Comment: Update 10/18/2022 - They replaced the inverter under warranty on September 15, 2022. Was still having issues and they came back to correct them with in two days. The system is working just fine and today they were able to provide the website information to monitor our system.Update: I was very happy to receive a response to my review on the next business day. They ordered the inverter. They do not know the expected time of delivery at this time. I appreciate them reaching out and communicating with me regarding this concern.Our newly installed system of just over a year had the inverter go out. We had issues from the beginning that were ignored. It took two weeks for them to respond. They did after two weeks, we were told the inverter needed replaced and would be ordered.Two weeks later an appointment was made to replace it. The tech shows up late to tell me he will check the unit. NOTE we have not had solar working for the past month in the desert always over 102. Today 110 along with electricity being turned off from the electric company.I told him a tech was out. I informed we were told the inverter needs replaced. I said one should have been ordered weeks ago. He said it was not. Sorry for the miscommunication on their part.I sent them an email weeks before which addressed the fact the damages incurred due to having to pay for the electricity and how were they going to compensate us since we purchased their unit over 60k. No response. Now another day off of work, no pay and no response from the company.I explained all of this to the tech. He informed his supervisor would call me right then and he left. Never received a call. Followed up with an email to them as well as a response to their were you happy with our service. No contact made by them.This company has failed to communicate. Has no regard for their client and just doesnt care.

Comment: Wow! What a great experience from start to finish. I particularly want to point out what a great job Hans Rheinheimer, the sales consultant did. He was extremely patient and thorough and set reasonable expectations for cost, timing, and solar production. I shopped around a fair amount, and had one bid that was lower than Semper Solaris. It was the professionalism and integrity that Hans showed that convinced me to go with them. I also really appreciated the regular project updates I received. Each step was listed along with the expected time frame for the step. Some of them were broad, like building permits 2-10 weeks, but knowing the best and worst case really helped set expectations. And they provided regular emails and phone calls so I was never in the dark. Overall, a 5+ rating. Im very pleased!

Comment: ***Update I have been contacted by Rachel at Semper Solaris and although I am gping to have to pay for the drywall repairs they are going to be done****I chose Semper Solaris to install 28 solar panels as well as a brand new ductless heating and air conditioning system. The process went well and while I am pleased with it I have 6 holes as well as a big hole in my ceilings where the old central heat and air ducts were never patched. Obviously I didnt address this in the initial contract signing (their words) so that wasnt included however becauae I paid cash they advised me it would be taken care of. Its been a year and a half and plenty of phone calls and emails without a solution. While I would recommend this company I strongly advise to make sure you include every little detail in the contract. I wrongly assumed they knew their responsibility was to patch these holes in my ceilings! I also found out if I hadnt requested them to haul away the old central heat and air system that they would have left it for me to deal with. Common sense issues to me for a $45,000 cash paid system!! The reps kept quoting their 5 star rating and because of this issue I am giving them 4 as I have reached out countless times to them to fix this to no avail.

The permission to operate took a while cause a form didnt match edison, ans the other form submitted was the wrong one. Sales man was great, installers, electricians, tec support and all that i contacted on the phone were amazing.The only negative i have is my system though i was told i could monitor my system, all along i assumed i would be able to see what what solar i produced and what my house was using, so i could have a comparison.. well since i didnt specifically clairify i wanted to compair usage with production, it is going to cost me more out of pocket to add a mod bus which requires a few hundred dollar part and has to be installed by semper installer....In general, i had a great experience , would highly recommend!

The Semper Solaris team was top notch from the sales team to the installers to the follow-up support. The sales team provided details on the costs and incentives associated with my purchase and reassured be about the time for installation. I was very impressed with the install. The team was conscientious, dedicated and meticulous about the proper placement of the equipment. At each stage the Semper professionals would tell me what was being done and how the system worked. I thought the conduits would be an eyesore but their cleanup professionals repaired the stucco and color matched the patch and conduits perfectly. The support with the SCE incentive was also second to none. If I ever have HVAC needs in the future, I will turn to Semper Solaris.

