Comment: José and project foreman Gabriel were simply outstanding at every step of the process for our danville California home. José was helpful and guided us to make sure that we did things like select the correct roof color, replace facia boards that had dry rot and the like that needed to be done and Gabriel was able to ensure the job was done beautifully and when questions came up he was more than very helpful to decide how best to proceed.At every step of the process Dependable Roof went above and beyond!It was great that they cleaned up after every day… They were here five days!This is the go to company for a new roof, gutter work, facia board replacement, roof ridge line venting and a positive can-do attitude… They want to make the customer happy! They succeeded!

Comment: Great job, reasonable price, owner and crew are informed, courteous and clean.Roof replacement, strip existing composition and install new roofing, vent flashings, gutters, downspouts, repair rot as needed.I give my highest recommendation to Dependable Roofing; good price, workmanship and the crew is very clean for such a dirty job. They tarped the garage on the inside so debris was well contained and cleaned up after themselves inside and outside more than once a day so no debris was left behind.I got four bids for my roof from a weekend roofer to the biggest company in the Tri-Valley area, Dependable came in right in the middle. I also looked up internet reviews on Yelp, Build Zoom and Better Business Bureau, here Dependable was at the top in all cases.Jose came out and did the bid; he was very knowledgeable, not pushy and took a lot of time helping me choose between quality of the shingles and colors as well as the downspouts.The job was scheduled for about 3 weeks in advance, a crew came by the first day to begin stripping and continued the next day, they took out a lot of rotted wood under the eves and replaced a few rafter tails, then they put down #30 felt as an underlayment and then installed GAF composite shingles, seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts and new roof vent pipe flashings which they painted. I also had a ridge vent installed to help remove the hot air during the summer.After they completed the roof I took a good look around, no nails were protruding from under my eves, the replaced rotted wood was color matched to the paint of the house and the trim even so everything they replaced was freshly painted. The shingles line up as they should (no waviness) and as mentioned the yard was super clean.The roof has a warranty and Dependable Roofing has their own warranty as well, they have been doing business here in the area for a long time so if something would come up I would feel comfortable contacting them in the future.Getting a roof is a big expense so I took a lot of time getting bids and reviewing information, I am very pleased with the workmanship, the product and the contractor as well as the crew. I believe you will be happy as well.Note 1) If you’re having your roof replaced, it is a dirty, messy job so you should reasonably expect to have to clean up some small amount residual materials, especially if you have a skip roof like mine, 1x6 slats. Expect to find a stray nail or two and some debris on garage ceiling joists; this is again normal for having construction work performed and not a negativeNote 2) I had my roof replaced in January of 2018, I waited until now July 2020 just to have the roof go through a couple Winter seasons of rain before writing this review to make sure everything was ok and it is.TL;DR Dependable Roofing did a great job on my roof replacement at a fair price, 5 stars. If you still arent sure who to go with yet, go with Dependable Roofing and you wont be disappointed.

I interviewed five firms who had done work in the area and settled on Dependable due to the recommendation of a well respected local contractor, Alex Matthews. While making my decision, I spoke to several of my neighbors who recently reroofed their homes and learned about the little things that other roofers failed to do. Dependable exceeded my expectations. The team was great. They cleaned up around the house at the end of every day and their attention to detail (where others had complaints) was outstanding. They found some areas of dry rot and repaired them as part of the process. And they were priced reasonably providing great value.
