Comment: I scheduled a safety inspection through Greener Solutions after getting their $39 safety inspection ad in the mail. Our system is a couple of years old and I wanted to have some general maintenance done. Carlos, our tech, came out and helped check that our thermostat and full system was working properly, and walked me through necessary steps to follow to keep our outside condenser unit clean. He took time to clean the coils and make sure it was in optimal shape.Carlos was helpful and answered all the questions I had for him. I would definitely recommend Carlos and Greener Solutions for a system check up.

Comment: Bret was amazing! Super friendly and Professional and you can tell he knows his stuff. He started by checking the filters and making sure we are using the correct size and quality filters. After that confirmed correct temp. for both cooling and heating coming from my ducts. Then checked the heater and cooling system in my attic for any issues and taking pictures and blowing out the dirt. Him and I talked through the whole system so I could understand the problem areas from top to bottom. He also checked the condenser unit outside and explained the cleaning process with the VIP maintenance plan. Went through freon and checked and noted with pictures for that as well. We ended with checking the water heater and gave me a few pointers on that. I will definitely be signing up for the VIP maintenance plan so I can keep my system running at optimal efficiency for the full life of my HVAC system. Thanks Bret you are awesome!

Comment: Bret was our representative from Greener Solutions heating and air. He did a 5 star service inspection for us on our heater and air conditioner. He has been the most detailed service person we have had and even changed out our filters, changed our light bulb that had burnt out in our attic so that my husband (who should NOT be on a ladder) didn’t absolutely need to do. We were so impressed with their inspection detail (Bret took pictures of everything he saw and inspected on our heater so we could see without having to follow him up the ladder to the attic). He wore shoe covers before entering our home and spent a significant amount of time explaining his company’s services. He was honest and stated our heater & air conditioner were working well and wasn’t at all bothered by my husband and I following what he was checking (temperature of heat/cold air) being emitted with a handheld temperature device. They are a 24 hour service company with live people answering the phone that speak well without having to have them repeat what they have said. Their prices appear fair and we appreciate their honesty. Bret was professional, knowledgeable, not high pressure and extremely thorough. We would recommend this company highly.

Comment: I just wanted to give my thanks to Greener Solutions professional team that has just completed replacing my home HVAC system that was too old and not doing the job of keeping my home cool as the old system was over 40 years old. The Greener Solutions team came out very quick and accommodated me with my tight schedule. The team was very helpful and very knowledgeable and professional, not to say that they were courteous in every way. They came out and inspected the old HVAC system and found out that the system was basically shot and needed to be replaced. The most concerning was that the heater had burn marks that indicated that the flames had jumped outside the housing and could’ve caused a house fire. So, I really wanted a new system installed right away because the temperature is rising due summer heat. I thought it would be necessary and wise for me to replace the unit ASAP. I worked out an equitable deal for a new system and the whole team immediately began on a plan and sent team members to start the process the same day. The owner of the company even came out himself that day and started working on having the old system removed. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of response and timeliness of the whole team. The fiancé department also hooked me up with a loan to get the project going. The team accommodated me by coming out the next morning and installing the new system that was professionally installed by a capable team. All team members from top to bottom were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and pleasant. I would like to thank each and every team member: Hayden (owner), Carlos, Manny, Jesse, Khalil, Adrian and Gary, and the financial team who helped arrange for the loan. Hopefully my memory hasn’t failed me in mentioning everyone involved. The system was installed and tested and worked as expected. I’ve had a chance to use it for the past couple of days and it’s awesome. My home 🏡 is nice and cool which is perfect for the happiness of whole family. I would like to conclude by saying that I’m so happy that I chose Greener Solutions. I had a gut feeling that they were the best choice to do the job, and they definitely did not disappoint. We had some issues with the AC not cooling down as well as it should, and they took the time to diagnose the issue. Comment: I set up a safety check appointment based on a flyer I received in the mail. Having used Greener Solutions before for my mothers house I felt I could trust them to do a good job and give me an honest evaluation of any needs on my almost 25 year old HVAC system. Technician Bret did a very clearly thorough and careful exam, cleaned and blew out some internal components on the furnace, tested electronics, measured a/c temperature and airflow at vents in house, went on the roof where condenser was and tested its components. Since the compressor is on the roof, ive never done maintenance on it in terms of like cleaning out the very fine cooling fins. The air always seemed like it was cool coming from vents. He recommended cleaning the condenser and was able to do that additional service while he was there using a special foaming cleaner and lots of rinsing. The temperature at the house vents after this dropped 5 degrees. I will probably pay for the cost of the service by the improved efficiency of my A/C this summer and be more comfortable too, and less stress on the a/c equipment. So Pro Tip: get your condenser cleaned every year at least, or learn how to do it yourself, and youll save a lot of energy.So i think I really got my moneys worth from the safety check service and additional condenser cleaning.I put our system on an annual maintenance program which i feel will both save energy and extend the life of my system. If i need to replace my system at some point, I would feel confident asking Greener to do it. They have proven to be reasonable, honest, thorough experts who know what theyre doing and how to treat customers right. 5 stars all the way.

