Comment: I noticed the temperature fluctuating as I go to different rooms in my house, I also was a little worried that maybe there was a hole somewhere in my roof. I checked it out but it turned out my insulation was in terrible condition moldy dusty and worn out. Comment: I had a pleasure to work with Sergey and Attic Specialist crew for an insulation project on my 1950s two-story brick home.I had the usual problems old insulating barely up to the tops of rafters, missing insulation above soffits and more air leaks than you could shake a stick at. As I was shopping around on the project, this team was by far the most knowledgeable on the subject and very honest in terms of what my attic needed. I had plenty of questions going in, and Sergey had no problem sending over a number of updated proposals as I changed the scope of the project. After plenty of research, blown cellulose was a requirement after seeing its increased R-value over fiberglass, greater ability to stop air infiltration, better noise reduction and it wont make the attic a nightmare to go back into for future home maintenance. We ended up settling in on air sealing and an R 38 depth of blown cellulose insulation.When our schedules aligned and the insulation day finally came, the process went very quickly. Comment: I feel very lucky to find these guys. I had two referral to for Attic/Crawlspace insulation companies by a friend but I decided to go with The Attic Specialist. They removed all the old insulation from the attic and completely cleaned it up. They covered the entire attic with blown-in insulation and batts (R38) in some parts. Now the attic looks very clean. They also did a good job of sanitizing the attic and the crawl space. They used R19 batts for the crawl space and the job looks very clean to me. The also closed all the gaps to rodent proof the attic and the crawlspace. Overall I am very happy with my decision and I am looking forward to a warm and cozy winter inside the house. His estimate was lower than the estimate we got from competitor in the area.Sergey Project Manager and his crew came around 6.30 am . Comment: One of the great home services we had. Called to The Attic Specialist had a short conversation with Suzy and scheduled attic cleaning for the next day. Home services always made me stress full, those guys made the process easy for me. When they started worked early in the morning (6.00 am) Alex Project Manager explained the process again. Was friendly and able answer all my question even he was sweating from the attic heat.The Attic sqft is 1550 and it was so dusty and many roof debris old insulation Cellulose from 1956. I couldnt believe how many trash bags they been removed out. 12 White bags and around 40 black bags was out of the attic.The job done perfectly for my satisfied. I paid after we tour the attic together and Alex was sure Im 100% satisfied.Now the attic looks clean and rodent proofed. This is the time to complete electric works and soon i will schedule with those guys for lay down 1550 sqft R 38 insulation batts .Some time its not a matter of price.
