Comment: This review is based on my most recent experience. My previous experience was 1 star at best. More on that later.I had Beyers come and clean my gutters, under warranty. Jorge & Rosy arrived on time and spent almost 2 hours cleaning them. They did a super thorough job! Then they cleaned up all the mess that came out of my gutters, which was a lot. They also found some issues and gave recommendations on fixes.This was a huge improvement over the last time I had them come out. That crew was done in less than an hour, left behind a huge mess on my deck and around my house. They also used my water hoses. Jorge & Rosy used their own hoses. My gutters ended up glogging again 2 storms later. I decided to clean them myself this time and I found all sorts of sediment in them. No way that much had accumulated that quickly. Obviously they did a horrible job.Ill be sure to ask for Jorge from now on. Ill know Ill get good quality service.

Comment: When Byers says, If your gutters get clogged, well clean them THEY MEAN IT.The sand used in the new fiberglass shingles and the dirt over time washing into the gutters finally caught up to us. Byers sent out two of the finest young men you will meet in a while. Without wasting any time, they disconnected the down spouts from the underground pipe that takes the water away from the house. Found out it wasn’t the gutter at all. Roof flashing had shifted and was diverting the water behind the gutter. Comment: We just had LeafGuard rain gutters installed by Byers and are happy to share that Bren and Ethan did an excellent job. They were skillful in both the removal of old gutters and installation of the new. They went above and beyond by taking the time to paint exposed trim and siding from the previous gutters prior to installing LeafGuard. They also carefully removed a robins nest with eggs and put it back after completion to the delight of mother robin. She returned to her nest as if nothing happened. Thank you! Three years after the install, a visitor with an RV damaged a 3 foot section. Called Byers and they promptly scheduled a repair person. Comment: From the moment Lance, our salesperson arrived, we were impressed with the thorough job he did, both inside our home (peeking into attic spaces) and up on the roof, examining every space. Then within 30 minutes he had a presentation for us, showing us the materials, a video about why they choose the products they choose, and an estimate of the cost. No waiting for an email a few days later, but right then we knew what it would cost us. We did pursue 2 other quotes, as is our standard when getting work of this magnitude done on our home. While I suppose those two other companies could have put a decent roof on our home, they never asked to see inside our attic spaces, did not give us a professional presentation, or make us feel as confident in their services. Interestingly, all of the bids came within about $2,000 of each other. For us it was obvious we would go with the company with the name and reputation we trust -- Byers! We are confident that Byers will be around for many more years, and after all what good is a warranty if the company is no longer around to honor it? This new roof is beautiful, and the professionalism of the team removing the old roof and installing the new one reinforced our smart decision. After it was done, you couldnt tell theyd been here because the clean up was very thorough. I would recommend Byers for any home service product and installation. Byers...a name you really can trust.

Comment: The initial estimator who came out named Bill was very friendly my mom really loved him and I liked how he knew the product, the installers who came out were here really late on the first day measuring taking down and away the old gutters they made the new ones had everything ready to go for the next day and cleaned up everything. Comment: Andy and his assistant worker did a great job installing our (6000 unit) whole house fan system. They were very professional and made sure we approved the location of the whole house fans. The job was done fast, and was a very clean install. They used tarps to cover our floors when they were working, and cleaned up all the debris. We are very happy with the crew, and the fans. The whole house fans are very quiet, and really create air flow that brings in fresh cool outside air to cool the house, and attic. We would use Byers again, and would also recommend them to our family, and friends.

They walked us around the perimeter and showed us how the gutters would be installed and how the rain water would flow and debris kept out.We recently had our house painted and when the installers were here, they asked for the paint so they could touch up where the old gutters and down spouts occupied. Comment: Kent from Byers was very knowledgeable and informative about the Solatube whole house fan product during our consultation. When he came to install, he did it quickly (one hour, WOW hes good) and made sure to cover around the area to keep our house clean. I had done my research, so already knew Solatube was a highly rated product and what size we needed. Another company said they could only install their brand in the back bedroom which would require the door to be open or over the front entryway (not what I want people to look at when they enter). If you look at the photos, you can see we have a lot going on in our hallway, but thats where we thought it would be most effective and not so noticeable. Kent put the intake in the hallway between the AC intake and a light. Its been quiet (just a low hum) and cooled the house nicely at night. As a result, the AC hasnt started running until late afternoon even when the temperature in Sacramento, CA is hitting the high 90s-low 100s. Were very happy with Byers service and the Solatube product. Recommend you give them a try.

Comment: Early last year my husband and I had decided to paint the house over Cedar siding , it was far too costly and weathered that we didnt want incur that kind of expense. At that time we had also decided to redo the roof and gutters, this was the best option for us in the long run. After months of research we chose to go with Byers on booth the roof and gutters. We had started out wanting to do the work ourselves and after we painted our home we realized we did not want to do 2 more projects on our own.
