Comment: Platinum Home comes highly recommended! Devon was the project manager for my 2.5 bathroom remodel, and he is a great communicator. He came over the same day on short notice while I was in town visiting the subject rental property. I shared with him my vision of the project literally on a piece of paper and they turned the light “blue print” into reality without formal building doc instructions. The pricing was quick and within market. The quality, cleanliness, and friendliness of their sub contractors were strong. All inspections passed first time. Devon regularly took pictures and sent me progress updates as I live 2000 miles away from the work being performed. The team worked swiftly while accommodating my tenant’s schedule and even picked up parts/materials from local retailers that I purchased online to help complete the job. Well done and highly recommended!

We are happy to write this very positive review for this company and especially for our wonderful Project Manager, Devon, to report our experience. When we first started out with our extensive home remodeling project, we interviewed 8 different companies. We decided to go with Platinum mainly due to their fair price and Devon’s sincere and calm manner while working with us to determine what we wanted to do. As soon as we signed the contract, Platinum quickly got the ball rolling. Throughout the process, Devon kept in touch with us to report status on an almost daily basis.Devon is always available and extremely responsive. He worked with us very closely to find solutions whenever there are issues that they found with the house. Devon is a man of his word; he kept his promise and delivered on time throughout the entire process. Not only was our extensive project completed with all city’s permits / approvals in a short amount of time, but Devon and the Platinum’s team also generously identified and fixed other items around the house for us. Our house was absolutely transformed from an old and tired looking house to a bright, modern and beautiful home. We got so many compliments for the house now from everyone who has visited it. Comment: I found Platinum on thumbtack. Let me tell you, their name is appropriate! I have had awful experiences in the past and I was dreading getting the roof done. I requested 3 estimates. Once Devon Redmond showed up to my house I knew which company I would choose! He went over all the details at our first meeting and answered any questions I had. He checked in with me a few days later to see if I had any questions and I told him finances were an issue for me. He found me financing that suited my needs! He told me the job would take 4 days, he underpromised and overdelivered! The job was done in 3 days! They cleaned up very well also! I have attached before and after photos. He stopped by the first day to make sure everything was going well! He was always available via phone throughout the project. If he didnt pick up when I called, he called right back! I am used to a company treating you good until they get your business and then you are no longer a priority. Devon did not do that, I was a priority through completion and beyond! Comment: Weve been living in this house for 5 years and have been saving up for an extensive exterior painting project. When I called Platinum home builders, they offered us a free estimate, and after price matching with other contractors we felt like they were the most impressive both by their credentials, approach and price. We could not have been more right. Their level of professionalism and care to our home was amazing. They were excellent with covering the work areas and keeping the surrounding as clean as possible, always showed up on time and were flexible with our schedule. Most importantly, they got it done in 5 days! Gil knows how to run his team like a well oiled machine. Comment: Platinum Home Builders have restored my faith in hiring builders who gave me honest quotes, on-time service, and a speedy follow through by its representative, Devon Redmon.After another builder came to my door and informed me that I would need to replace my whole roof, I contacted Devon, who informed me that the previous builders were scamming me on the amount of work that my leaking roof needed. In less than a week after I contacted Devon, Platinums professional builders completed the job in less than half a day for 1/5th the cost that I thought I had to spend.And the electrical roof panels were installed in less than half a day by Platinum, resulting in a lower monthly electric bill, a rebate from the state of California, and an increase in my houses value.

I also had them install laminate flooring in nearly my entire home as well as 1500 linear feet of baseboards!! Comment: I had already spoken with at least 4 other companies before contacting Platinum. My first phone conversation was with Gil, the owner, who was friendly, informative, and professional. I then met with Mark and after observing the project, he offered an alternative solution that none of the others had suggested.The workers showed up on time, in fact, they were a few minutes early, which was great. Instead of 6+ days that others had estimated, the job was completed in one and 1 & 1/2 days. They used top quality products, and the finished project looks beautiful. Mark and I also discussed a second job in the future. I told him what others had determined that I needed. He checked and determined that I didnt need that, and what I really needed was a project that was much less expensive.Platinum was not the least expensive company, but if youre looking for a friendly, professional, very experienced, fully licensed, full service company that responses quickly to your phone and text messages, this is the one.

Comment: Our house needed some updating, the hardwood floors refinishing, and a remodel of the master suite and bathroom, including a build out for a walk in closet area. Our friends have said it looks like a hotel now, very posh and relaxing. Gil was always very responsive, and his tiling team did a really beautiful job, and his guys helped bring our vision to life. (I tried to put some before and after photos for visual comparison. The slatted wood behind the platform bed is acoustic wood paneling which helps absorb some sound. We added wood over the stairs as well as light bars triggered by motion sensors at the top or bottom.)

Platinum were very professional, very precise and their work process was clean. They worked full days and different guys did different jobs - shower pan, tile, caulking. Each a pro in their own area. Sometimes they were not directed what they had to do that day but they all communicated between each other and quickly determined what had to be done. After they were done with the bathroom, it was absolutely beautiful. I hired them to demo and install of a new tile for a fireplace and they did a great job. Something went wrong, but they made sure to care of it the next day. When the stairs were no longer accessible for a while, they first made sure I would be fine with access only through my back door. Also, I was planting a number of perennials nearby as they started working, and they were careful not to walk on them or lay construction materials on top of them once I pointed it out.
