Comment: I give James Lord of Lord Roofing the highest compliment. After a heavy rain, my tar and gravel garage roof sprang a leak. I called several roofing contractors for repair or replacement estimates. One offered to sell me a spanking new silicone roof for many thousands of dollars and opined that my existing roof had seen its last days. James Lord came along and immediately discovered that a roof drain was blocked and cleared it out. He assured me that my roof had many years to go and left with nothing but a handshake. We’ll see what happens, but James showed integrity and commitment to solutions. James Lord will get my first call when I really do need a new roof on my garage or on my house.

Comment: James and his crew are absolutely fantastic, and Id highly recommend them for any job. James gave the most thorough and detailed inspection and estimate of any roofer we talked to, so it was an easy choice to go with him.When the work began, they really worked hard and efficiently with rapid progress. They didnt compromise on quality however, making sure every bit was done correctly even when they encountered surprises.James communicated exceptionally well at every step, and they cleaned up entirely when they were done. What more could you want?

Comment: We requested a bid from Lord Roofing for a torchdown roof. James Lord was excellent at communicating, patiently answered all our questions, provided a reference on request, and gave an extremely competitive bid. The only reason we didnt hire him was because we ultimately decided to install a different type of roof (PVC).

Comment: Mr. James Lord and his team were the exceptional group with hands down. From start to finish they were excellent in their work performance. I wouldnt think twice to have his company to do more roofing repairs again with NO hesitations at all. Comment: I live in Marina and had an issue when a storm in the early months of 2019 blew the metal roof off my enclosed patio. That metal roof went flying through the air, down the street, and into the yards of my neighbors like a frisbee with the last little bit of remaining semi attached roof smashed up looking like an airplane had crashed landed on top of it. I googled roofers and made some calls. Some businesses returned my calls, some didn’t. Those that did, and after looking at the remaining wreckage, informed me there was nothing they could do. However, they noticed that the main part of the house needed to be replaced. No other solutions were offered to me concerning my original reason for calling them out. Called James Lord, of Lord Roofing. He came by and observed the damage letting me know that even though he couldn’t replace the metal roof he knew some people who could, A&R Sheet Metal. James never left me hanging. He would, however, be able to replace the shingles to the main part of the house, and the shed. He got in touch with that company right away and they came right out. When I told him I needed to find someone to replace my deck and fence, he also knew someone who could do that... Sampaolo (Joey) Builders. James Lord even knew an electrician who could help when I needed my lights looked at. James told me exactly what he could do, would do, and what the job would cost. He is a small business but he and his crew were on it. Every day. On time. They didn’t play around on the job and had it completed in a very, very, short time. I found ALL of these workers, Brian, Javier, C.D., Joey, Ashley (Joey’s wife who worked just as hard as the men), Ahmad, and the men of A&R Sheet Metal to be some of the best people I have ever met when it comes to professional workers. They were all very polite, personable, ALWAYS on time, cleaned up their work at the end of the day. I was MORE THAN PLEASED with their work after it was all completed and miss them coming by on a daily basis. They became like family to me. And because they are Marina based, they often times work together and are able to keep the flow going, not leaving me hanging. I was never left out there by myself to figure it all out. And most of all, they were reasonably priced. So reasonably priced that I had them replace the roof on my shed as well. So glad I didn’t need to have a company drive down from the Bay Area, or someplace leaving jobs outstanding because no one knew who to call. All of these people worked together, beautifully. No prima donnas in this group. Lord Roofing is small, but mighty. And for me, definitely heaven sent. Thank you James and company!!!
