Comment: At Peroba Reclaimed Wood & Live Edge Slabs, we sell salvaged wood slabs, dimensional hardwood lumber and reclaimed lumber. In order to provide our customers with quality wood products, they have to be properly dried in our wood kiln. Weve spent a small fortune on this kiln and it is essential to our business.When our kiln stopped working due to shoddy electrical wiring done during the kiln installation, a few years back, I knew I had to call a professional to get it right. Calling Eli at SRY was a no-brainer. Ive known Eli for many years, since my days as a general contractor, and I knew he would quickly figure out the problem and fix it properly and to code. What I forgot was how dedicated Eli is to his customers. When he understood how critical the kiln was to our business, he came that day, after hours (!!!), assessed the issue and came back to fix it with all the required parts the next morning! Eli did a quick and clean job, top quality work and materials, and charged me a fair market price regardless of the immediate response and after hours response.Eli is a true professional who has integrity, honesty and pride in his work. Comment: During the pandemic our family blew out the power in the front half our house. We had to upgrade our whole electrical system quickly (were both teachers who had to zoom-teach from home). SRY Construction was great. They came right out, gave us a free estimate, and were ready to work right away. A permit from the city was required for the kind of electrical work we did, however, in early Covid-times permits were really backed up. Eli is a local, who knows how to work with the city and the inspectors. He maintained constant contact with the permitting office to ensure that our project could be completed on time. It was and we have not had any more electrical problems at all. Highly recommend.

Comment: Eli & his crew were really wonderful to work with. My house is quite old and we were able to come up with creative solutions to fix my wonky electrical wiring without going over budget.The SRY team is really friendly and nice to have around. They also put in a really long day and were on the job from 9-6:30 pm. I felt like they did that as a favor to me so that they wouldnt have to come back for a second day of work. Overall, I am really impressed by the job they did.

Comment: I lost partial power after PGE outage- I called the electrician that installed my breaker box multiple times with no response-Eli responded quickly and politely - came within time specified. He fixed my breaker and then came in to make sure everything was working as it should-the tv and WiFi were plugged into a power strip which smelled like fire———I feel lucky that he took the time to be sure everything was perfectHe even took my power strip to recycle it properly.I couldn’t be more pleased!!

Comment: We hired Eli to upgrade our kitchen and ended up doing the bathroom too! He is very knowledgeable and his team was great to work with. They installed new cabinets, counter-tops and tile. The result was even better than Id hoped for.The bathroom was very small with almost no room to move - I wasnt sure what could be done. Eli designed a new layout, moved a wall, installed a great new shower (with a rain shower head), new tile, and beautiful vanity with some much-needed storage.He also suggested I install a skylight which made the space even more open and roomy feeling. I couldnt be happier with the work and with all of the crew! Ive already recommended SRY to friend and family! Thank you SRY Construction!

Comment: We first hired Eli and his team to replace the side door on our house and we were so impressed with the speed, skill and professionalism of their work that we brought them back to help us with several other projects. They replaced our roof, including tear-off of 5 layers; completely redid the plumbing — supply and waste — of our entire house; installed a garbage disposal and repaired tile work; rewired the electrical in our workshop; retrofitted our house for earthquakes, installing braces and sheer walls; rerouted a sump pump drain; repaired and resurfaced an outside wall that had dry rot and cracked stucco; and finally repainted the entire house! And along the way, they even repaired our lovely old chime doorbell that had never really worked properly, fixed our house number light and installed new outdoor lights! They go beyond the extra mile. I can’t say enough good things about Eli and his team. They do exceptional work and are absolutely tireless in making sure you are happy with the result. And they really can do ANYTHING! On top of this, Eli and his team are all lovely people who were a joy to work with. We feel so lucky to have found SRY Construction & Electric and will absolutely work with them on all our home needs in the future.

Comment: Eli and his team did an incredible job renovating our master bathroom, which consisted of demoing the existing bathroom, reconfiguring walls, building a marble tile shower and custom double vanity and installing a jacuzzi tub, smart toilet and marble floors. Eli was the perfect partner in helping to tweak my design ideas, and his team of carpenters completed high quality work within our timeline. His workers were clean and courteous every day that they were on the job and they double checked that their work was meeting my expectations whenever I was home. The whole thing went quickly and smoothly with no glitches. Comment: SRY Construction & Electric gets 5+ stars from us. Eli and his team did a wonderful job replacing a beam and remodeling our kitchen and bath. Eli and his guys know what theyre doing and do it well. He gave us daily updates on the progress of our project, and worked closely with his team to assure that the goals were clear and that the work met his high standards. Each day before they left, his guys cleaned up the work area really well, leaving the house tidy. Maybe the best thing about the whole experience, beyond the excellent quality, was that Eli does what he says he is going to do. We would definitely use SRY again.

Rather than thinking of my review as biased due to this friendship, it should be considered as one that is based on solid familiarity and consistency.It is not only the projects in our own house, that speak volumes on qualities and benefits Eli and his crew offer, but it is also the experience and stories from other common friends or clients that I heard or saw firsthand.Few key benefits that I’m sure many can appreciate:- Very honest and reliable- Extremely passionate about quality, details and aesthetics.- Funny and very personable. Hard not to fall in love with his charm- Vast experience as well as creativity. Comment: A few years ago I hired SRY to remodel my bathroom. I was so happy with them I hired them to do another bathroom-- beautiful tile work in both. Then they did the kitchen/dining room/living room, with granite counters and tile backsplash and floors, and installed a deck. Their attention to detail regarding all their craftsmanship is a rare find. As a homeowner, if I need a contractor for any area-- bathroom, kitchen, deck, electrical, painting, roof, fence, space reconceptualizing, SRY is my go-to company. They can do it all and do a great job. I wont work with anyone else.
