding) and a free water cooling bottle; we laughed a lot and had a good time, since all my greatest needs were fully responded to, keeping the insurance company off my back! I would give 10 stars to the Roof Masters if there were 10!Couldnt say enough about the great service!

Comment: Last winter during the heavy rains I discovered we had some damage to the wood surrounding my roof, likely caused by flashing problems. I requested three estimates through Home Advisor and two on my own. Two of the Home Advisor contractors came to look at the roof. The third cancelled on me twice, so I told him to forget it. One of the other two showed up. In the end all three told me the roofs in the subdivision were pushing 30 years old, the flashing problem could be fixed, but they estimated the roof was only going to last another two or three years and recommend we replace it. At the time we were getting the estimates several of my neighbor’s roofs were leaking, so I decided to do the full job.One of the contractors only wanted to give me a verbal quote. Another’s written quote was handwritten on a piece of paper. Frankly, the lack of professionalism made me suspect their work might not be up to snuff. My impression was their company consisted of them, a cellphone and a bunch of guys they hire when they start a job. The third contractor was Roof Masters. Johnny showed up in a Roof Masters company truck wearing a Roof Masters shirt. He went on the roof, took pictures of the problems and described what needed to be done. As with the other estimates he told me the tiles needed to be pulled up, new felt needed to be put down, the flashings needed to be fixed and vents needed to be sealed. Johnny told me Roof Masters used a 50 year synthetic felt instead of regular felt and offered a 20 year leak guarantee with the job. In addition he recommended we install flat vents in the roof to lower the attic temperature during the summer…..great idea, because our second story runs about ten degrees hotter than the first floor during the hot months. Johnny completed an estimate and emailed it to me from inside his truck in front of my house. The estimate was in line with the others I got, but the initial experience with Roof Masters convinced me I was dealing with a very professional company that was licensed and insured. I picked them to do the job.My thoughts about Roof Masters were confirmed when they had a Porta Potty placed in front of my house at the start of the job….just like a professional construction site. I had not thought of this before, because I had not seen other roofers in my neighborhood do it, but when you are having a week long roofing job being done with four to seven workers, they are going to need to go to the bathroom. Without that toilet your choices are…they go in your house, they go in your yard or they leave the job to seek out a toilet. It was 100 degrees a couple of days during the job and the Roof Master crew did not let up. The workers were pleasant and I never saw of them lagging and I was there every day they were working. They completely cleaned up every day making sure there were no hazards such as nails in the yard. I joked my yard looked better than before they started. During the job I was able to communicate with Rigo the Project Manager and Claudia at the office if I had questions. They responded in minutes.In the end I am very satisfied with the job Roof Master did. Having dealt with a bunch of “fly by night” contractors” over the last 30 years it was truly refreshing to deal with a company that was professional from start to finish. I would not hesitate recommending them to my neighbors….in fact I already have and they have requested estimates of their own.
