Comment: Unquestionably the BEST home improvement experience I have ever had. From start to finish this team of caring professionals made the installation of a new roof stress free and even fun. From the helpful ladies in the office to my outstanding sales and field person, to the most amazing installation crew on the planet, it all went smooth and they always were responsive and made sure to communicate with me to assure that all my questions were answered. As to the installation, the work was way more thorough than I thought it would be. Because they stand behind their workmanship, they make sure it is done right from day one, and that any termite or rot issues are brought to your attention and repaired before installing the shingles. They use the best materials, and do not compromise on quality. The work was completed on time and I have never seen a crew more dedicated to their craft or work harder than these gentlemen. They were courteous, well spoken, and very careful to make sure nothing was damaged or left messy. This company is a straight up no nonsense winner, worth every penny of what they charge, and any wait time to get on the schedule. I now have the most beautiful roof ever, and would not hesitate to recommend Great Way to family, friends, or anyone.

Comment: We got five quotes and GreatWay Roofing was the ONLY roofer that included a certificate of insurance (including liability insurance), a list of references AND a checklist from the Contractors License Board of things to look for in a roofer. If any business gives you a list of things that every business in their industry should be doing that means they are doing it and others arent. GreatWay was by FAR the most professional of the five companies we got bids from. One bid was typed on NCR paper (I didnt typewriters still existed). They were responsive, have an office where we picked up a sample shingle AND they gave us a list of addresses of homes they had done where we could go see what the color shingles we choose look like on houses of similar color to ours. When it came time to do the job they showed up when they said they would, finished on time and did a great job. They were also helpful in that they educated us about various aspects of the roof so we could make informed decisions (like number and location of vents, Solaris vs basic shingles, etc). With all that they were the 2nd lowest bid. It was worth spending a little more for their profession. Ive already referred GreatWay to two other friends and one is already on their schedule for a new roof. Id like to thank Matt, Sean and Cindy and Dawn in the office for making this as painless as possible. The only way it could have been better is if they would have done it for free. :)

I obtained no fewer than five estimates when searching for a company to replace our roof. Each estimate gave insight into how each roofing company might operate. Matt at Greatway gave me the most confidence during his inspection and explanation of their process, while also providing a detailed and competitive estimate. Let’s just say the other companies didn’t instill the same level of confidence. From the start, Greatway’s team provided updates (including texts, pics, and videos) all along the way, from tearing off the old roof, to completion. Tony, the installation Leadman, was a pleasure to work with, his team was professional, and they left our property clean after each day of work. In comparison to a roof job we had done with another company, on another home a few years ago, the experience with Greatway was without a doubt and in every aspect, the best. He checked the roof to be certain it was only two tiles. After confirming only two tiles were broken, he offered to replace those two tiles immediately and at no charge. We had a really good experience with GreatWay and I had to letter others in the Santa Clarita Valley know.I interviewed four roofing companies in the Santa Clarita area, including GreatWay. Matt at GreatWay did a great job presenting me with information on the process, what we could expect, things to consider. He answered all questions I might have had. He also left me with a package that detailed everything that I would want to consider in making my decision, including dozens of recent references in the Santa Clarita area. On a side note, I suggested that we might need to have them replace some fascia board and he said, “not necessary, a little paint is all you need”. I appreciated that sincerity and it was refreshing. Matt left me with an overall good feeling about things though I expected that I might have to pay a premium. The next morning, I got my quote and was pleasantly surprised that GreatWay was more aggressive in their pricing than the others and it was an easy call to go with them.As far as the work goes. Things went exactly as Matt had planned. They communicated exceptionally from start to finish and delivered on all that Matt had promised. No surprises, as all went like clockwork. Comment: We worked with GreatWay Roofings Matt Saeger on our roofing project (Dec. 2021). We are incredibly happy with the result of our re-roofing (...our old roof was way past its design life). Matts no pressure, no salesman approach was exactly what we were looking for. He provided us a detailed breakdown of the projected cost of materials and the best and worst case scenarios of what steps they would take, depending on what they found underneath our old roof (e.g., wood rot and such). We worked out when we could have the roof done months in advance (...were a household of teachers, so timing around our break was necessary). He gave us updates on the weather outlook ahead of our project start date and worked out what scenarios could happen if inclement weather should interrupt the re-roofing. The crews that GreatWay Roofing sent out arrived on time, prepared the perimeter of the house for any debris, and across two days, removed the old roof from our single story, 1400 sq. ft. house, and laid the new roof. The crew was remarkably efficient and cleaned up the perimeter of the house. The new shingles look great!...Highly recommended professionals, all of them!