Their installers did a great job quickly and passed inspection the first time.I recived quotes from 3 other solar companies Semper Solaris beat them in every way. They had the best panels, the longest and most robust warranty as well as the cheapest price. I have no idea how they can offer their product at the price point.With covid and it being close to the end of the year getting the permits approved took almost two months. While waiting for the approval their office was in constant communication with me. It was great to get that weekly call to let me know they didnt forget about me.Be warned I an an electrician so this paragraph goes on in a lot of detail you can stop reading now and just look at the pictures. The installation was great I wish I had before pictures to show what they were working with. The panel and inverter were level and placed in a fashion thats appealing to the eye. The panel was made up cleanly and nolox was put onto the lugs, great touch. Roof jacks were used on all of the roof penetrations and were sealed. The conduit runs were plumed and level and painted to match the stucco. The bends didnt have any kinks I could see and looked great. My only complaint about the installation was how they ran the ground to the cold water. I wish they ran it through the wall into the garage vs. running around the entire perimeter of the house. Outside of that it was an extremely professional installation.Thank you very much for a great job done and Im sure it will outlast the warranty. Semper Fidelis.

The roofing crew did a good job. Had an issue with a fold on one of the roof shingles at front of house and Field Supervisor told me He would return and tack down the shingle. Still the same. Does not look good for such a beautiful roof.The Solar Panel installation went well. Started January 14 and completed January 18. We had PTO on January 28.Was disappointed with the Sales Representative. I specifically asked him if the price he quoted would include any extra work such as trim repair or plywood work and he said yes. Yet when I signed the contract, the contract stated I was responsible for any repairs over and above stated contract price. Disappointing. Someone at Semper Solaris needs to speak to Sales Rep.Overall, nice looking Roof and Solar System.

Comment: Excellent customer service! Quick install on my 22 solar panels. Installed November 6, 2020 and December 28, 2020 for roof inspection. Permission to operate on January 20, 2021. Might have been a couple of weeks earlier for permission to operate, but I ended up adding 2 Tesla Power-walls which are still in the beginning stages and have not yet been installed. I am glad I called Semper Solaris on January 15, 2021 to check on the status of my permission to operate, because they informed me that they were going to wait until the power-walls were installed and submit together. I asked if they can submit right away, because I wasn’t sure on how long it will take to get the power-walls installed. I got an email stating that it was submitted on January 18, 2021. And on January 22, 2021 I was granted Permission to Operate!I had a little issues with the placement of the conduits on my roof, but that was fixed to my liking right away. I really suggest to prevent that issue when they do your install, just double check on how they will be running the conduits on your roof before they do it.The customer service was excellently handled by everyone on the Semper Solaris Team. From my sales rep., scheduling team to project manager and on sight field installers. I was really pleased on how organized the the Semper team work.My solar system is working great! I am really pleased on how much this system is saving me.I can’t wait to get my Tesla Power-walls installed. I will be back to update!

They were straight to the point, they didnt try and push me to purchase more than I needed, nor did they try and trap me in a lease without the option to buy my panels like some other companies do. They explained the whole process and were very honest about how long it would take to get everything installed and operating. Despite having to do everything during covid, they did everything in a timely manner. It only took about 2 months to get everything installed and ready to operate and they did it smoothly and without being a burden to me at my home. Once i have been operating for 6 months I will update my review with the efficiency of my panels.

