Comment: I started my roofing project for my home on Yelp. I picked one roofing company and then Yelp provided recommendations for 2 others.My experience was not so great and the proposals varied very very widely.Dissatisfied, I started looking for roofing companies with positive reviews myself, and I ended up reaching out to Jim Hageman.I am glad I did. Jim and his team responded to my request the same day and Jim himself showed up the next day to take a look at the house.I got a proposal the very next day.I recommend Jim Hageman roofing company for many reasons:Jim Hageman is a roofer but Jim and Rebecca are “down to earth”. They are also easy to work with.Jim’s bid was very competitive. Also, his bid was structured so that some add-ons were options that I could choose to do or not do.Many other roofing bids were not detailed or just provided one total package value.The overall process was simple to work with. Jim and Rebecca came over a couple of times to show the samples for the shingles before the project started.They also showed up each day after the project work began.We did run into some small glitches. But this is not uncommon. However, Jim and Rebecca had these issues fixed. They were quite responsive. And always answered all my questions.The overall project was well managed.Give Jim Hageman Roofing a try….

Comment: We selected Jim after getting 8 other quotes (!) - they were not only the best priced but also the most friendly and trustworthy. Many others sent salesmen that seemed a bit oily who would start with a very high price, then bargain down step-by-step - not a good sign! Jim, being the owner, gave a fair and firm estimate, and I could trust that if other work was needed along the way, he will be fair and not try to gouge me (turned out to be true).Jim & Rebecca gave us an extensive reference list so we drove around to see the work, and check out the colors and styles. We finally settled on the Presidential TL shingles (Shadow Grey), opted to add ridge vents and had additional work to repair the hog valley and AC framing. Once agreed, they started the work within two weeks. First morning was the teardown, and then Samuel & Juan started putting the new materials which took another 5 days to finish completely.First couple of days, things were a bit messy and one time, they left some loose materials that flew down on our neighbors yard (which he wasnt happy about)! But they cleaned up well enough each day, and Jim & Rebecca would visit daily so we could review the progress and any issues with them. They were happy to take care of aesthetic issues like misaligned nosing strips, or painting the collars / framing to match the rest of the house. We added a job to paint a flat roof with reflective silicone coating, which they did for a reasonable price.They took care of the permit and inspections (city took a bit longer than expected and didnt print out a nice, final permit in the end). We did our own final inspection with Samuel and he took care of some minor details immediately. We feel the quality of work is good, and the materials / finish look very appealing.Other shops may come across as more slick or professional, and some are certified by the manufacturers so they offer 50 year warranties (GAF Golden Pledge, Certanteed SureStart Plus 5-star, Owens Preferred / Platinum). Jim says he does not pay to be certified and provides his own 10 year workmanship warranty. He also says manufacturers almost never pay out on warranty as they find some other fault to blame. In the end, we went with Jims avuncular trustworthiness over dubious warranties & glib salesmen. Time will tell, but so far, we are happy we went with Jim and have no hesitation in recommending him to others!

Comment: Had a great experience with Jim and his crew. They came highly recommended by one of my neighbors who was very happy with the work they did on her roof. I reached out to them and they responded timely and communicated very clearly. Came for an inspection, shared options and cost very neatly. They communicated very clearly and were very time efficient and very professional. It felt like the smoothest process I had with any home improvement project and it was a pleasure working with them. Im very happy with the results and how my roof looks and their reasonable cost even after finding wood decay and having to spend more time working on it. I really appreciate the high quality work that was completed and will highly recommend working with them.

Comment: Jim and Rebecca were great to work across the entire project. They were very flexible with the choice of roof material and color. We ended choosing the Presidential TL composite tile. Once the project started, Jims crew was very professional and cleaned up nicely at the end of the day. They were also diligent to examine the roof and eaves for any dry rot damage after the old roof was removed. The whole project took 5 days. The finished project looked fantastic. It was definitely a welcomed clean look compare to our wood shake roof that was on its last legs.

