Comment: George and Randy are an amazing team to work with at Journey Builders. The new roof was done exceptionally well and had no problems during and after the crazy CA winter rain in 2022.My slab foundation needed repair as well, Journey Builders made sure to cover everything needed to get the job done from demo, haul away, permits, and cleanup! Exceptional quality work is the end result you will receive from Journey Builders.The city of LA can take a while for permits to be approved but George does his best to check in everyday and offers status check-in calls to leave your mind at ease. Just be patient since it’s out of the contractors’ hands at that point.

Comment: Mark at Journey Builders could not have been nicer or more professional. He was also very respectful. And, miraculously, he was able to get the leak in my roof repaired in between storms. The best news is that the roof didn’t leak again during the next day’s pounding rain. In addition, he took photos of what he found during his inspection of my roof, and explained in detail how the repair would be done. He also showed me the materials he would use. Then after the repair he took photos to show exactly what had been done. I could not have been luckier in finding someone to repair my roof. I would definitely call Mark at Journey Builders for any future roof problems.

Comment: Journey did thorough evaluation of the roof’s condition not just replacing the shingles but also uncovering damage from rot in the wood framing underneath. Provided their own roof inspector after installation was complete. Extremely easy to work with and made ever request asked of them to our satisfaction. Always responsive in a quick manner in getting back to me. If you want a 50 yr guarantee on your roof, they’re the ones to call.

Comment: Mark, the Roofing Specialist who spoke with us, spent a lot of time letting us know what we needed and showed the shingles samples and other materials they use for roofing. Also, they are fully insured. He also explained how the process works and only had to pay when the stage they worked on was done. Mark communicated with us every day. He told us what was going to happen that day. The workers cleaned up daily, and no debris was left in the yard. If you want something, ask them, and if the city allows, they will accommodate, we asked for extra went, and we got it.The finished roof looks fantastic.We chose Journey Builders because of Mark. We liked he was not pushy like the representatives from other companies.Highly recommend. If youre looking for roofing or renovation of your home or property, definitely give them a call.

Comment: Mold remediation. The guys here are exemplary! The professionalism is exemplary. Especially Mark, an upstanding individual. The only thing of concern is two specific workers who were sent to demolish the affected areas and not using masks, respirators, no safety plastic on house floors, no bagged mold infested debris, simply traipsing through the house with caked on moldy drywall and debris through the house. Disregarded my request to close the door every time they entered and left. Resulting in my elderly mother, dialysis patient sister, cancer survivor wife and daughter suffering extensive upper respiratory infection. Apart from these two workers, this company and Mark individually were awesome!! Thanks guys!

Comment: I had a ton of leaks on my roof, so when I starting looking into roofers, Journey Builders popped up on my screen. I saw they had great reviews on google and yelp, so I decided to take advantage of their free estimate. I called them up and had a appointment the next day, the girl that I spoke with was very polite and professional, When the roof specialist came out, he took a look at my roof and showed me pictures and was very thorough in explaining the process of changing my roof. He have me a great price and seemed like he knew what he was talking about. When they started my project, they were very fast and efficient, the guys clean up very good and the process was more seamless than I anticipated. I definitely will recommend them to my friends, when they need their roof done!

They really helped me out getting started on my home repairs so I can move me and my two children out of California.I had a long-standing, years-long leak in my master bedroom which no one could figure out and so I couldnt move forward to repair my water-damaged ceiling until I figured out if it was the rain gutter or my roof or what. Thats when I had Mark with Journey Roofing come over to take a look and since it looked to him that it was def a roof problem, he immediately gave me a really phenomenal price to start a contract (plus he was adorable, I just really loved Mark!)So almost immediately their crew came over & got up on my roof, did a couple things and figured out that a long time ago somebody had not put plywood down on only one part of the roof over my bedroom so therefore the rain could leak in. After I thought for a bit about the history of this leak, that made a lot of sense to me and I was sure this was the problem all along & therefore arrangements were quickly made to rectify this problem.They were also extremely professional and constantly kept me informed every single day (sometimes twice a day) about what was going on and when they were coming over next, etc., even providing photos of the work being done.They got everything done really fast too and now only a few days later Im sitting here with an absolutely watertight roof over my head that is backed up with a written guarantee, which I can pass on to the buyer of my house when I sell!Ntm I am just so relieved that I can now repair my ceiling w/o worry of any possible future leaks! And all at an unbelievable price!Also I would be remiss not to mention how these guys were so unbelievably considerate of me, my feelings and my familys current situation and so I just have to say how very grateful I am for that!I just cant recommend them enough!