They came in and pulled the old off and put on a brand new shingle roof in less than 3 days from start to finish. They replaced any boards that had weather damage. From the time we signed the contract they kept in constant contact with us keeping us updated as we approached installation date. We had to wait a few months because they were very backed up but I was ok with this because Matt was very professional and genuine. He was very upfront with me about the pricing and transparent about the whole process.The crew was very professional and tidy. After the teardown of the old roof, the crew walked around my front yard and back yard picking up any little piece or screw left behind. They also covered my pool with plastic so nothing would get in it.This was a painless process and I am very happy with finished product. My roof looks amazing and I recommend GreatWay.

Comment: If you EVER need a roof, you can’t find a company with more integrity than Great Way Roof.They make the whole process feel like you are a part of their family. Their quote includes everything so no add-on surprises. In fact, it was so precise that they deducted at the end for supplies they didn’t use. When Direct tv came to see why My satellite dish wasn’t receiving a signal, they found it was placed too near a tree and had to move it. Great Way Matt said they will come and do all repairs necessary at the removal site. It took three days to complete and each day, all trash and debris was removed. Sorry this is so long but they were AWESOME.

We both agree that this roofing company should be a top priority for anyone wanting quality service and an excellent product. Comment: I am so glad I went with this company. From the bid to completion it was effortless on my end and they were very responsive. I worked specifically with Matt Saeger and he was very accommodating. They changed the install date from the original bid a few time but it was always earlier. In fact it ended up being installed about 2 months earlier! Matt always picked up the phone and always responds to emails in a reasonable time which seems to be a lost art these days. The day of my install it was forecasted to rain that night so they doubled up the crew and got the job done in one day...ONE DAY! Cant say enough good things about this company and Matt. Keep up the good work!

Comment: Greatway is excellent for a few reasons.1. The Crew - the Greatway team arrived on time, keeps a clean job site and communicated clearly on what was going on. In addition, these guys have solid craftsmanship and are detail oriented.2. Communication - 100% clear communication on pricing and schedule.3. Value - Greatway somehow is quicker and more affordable than the rest of the competition. In addition, the pricing was transparent and all inclusive vs. add-ons and change orders. What this means is they understand their trade, no surprises.4. Flexible - Due to the wet winter of 2019, we needed help quick! They did what they could to tarp our roof immediately until we could get scheduled.We have worked with a few different contractors and by far these guys are the best at what they do. Greatway had a fair price, and took care of everything including the permit. They called several times leading up to our construction date to answer any question and to keep us up to date. Comment: Two weeks ago I had my entire roof re-set by Greatway Roofing. They were very professional, informative and friendly from beginning to end. Their estimate was reasonably comparable to others I had received and they were quick to return my calls if I had any questions or concerns before, during and after the job was completed. The crew showed up every day at 7:30AM and left every afternoon by 4:00PM to ensure that we were not bothered by the noise once we returned home from work. The entire project took less than 3 days and every day before they left my house, they made sure that all debris (nails, wood, dust, etc) was completely cleaned around the perimeter of my house. The roof looks great and I now look forward to upcoming heavy rains!

Comment: I called a number of companies about redoing my old (1990s) roof. Matt at Great Way was by far the most professional, friendly and down to earth person I spoke to. The price he quoted me seemed reasonable – his wasnt the lowest bid I received, but it definitely wasnt the highest. The work done seems extremely professional – and I think my roof and whole house looks great. The crew was friendly, polite, and cleaned up thoroughly. All in all, I had to get a new roof, and Great Way really went above and beyond – and made us very happy.