Comment: I cannot say enough good things about Jim Hageman Roofing! Jim, Rebecca, and his roofers are incredibly polite, prompt, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to do business with.We opted to have new OSB decking laid down, new asphalt shingles, added the ridge vent, new gutters, and new downspouts. We also asked to have our old attic fan removed, and we had our shed in the back roofed while they were there. Our work included a section of flat roofing that covers the patio and office in the back of the house.My wife and I were blown away by how good the end product came out. The ridge vent, new shingles, flat torch-on roof, and gutters look better than we could have expected. Jims team required no project management from me, they cleaned up after themselves, and they were incredibly fast at re-roofing the house.I cannot say enough good things about Jim Hageman Roofing. If you are looking for a roof, you are wasting your time looking elsewhere.

Comment: Jim, Rebecca and crew were professional, courteous and great to work with. All questions and concerns were addressed. We had our 30 year old roof replaced, boards on the eaves that were damaged were replaced, our chimney was removed due to no longer being used, and an attic vent was installed.A big thumbs up to RICO, the main roofer, who is professional and meticulous with his workmanship. And a great guy!All debris was cleaned up. Many neighbors who watched the work being done commented on what a great job they did. I highly recommend Jim, Rebecca, Rico and crew.

Comment: I very highly recommend Jim Hageman Roofing. Jim, Rebecca and team are fantastic.My house was built in the early 70s and under the old building code was not required to have plywood underneath the roof tiles. The heavy concrete tiles were also causing significant damage (bending) to the wooden structure supporting them. Additionally, there were numerous dimensional issues with the wooden support structure, problems left there by the original developer/builder.Jim and I discussed what needed to be done, and he listened carefully. In the end, Jim came up with a strong plan for action with an aggressive schedule and a very competitive price.Jim and his team executed the plan to my complete and total satisfaction. New plywood and other materials were added before Presidential TL composite shingles were installed. In the process, all dimensional issues with the old wooden supporting structure were fixed. My new roof looks amazing! I was at home when the City Inspector came over to check the roof. I asked him what he thought of the work and he said it was very well done.Again, I very strongly recommend Jim for any roofing project without any reservations.

Comment: Jim and Rebecca were friendly and very responsive. Answered all of my concerns quickly and professionally.The team on my roof did a wonderful job, 3 days and done. Excellent job cleaning up all the roofing debris.I had a sun tunnel added and a solar fan. Love the sun tunnel, added much needed light to my dark living room. And hope the solar fan will help cool down my house on hot summer days.Hagerman roofing guarantees work for 10 years where all others were at 5 yrs. That was a nice selling point.

And, Rebecca quickly responded and was available to answer all our questions regarding process, permits, and samples.The work was done timely and efficiently. I appreciated they were fully prepared and timed everything very well. That is, demolition, inspection and arrival of materials.Our house, being the portal to the community, was in need of sprucing up. And, a new roof has made a huge difference. Comment: The Hageman group did a great job for my little 70 year old house. The crew: Rico, Gustavo and Benjamin did a great job with only one setback, but made up for it the next day.The management: Jim and Rebecca very personal and hands on. When a question of specifications came up and they didn’t have an answer, Rebecca got us on a conference call with the manufacturer onto settle the matter. Like any old house we ran into problems when the roof came off.The crew consulted me in an impartial manner. It was my choice to do the work or not. No pressure. The tear off crew was fast and cleaned up properly. The gutters crew took 4 hours to complete. Some of my eaves didn’t line up (cosmetic) with the gutters (my decision not to centerline and trim) but suggested a fix I can do myself. Anytime a contractor is at your house, you cannot be absent .As steward of your property , You must be focused on the work being done and uphold the finished result you envision. I was on site every day. Inspecting and there for questions and concerns. I have already suggested Jim to my niece who needs her roof done.Oh did I mention that The roof was done on time and came in just under budget?Thanks Jim and Crew!Dave