Comment: Routine checkup…had an afternoon appointment and mid morning Julian (technician) called to see if I was able to accommodate an earlier appointment, which I was (& happy about that too). He arrived 10 minutes later, checked out the heater & air conditioner. He found a couple of issues with the installation of the heater (installed by Rod Johnson a couple of years prior) whereby there was no fuse installed to protect the motherboard, no filter ‘track’ to keep it in place & a really unsafe cover for the vent over the heater flames. He did not pressure me to fix them but made recommendations of which were helpful. Nice guy, pleasant and professional. Addressed my needs quickly and was on his way. Hopefully he comes back next time.

Today was a 6 month follow up to ensure our system was still doing well and maintenance little things. It was a 6 foot tall beast with about 7 big asbestos-wrapped ducts off the top and no forced air, just a big flame that gobbled natural gas. There was no central air in her 2-story 4000 sq ft house. All contractors we asked for quotes all said the same thing, including Greener Solutions: “Wow, never seen anything like that before”.Based on the system proposed, we selected Greener as they seemed the most experienced and had a plan. Over about 10 day period, they removed the old furnace (requiring it to be sawed into multiple pieces including a cast iron heat exchanger), did the abatement, installed an efficient full HVAC system tied into existing ductwork with custom plenum and in-line dampers for control of air distribution. It even has a UV light air sanitizer just downwind from the airfilter element at the intake. A full brush vacuum duct cleaning was done as part of the quote, and boy was it needed with 100 years of dust and dirt in them.It would have taken them less time, but had to wait a few days due to weather and having to get a larger AC condenser outside. They moved quickly on the furnace to start and Mom was without a furnace for only 2 days. The workmanship and skill of installers Jesse, Zach and Nick was on full display and it was impressive to see them and owner Hayden problem solve as they went along to get this unique and difficult install done. Greener had great communication at each step with Priscilla and Amy in the office keeping us informed and making sure we knew what to expect with scheduling. Bret Pollard was our initial sales contact who presented the quote, and while we knew this would be a significant investment in the house and there’s always concern in your mind as to whether this is the right contractor, Bret is super knowledgeable and authentic and that helped us select Greener. Hayden has assembled a skilled, motivated, dependable, and efficient team that I feel all pull together to do a quality job. As someone who ran a small business for 35 years, I know how hard it can be to develop that kind of team. I can recommend Greener Solutions without reservation. Our old unit took 35 to 45 minutes to heat 1 degree much less 2 .Air conditioning took 15 minutes to cool the house 4 degrees ( old unit) 2.5 hours to even get it down 2 degrees much less 4 .I would hire these folks again in a heartbeat.Thank to the family of Greener Solutions.

Comment: Robert and Rich came to inspect my HVAC today. They were professionally dressed wearing clean uniforms, masks, and covers on their shoes so that they didnt trek dirt/mud into the house. Robert gave me thorough honest information on the safety of my unit letting me know what issues it has and how I can resolve those issues. From the scheduling of my initial visit with them to the actual first service maintenance and to the actual installation of the new unit and inspection . He was very thorough and showed us detailed pictures of what potential challenges could arise by just trying to band aid the problem. He also informed us of the new regulations in California which would eventually hinder us from getting any service on or air conditioning unit as well. After some conversation and negotiating we moved forward with their service. Unfortunately, during the exchange of the units our floor was damaged. I am very grateful to Hayden and his crew for taking care of my mother’s problems with the sub standard out of service system that was in her Pulty Home at Del Web Woodbridge.
