Comment: Our duplex was built in 1958, and the roof was showing its wear. We had leaks in several significant places, most notably water into a light fixture, and staining our new carpets. After checking with several local roofing companies, we chose Felix Roofing, Inc. Other roofers gave us a good quote for our flat roof, but no provisions to build a modest pitch, which is what we needed.Owner Terry Felix inspected our roof, and outlined a more comprehensive plan which would protect our roof for many years, and also be energy-efficient. The cost was very reasonable, and took only 4 days.The first day they worked, they removed 3 old roofs(!). Then they replaced the boards that had dry rot, removed all of the old sheet metal flashing, and replaced that; installed all-new aluminum seamless gutters and down spouts; installed 2x4 sleepers on the middle of the roof, which sloped down one other side, to prevent ponding water; installed tech insulation over the plywood, and refined the sleeper with CDX, and then covered all of that sealing everything with insulating with PVC cool roof system = we have a NEW ROOF!We are VERY HAPPY with our new roof. Terry Felix is an artist and a perfectionist - After all, he said: my name is on it!

His crew wore masks the entire time!My large flat roof was in need of proper drainage and the fascia was in poor condition. Terrys crew designed a sophisticated arrangement of sleepers, found and fixed a lot of hidden dry rot damage, replaced all of the fascia, added gutters and downspouts, plus installed two new tubular skylights!My roof is now better than ever. Felix Roofing produced a truly top quality result!

Came to evaluate situation and went ABOVE and BEYOND what would be expected on an inspection on a repair, not a complete roofing project. Although they will not be your lowest quote, be grateful for that, because that means, they show up as if punctuality was a competition, bonded, insured, OSHA safe, quality work that won’t need to be redone, all equals a better value than a low quote! Wonderful company- wonderful work!

Comment: We had a leak that two other roofers claimed they had diagnosed and fixed but Felix Roofing was the only one to adequately troubleshoot the issue (old, poorly installed membrane under the roofing tile) and fix the problem. We wished we had contacted them first. The work was done in a timely manner and the price was competitive. I highly recommend them.

Comment: Felix Roofing re-roofed my house and garage roofs in San Mateo. After many years with a tar and gravel roof, I was encouraged to switch to TPO roofing material. Its so light, it made sense to go over the old roofing, saving work, expense and environmentally hazardous waste. Terry, the owner, suggested that and I confirmed it as a sound option with some research. It took awhile to set up the job (which was a little stressful and the reason for not hitting the fifth star), but once they committed to a date, the job was done safely, efficiently and completely within two days. Its been almost a year and I am 100% satisfied. I selected Felix from a half dozen companies as I favor owner-operators and his price was the best.

Comment: Felix had to come the the condo complex several times because some of the residence did not believe what I was tell them about coating the roof and not replace it. He had the patience to explain it to non technical people.He was always on time to the appointments, they did a great job by re coating the roof with this latest ruberized coating and saved us thousands by do the right thing.When it came to the doing the job, they did exactly what they said, on schedule, cleaned up and it looks great.If I had another roof to do, I would not even call anyone else. Real nice guy to deal with, pleasant, and very professional.