Comment: We got a new air conditioner from Semper Solaris and it’s great it was our upstairs air conditioner So WE sleep better they installed a germ killing unit (and who doesn’t need that these days) the guys were so nice they wore mask and laid down mat’s wherever they walk when they got all done everything was cleaned up . The unit outside is so quiet I love it. Another company came an inspect it and now the city is going to come and inspect it. They gave me a permit and the condenser is lifetime warranted and it can be past down to whoever owns the house after us. My wife and I are so pleased that the job went so fast and smooth. I cant remember seeing a work crew move so fast and seemingly without much supervision. It was a pleasure to see them so friendly and very respectful go on throughout the whole process. I didnt climb onto the roof but looked at the panels from the street behind us. All the gear and conduit that they installed outside and inside the garage looks so neat and tidy it is a pleasure to look at. Ben explained as he was doing the testing what might be the problem. This put me at ease since I realized that Ben would be able to get the system operating again. We live high on a hill against the Cleveland National Forest and our home us on 3 levels. We couldn’t get any companies that were willing to install solar panels because of our roofline and because the mountains cast a good amount of shade over our house. We were getting discouraged but we had one more meeting and that was with Semper Solaris.We found out that because of the design of their panels and how they are mounted on the roof that they could fit 18 solar panels on our roof. The installation process happened prertty quickly with no real problems. I initially had a concern with the guys being up on the tile roof, but they took good care while up there. It only took them two days to complete. Weve really enjoyed having the very light bills, there was only one bill in December during a really rainy month, that we had to pay $40 but otherwise bills have been extremely low. I had been thinking about getting solar for years, but put it off until I felt technology was worthwhile. Blake Lewow was very knowledgeable, came out and explained the whole system, and all the options. Having a low interest loan to fund the purchase helped quite a bit too. I did have an appointment with another company, but after I met with Blake, I cancelled my other appointment. The installers did a really good job and worked great as a team. They ran the conduit and lines very cleanly too. I like that my inverter is inside the garage and protected. The system has been producing consistently and I really dont have to do anything, it runs itself. I was so eager to turn on the system, but patiently waited. The SolarEdge monitoring is easy to use and I check it almost every day or so. My favorite part was getting a $23 credit on my first bill. The entire process was easy, upfront and very informative. It went very quick, actually faster than I thought.

Comment: I was very excited to get solar on my home. Just the savings alone was going to have such a big impact on my family’s budget, so we wouldn’t be concerned about those pesky electric bills. My husband and I had talked to a few solar companies, but it wasn’t until we had an educated consultation from Semper Solaris that we decided to make the investment. After our initial meeting, then the calls with the corporate office to finalize the plans, to the final installation we didn’t have a single issue. Once we made it to installation day, Matthew Ward and his team were beyond professional when answering our questions (regardless of how silly they were) with the final result and walk through of our system. I am so happy my family went with Semper Solaris for our energy needs. I feel like the relationship we built is going to be around for the long haul.

Comment: Semper Solaris seems to offer a great product, with excellent service, for a reasonable price. My panels are fairly new, but they are delivering everything that I have expected, and was told they would provide. I needed solar because I constantly run the equivalent to four (4) A/C units, all of the time. Between my A/C and an exercise swim spa, my electric bill would be out of this world. But with solar, I dont worry about running either, all of the time.They did a great job on install and showed pride in their work with the care and consideration of what the final appearance would be to the outside on looker. The installers did not simply run metal conduit over the closest eave of the roof, straight to the electrical panel - that would have been ugly. Rather, they ran additional conduit to a location where the conduit would be hidden, wrapped it around a small gable, under the eave, and back to the area of the electrical panel. They came back another day and painted the conduit the color of our stucco, so the metal would not stand out.Lately, the weather has been poor; weve had rain and heavy cloud cover, but my panels still pick up power from the sun. I know, because Semper Solaris hooked me up with an App on my phone that allows me to confirm my unit is operating, properly, panel-by-panel, day-by-day, with an exact amount of power coming to my property. It provides the Kwp and Kwh coming in and the number of equivalent trees that would have planted based on the energy saved.Ive had three calls, since the installation, to confirm that everything works, and there are no complaints or needs from our household.I would certainly recommend Semper Solaris, if youre considering a solar system; dont look any further than this company.

