Comment: I bought a solar panel array from Guyou in 2018 and pretty much said goodbye to my SDGE power bill. After finding out, just because you have solar panels does not mean your power will stay on if the power on your street is out in the middle of the day. So in 2020 I added a battery bank and isolation switch and now my power stays on 24-7 even when the power on my street is out, it switches automatically. SDGE May Bill -$96.10, SDGE June Bill -$210.50, SDGE July bill -$265.56, those are credits on my bill, not what I owe them. Guyou installed the perfect Enphase system hassle free and as promised, no surprises.***********************************************Recently had some network communication issues and Guyou and Enphase came out, identified the issue and my system is back up an running!!! They stand behind this system.

Comment: On 7/14 Guyon Construction was the installer for my Solar System and Christian and his crew was here when they said they would be, kelp me informed the whole time they was on my property of their progress, and when they left the area was all cleaned up like they was never here I was so pleased with the whole Solar install. A few days later on 7/27 when it was time for my final inspection Mauricio texted me that the inspector and himself was coming today, he opened up the electrical panel and went over the complete install looking for something that would have cause the inspection to fail and just another set of eyes on the job he meant with the inspector and afterwards he also went over the electrical breakers and how the Solar System worked. The back log for the city inspections were very time consuming during the coming change in Net Metering but they always passed each step along the way. The engineered system has to be approved by the city prior to installation insuring the home owner gets a good safe system. I was always informed of the project along the way. We are now waiting for the system to synchronize with Edison enabling Net Metering and powering on.

Comment: I talked to quite a few solar companies and settled on one. After all the planning and financing, it was time for install. Guyou was the contractor being used to install my system. Three workers came out and it took them no time to get the materials on the roof.This particular day was very sunny and hot. They finish the entire install in less than 6 hours. That included all wiring, panel installs and Enphase box. When they were finished, they cleaned up really well. They also sent me photos of the panel layout, etc. on the roof. If theyre other work is as good as the solar install, I would highly recommend them.

Comment: Construction workers of Guyou worked really hard to install the solar panels at my home. They were very efficient and clean, and have been doing this for years. We we’re amazed at how dangerous it was for them, carrying up the solar panels with one arm and climbing over two stories to the roof with the other arm, with nothing more than a vertical ladder leaning against the roof line and using no harnesses to strap to their backs. It seems they were proficient and have been doing this day in and out. The other company that installed my neighbors house had an expensive truck that had to lifted them all the way to the second floor and unloaded the solar panels at that time. Anyway, we were really concerned for their safety but they were so adept and proficient at it and was just another typical day for them. They knew what they were doing and did it without trepidation. We were thoroughly impressed.

Zach from Guyou Construction reached out to the painting company and handled all the communications with them, when the painting company decided not to corporate, Zach went above and beyond and made it right! Marissa also was back at it and helped out right away. She reached out to different departments to get this resolved. Fast forward to today William came out and not only was he ready to fix my panel he even checked my roof for any cracks caused by the painter going up there. Comment: Guyou Construction Inc installed solar panels to our home less than a month ago. I was nervous about having panels placed on my tile roof due to tiles being broken and the roof penetration causing leaks.They came out and did an assessment of the attic, rooftop, etc to make sure that everything would go smoothly.On the day of the install of the panels, they informed me about what they were going to do each step of the way. Every question was answered with true interest and respect for me and my home. They did a remarkable job with fine detail, in record time.The entire crew made it a pleasant experience that I would recommend to anyone. This was the main reason I was hesitant to install solar panels before because I did not know the crew that would be doing the install.On completion, the panels were supported with low rise supports so birds could not build nests under my panels and make a big mess. My neighbors had this issue with pigeons that never seemed to leave. No tiles were broken and they even scoured the entire roof making sure everything was in place and all trash was removed from the property.If I was going to do this again, I would definitely call them for the installation.

The roofers and the solar install crews both left quite a bit of trash on the roof, which obviously blows off eventually. We’ve been up and running for several months now with several rain storms and so far everything is holding up and working properly.

Comment: From the initial phone call to the sales man to the whole construction process our experience with Guyou was great. I reached out looking for a roofer and the lady on the phone asked if it would be okay to speak about solar as well. I of course agreed. The salesman came out and was very professional and walked us through the entire process and even got us a great financing for roofing and solar. (Better than any other quote we had previously gotten just for a roof.) The whole process took about 3 months but the people in the office stayed in contact with us every step of the way. There was absolutely no surprises. The contractors they sent out were very professional and cleaned up after themselves 100%. We have dogs and kids so that was very important to us. Overall a great experience and very nice people. Would use again for any other home improvements needed.

Comment: The team from Guyou installed the expansion to our home solar system. Everything from scheduling, pre/post project completion, and follow up was very professional. I appreciated the installation team. They let us know what to expect from their process as well as the building inspector from the city. Even little things like how long we’d be without power (only a couple of minutes), cleaning up and coming back to paint the conduit so you wouldn’t know this was an addition. Comment: I had received estimates from four other solar system installation companies before I contacted Guyou. Their pricing was so much lower than the other four I just had to find out if the product & service was at all comparable.First thing was the thorough and professional way in which I was treated from the moment I called their sales office to the visit from their sales rep. I was told in clear language the major values, differences and issues inherent in any solar system; many things the others did not cover.It was a real education into what I was wanting to buy. I came to appreciate that there were valid and understandable reasons that Guyou could beat the others costs by so much.From that point on there was an entire team readily available for me and my beginners questions. Their installation team showed up on time & worked very quickly without much input from me while here. They very well knew what they were doing.My questions & concerns about the installation contract aspects, the loan contract I took out and the relationship I was about to initiate with the power company were made clear to me.For anyone who wants solar but has no personal experience in it, I recommend Guyou for a very satisfying & reassuring experience. And at half the cost of others as well.
