Other companies either told me I needed a new roof with only a few minutes of inspection while others only focused on the obvious leaks. Everyone else gave me voicemail and only one of those actually called back. (A week later). Shabir came 2 days after I called, told me the issue, and fixed the following week. After unprecedented storms, the state of our roof became very apparent, and we had leaks everywhere. We contacted our home warranty company, but they had no one available to use and suggested we find our own roofing company.After some research, I found On Point Roofing Repair. The company was super responsive and came out in the middle of the rain to give me a quote. The quote was super reasonable, so we used them to complete the repairs. I am so glad we did. The team was super professional and fast, solving all of our issues, and a new one that popped up after the initial quote. It’s also nice that they guarantee their work for a set number of years.I didn’t ask the company to help me with my warranty claim because of the intense process, but several weeks later, they completed the form the warranty company could process my claim. To note: I didn’t know this until I received a call from the accounting department at the home warranty company for verification.I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Went above and beyond the original agreement by securing other unrelated loose roof tiles, replacing missing mortar and sealing various vent pipes. Comment: I usually dont leave reviews but these guys are really good. I had water damage from a roof leak and insurance was being unhelpful. We had to put out a lot of pur own money to get things fixed. I had a few roofing companies come look and they wouldnt talk about repair. They wanted $18k, that i didnt have, to redo the entire roof. Shabir showed up and took a look at everything and came up with a solid reasonable price i could afford. He responded to text messages within 15 minutes every time. When the day came to fix the roof they were on time, fast and took pics of all the stages of work they doing. A little over a dozen photos. And he guaranteed the work for.4 years. Comment: On Point Roofing: Honest, professional companyWe had no leak. Because of high winds, a 3ft x 1ft metallic flashing sheet was bent 90 degrees, and was visible from street level; if the wind blew hard again, this was like a sail waiting to move/damage the tiles and the roof. I called on 2/2/23 one roofing company for a repair estimate. A secretary fixed an appointment with a “project manager” (PM) on 2/9/23. PM came on time. He inspected the roof with a “drone.” He showed me on the drones camera screen the flashing and some tiles that needed to be replaced or fixed. When I asked him about the warranty of the work, he said there was NO WARRANTY. This was illogical; if a leak occurred after their job, since we had no leak before, this would be because of their reckless behavior. Then I called on 2/17/23 five roofing companies. Four of them had answering machines turned on. The last one that I called was On Point, and a person answered; his name was Shabir, he was the owner. He said he would come the next day. He came; I showed him the metallic sheet from the street; he diagnosed it as a flashing right there. He said he would go up on the roof and check. He went up, and took pictures of the tiles that needed repair; while up there, he already corrected the flashing. He gave a very reasonable estimate; and there was a FOUR YEARS WARRANTY about any leak. The repairs were done on 2/21/23. His crew (Duran and his aid) were also kind and professional; they took the pictures of each repair before and after; they finished the job within three hours. One can hardly find any honest, humble, professional guys as Shabir and his crew.

He made the repairs to the problem areas and found some additional tiles that need to be replaced. They opened up both valleys to allow better drainage down to the rain gutters. I had them out a year ago to repair a roof leak after a large storm but, we didnt have a chance to see if it worked.A year of rain later and no leak but, fast forward to this months big storm and of course the leak is back and more. They came out and quoted me an amount that seemed like I was ripping him off. He told me it was under warranty since he was here a year ago.He was able to come back in under a week to fix the repair and this time we simulated rain on the roof to verify it is fixed. I tried to pay him more but he refused and told me it was covered under his warranty.Regardless of the size of the company, these guys have the integrity and honesty not usually seen in contracting. I highly suggest you give them the chance if your roof is leaking or if you need maintenance.

Not only did he manage to squeeze in my requested inspection very quickly, but he also was able to follow-up with my repair work (both anticipated as per our home purchase inspection a few months ago plus additional services needed) within just a few days from the inspection! He was upfront with pricing, and gave me pricing options for repair work only, as well as for any additional valley/gutter cleaning I may want as well (which was much needed, but he didn’t push it — just offered). Shabir takes the extra time to take pictures both BEFORE AND AFTER, so that he can go over what services he recommends from “most important” to “suggested/optional”, and then show you the end result after the work completed! I find this to be a great note of professionalism and trustworthiness, and I greatly appreciate it!! Comment: During all the recent days of consistent heavy rain in SoCal, my roof started to leak badly and I was in need of a quick turnaround. When another company failed to show, I reached out to On Point Roofing and spoke with Shabir who came out within 2 hours to provide me an estimate. Because of the location of the leak being underneath the solar panels, I had to bring in a specialist to move the panels so that Shabir could access the area of the roof to be repaired. He was flexible with the solar resource scheduling and was able to complete his portion of the work immediately once the panels were moved and provided before and after pictures that clearly showed the damaged tiles and the repairs. We also encountered a massive amount of bird poop that had built up under the solar that had contributed to the leak. Shabir and his team cleaned everything up as well as my backyard once the bird poop was sprayed off the roof.Less than a week later, we noticed another leak in the similar area which I immediately placed a call to Shabir about. He was at my door step in under two hours, checked the roof and noticed that during the re-install of the solar panels, the installers must have unknowingly cracked some additional tiles while walking around. Even though it was not Shabir who caused that damage, he honored his work guarantee and replaced those tiles at no cost. When hiring a contractor, the ability to do the job is only one aspect that I look for. Responsiveness, professionalism and integrity are equally, if not more important at times and Shabir demonstrated all of the traits.I would highly recommend Shabir and On Point Roofing for anyone in the IE needing roof repair.

He knew right away what was wrong with my flashing and eased my concerns with his plan of action. He obviously used his x-ray vision. Shabir got on the roof to make sure of what was needed due to the unseen angles hidden from ground view. He took pictures of all needed repair, including broken tiles that needed to be replaced elsewhere.