I originally signed with another company and Sales person and they never followed up again to let me know what’s going for months. Comment: We had our solar system installed by Semper Solaris about and are very happy with the results. Our sales representative Blake Lewow was very knowledgeable and help us with figure out a solar package that will cover our electricity needs at a great price, we were sold and decided give it a go. After a few days a representative came to do the roof inspection and to ensure the pre-layout was going to work. Couple days after that the final layout was emailed to me for approval and two week later the local permits were approve and ready for the installation. This process was very smooth and they were very accommodating and helpful to set up my installation date to ensure it was the right for us. The installation crew was very professional, efficient and friendly and answer any question I had. We would definitely recommend this company and Blake Lewow. for your solar needs. Comment: When I placed a call to Semper Solaris I immediately received a phone call back from Kurt to set up an appt. I was impressed by how timely the return call was. After meeting with him, I was convinced this was the company I was going to use for my new solar panels. The benefits of going solar are well worth the investment. The discount for the tax credit was very helpful too. We looked into the Hero program but in the end decided to use another option for financing. The installation process was pretty quick and I am looking for to the savings. Great job!

Comment: After a lot of back and forth, I finally decided to learn more about going solar. I placed calls to several companies and ended up setting an appointment with Semper Solaris. They were able to schedule a time which worked best for us. Kurt came out to meet with us and was super friendly and explained to us the incredible savings we could see by installing solar panels. He provided us with several options for payment and explained the incentives we qualified for. In the end it was really a no brainer. We are extremely happy with our decision and really are enjoying the savings. Highly recommend Semper Solaris.

When he arrived, he took the time to answer all our questions and explain the different options that were available to us. Comment: Semper Solaris delivered on their promise. We had our system installed within 2 months since applying and they did a professional install. Im a licensed contractor and know quality installs when I see it. The whole process was made very simple and the installation team was very professional.BTW, if the sales person shows videos of the panels being military grade by withstanding abuse on the panels themselves, believe it!I personally threw a regulation softball at the very first panel and it didnt break. I have to admit, the first throw was a bit soft. After remembering the video the sales person showed me, I took the liberty to unleash on the second shot to the same panel and it bounced right off with no damage to the panel. Impressive to say the least.I hope the installation crew who took videos of me doing that will post it on the company website. Comment: Recently had the pleasure of going solar American style. I heard a radio commercial on KFI that got my attention about them being veteran-owned and operated so I made a appointment. They sent Blake out and was very helpful and took his time explaining the benefits and savings. I asked him to build me a bigger system because I wanted to run my AC a bit cooler because I normally run it at 78°, so I wanted to be able to run it at 75°. So he built it at 120% of my current usage which not all companies would do for me. I also received America made panels not imported panels. The guys who installed everything took only two days and were all veterans, they cleaned up everything before leaving as well and i didnt even have to ask.Happy with the work semper solaris did.

If I had a question or was unsure of anything they got right back to me with an answer. I was not supposed to be ready to turn my panels on until mid June but they were so efficient I got to turn them on yesterday a full 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Comment: Bill Young was my salesman and Anthony Zelaya was my customer care representative. Both were fantastic. I took my time contracting, calling out five different companies for quotes. I finally narrowed it down to two companies and then went through countless reviews and learned about the equipment, inverters and solar panels that each company uses. I ultimately chose Semper Solaris for all of the above reasons along with their commitment to our veterans. Once the contract was signed and the plans approved, the installation day arrived. The entire installation was completed in about 6 hours. Then we waited for city approval and approval from So. California Edison. That took a couple of weeks and my system was activated a few days ago. I highly recommend Semper Solaris and I suggest you use Bill Young to get you started. Hes extremely knowledgeable in the industry and is completely upfront about the costs and benefits. Mr. Young isnt really a salesman and I mean that in a good way. No sales tactics, no pushing for a contract, just information and a quote. Even though I knew I was going to contract with him and Semper Solaris right away, we waited for over a week before I called him to let him know. I kept expecting all the follow-up sales calls from him but like I said, hes not a salesman. Hes just good people working for a great company and he just happens to sell a fantastic solar system.
