After a few months of heartache trying to find some help (no shows, no call backs, absurd quotes, etc.) we lucked out when Idan Arbiv showed up at our door.Idan and his team were very professional, informative, and helpful throughout our whole exterior renovation. Comment: Citywide Roofing and RemodelWell, overall they did a great job I needed a new roof badly and wanted to do Solar at the same time. I was putting it off forever but I started to get leaks and just couldn’t put it off any longer. I have a friend that sells solar too but I had some special request on the roof that I wanted to extend some eves on my dormers and his company would not do it.In other remodel jobs I’ve done most have gone reasonably well but I’ve had a couple of real nightmares too. So when I meet with CityWide, 2 salespeople came in, Ben and Shay. They were both cordial and funny. Ben was the Israeli version of Vennie Barbarino in Welcome Back, Kotter and Shay was the Israeli version of Vin Diesel in the Fast and Furious movie. They were professional without being boring. They presented well and were ready to go. They had no problem at all with the eves extension. And I felt a little obligated after my crazy Dalmation ate Shay’s shoe so I went for it. Price wise they were in the ballpark but definitely not the cheapest.The work had to be done between the rains and they finished the roof quickly before all the atmospheric rivers arrived. There was some confusion about what I wanted for crickets on my Chimneys and leaf filters on my gutters but they promptly came back and corrected my concerns. Ben was very good to get these items taken care of. I also need to mention Rene, she was also very instrumental in correcting these small differences promptly. Rene is the one that deals with all the financials and scheduling. She was very patient and always pleasant when dealing with her.Overall the big question is would I work with them again and would I recommend them to a friend. The answer is yes and yes. I am very happy with the outcome of my job. The solar panels and shingles have stayed on through all the hurricane-force wind gusts we have had lately. And no leaks. I feel that these folks are really concerned about getting the job done how the customer wants and will bend over backward to please their customer. I feel that is a rare find in todays world of contractors.I thank the lot of you at Citywide for getting the job done and done well.

Comment: Working with Ben Strashko with Citywide Roofing and Remodeling Inc. was the smartest thing Ive done to bring my home from the worst house on the block to one of the most beautiful. It is not completed yet, but some of my neighbors have stopped and have commented on the beautiful paint job and the forms that have been put in place to create a new front walk and front porch courtyard.They started with the demolition of a dilapidated pergola and house painting. They were so professional, timely, and responsive that my husband and I couldnt help but get them to help transform my front and backyard landscaping. They have built raised beds, installed a concrete front walk, and poured a new slab to create a porch courtyard. I cant wait to have the remaining decomposition granite, California Gold Granite, Sod, Artificial Grass, and plants installed and become the envy of the neighborhood. The job was completed in less than 2 months from the start of demolition to completion. This included tiling the whole bath from floor to ceiling, installing a new shower and toilet, and installing new faucets. The workmen were punctual, polite, and very neat, cleaning up at the end of the day so as not to interfere with the used of the bedroom at night. They did a great job on time and within budget without being intrusive.

Comment: I am a review enthusiast. I make 99% of my decisions based on reviews. Despite the 1 poor review this company has, I called to speak to them. I only work with professional licensed and insured contractors for all my home projects, and after reading the reviews of CityWide Roofing I decided to give them a try. I called for my free estimate and they asked me more questions than I thought I needed to answer, but in the end it only made me feel more comfortable that I would get an estimate that later on wont turn into a down payment! You know how lots of companies give you an estimate and later on theyre... well, you need to change this too, and that is broken, and we need to do this and that and you end up with a crazy amount you have to pay. Once theyve started working on your roof, what can you do? They explained to me why they were asking those questions in a very patient and informative way and now I completely understand what roofing companies have to do to make an appointment with a customer and how difficult it is to give a free estimate. I thought my roof was too old (and leaking!) and needed to be replaced. Lee suggested the most cost efficient solution which was to repair instead of change the complete roof. The other two companies I called (to get a second and third opinion) told me they cannot fix the leak and I needed to replace the whole roof. Im happy I gave CityWide Roofing a chance despite the one bad review (which made perfect sense.. if you have a flat roof it can leak much more than a slanted roof). They were very aware of the safety precautions that needed to take place during the pandemic and I felt very safe with them around. They were also very clean and didnt leave a mess which I was very happy about. They wore masks and kept their distance. Thank you for that. And thank you for such a great job on my roof. I am very pleased and sad that I only have one roof that needed to be fixed. If ever I find I need more roofing done, I will certainly call CityWife Roofing. You should too. Thank you Lee!

However, what makes this company different is the presentation on different financing options.Unfortunately I do not have all the funds to pay cash for this project and I wanted to be straight forward and honest about that. The company told me it wouldn’t be a problem and will help me find other ways to be able to work on this project.Once the team comes and we discuss a price we can agree on, the company introduced me to a program that strives for energy efficiency which would actually qualify me to work with them on financing.After getting our approval on financing and signing the contract, no time was wasted and we got to work immediately! The office team called the same time and helped schedule people to come measure the roof and the windows and discuss in further details exactly what I was trying to achieve. Come to find out Jacob & Avi who came out informed me my roof was 3 layers and was pretty much on its last legs. They gave me a price I couldn’t say no to they did the work in 1 week and got rid of all the garbage on my drive way. My family and I are very pleased with all the hard work. Comment: Very happy with our roof! Had five different quotes from five different roofing companies. I decided to go with Citywide Roofing. Their quote was very fair, and compared to the other companies it fell right in the middle. We decided to hire them because of their customer service and how patient they were with explaining everything to us. Avi and his team were absolutely wonderful. Avi gave us a few options of what we can do to fix our roof. He provided me with samples of the tiles when I requested them. He was always responsive when I called, left a message or even texted him. After giving our deposit, tiles were ordered and received within 2-3 days. He really listened to our input. Never felt pressured at all. His team was very professional and hard working. They replaced any existing damaged wood, lined our roof, and installed the type of tiles of our choice.

Comment: Avi was absolutely wonderful. He was very considerate of my schedule and worked around it so that we could find a good time for him to stop by. I told him so many times (almost being annoying) that I didn’t want to alter the look of the house so much, but the flat roof had created some problems in the past. It caused many leaks and actually Avi was able to identify that there were patches from the inside of the house (from the leaks) just from inspecting the outside of the roof. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Comment: I just want to start off by saying that I had an outstanding experience working with Citywide Roofing. Out of the 5 companies that I called, they provided the best customer service and their prices were competitive. We started calling roofing companies and were not satisfied by how the first phone call went, and first impressions are everything. Citywide was the only company that stood out due to their customer service.They came out, inspected the roof, did the work (finished in 3 days) and overall were just so great to work with. Avi and his crew were so personable and they really care about the work that they do. Amazing professionalism throughout. I appreciated that they took the time to answer all of my questions and go over some things I didnt quite understand. This process can be intimidating if you don’t know much about roof replacements, but thats not the case with Citywide Roofing.I cannot begin to explain how much better the house looks! It is a tremendous difference! Thank you Citywide, Avi and his outstanding team that made this happen so smoothly. We appreciate the work that you do!!

Comment: Had the most wonderful experience with Citywide Roofing. Out of the three companies I had come out and give us an estimate, I was by far the most impressed with them. Avi was both knowledgeable and trustworthy, something that isnt always the case with contractors. We had our entire roof replaced so it was no cheap job. Their pricing was reasonable and we couldnt be happier with the results.

Comment: After searching through many channels for a professional roofer, I finally came across Citywide Roofing. I had various shingles that were cracked and the entire roof was aging. We decided to reroof our home. It was a big project but Avi and his team made it seamless and kept it within our budget. The entire project took around 2 weeks due to the rain. His team kept the property clean and tidy after every work day. I highly recommend citywide if you’re looking for a great roofing company.

Comment: I recently closed on my new (old) house in Studio City in August and by the time I realized I needed a section of roof replaced, It was too late to schedule a consultation last minute because of the rain season. I chose Citywide based on their amazing Yelp reviews. I am so thankful that I found this company!When I called I told them a portion of my roof is leaking and I need to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. They did not have an availability for me that week unfortunately, but they sent one of their guys over to cover up my leaky roof with a bomb proof tarp so that my house would be protected while waiting for them to be able to schedule me. I never encountered a company who does that for their customers! When they were finally able to replace the roof it was done with the utmost care and respect for my property. From beginning to end, every person I dealt with was eager to please, professional and respectful. They took care of me before, during, and even after the job was completed making sure I was a satisfied customer, and I am!  Thank you, Avi and Citywide Roofing!
