Comment: Outstanding work! Leo was helpful in determining what roof materials we needed and Juan and his crew competed the work in 3 days and promised to leave our property clean after each day of removal and installation which they did. The communication with Leo, the sales representative and Juan, the foreman on the job was clear, correct and complete. We were not looking forward to having this work done on our house due to the close proximity to our neigbors and were very pleased that it was such a pleasant experince.

Comment: *Latest Update* Juan was able to work with me to make it right. He really does take ownership of his work.*Unfortunately it has been about 6 months and there is a turn for the worse. I tried contacting the company when I noticed that the ridge vents were not properly installed to allow air flow. Basically there is supposed to be a cut into the wood below the vent to allow the air to flow out, but that was not done.Despite multiple pictures and attempts to reach out to the company, they would not take any action. This has been a very poor experience and I am forced to revise my rating.*Certified Roofing Specialists did a full re-roofing of my single story home in Cerritos.They offered me a competitive rate, but the best part was meeting Juan. Juan is the team leader for the roofing work and is the kind of person you want working on your home. He takes pride in not only his team, but in the work that they do. You cant put money on someone who takes pride in their work. That is wonderful and confidence inspiring. Throughout the roofing process. He would take time to explain and walk me through questions/options that we had for our roof. He is always transparent and it is clear that he cares about the product he is delivering.I look forward to this roof lasting me many years into the future and will would definitely work with this company again especially if they can make sure to bring Juan back to lead the work!I was also able to meet with the owner Jose I appreciate his business mindset and openness to negotiate on the final price.I cant recommend this company enough. The people and their work make the difference! If youve ever had to deal with a bad roof/shoddy workmanship, youll know why Im emphasizing and why it is so important!If youve made it this far, I highly encourage you to give this company a shot and ask for Juan to lead your roofing work!

Comment: CRS is a Platinum Preferred Contractor for Owens Corning so they are able to offer a complete system that is backed by Owens Corning for 50 years including materials and labor/workmanship. I expected their quote to come out above other installers but to my surprise was still very competitive. I cross-referenced all of the proposals we received to ensure I didnt miss anything and if anything, CRS was one of the most complete. We passed our inspections with zero negative feedback from the inspectors and even a It looks good! at the final for the full job (first inspection was for sheathing and having the materials on-site).Do yourself a favor and have Certified Roofing Specialists take a look at your roof and/or solar project. Although we did not move forward with them for solar, it is rare to have a local team that can handle both and for such a reasonable price structure!

Comment: Certified Roofing Specialists installed a new roof and solar on my home in 2019. Did a beautiful job at a great price. Just recently I had an issue with the solar. Omar showed up a day early with his crew and quickly took care of the issue. If only every contractor I use was like that. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Comment: Certified Roofing Specialist were great. They completed my roof replacement in 4 days instead of the 7 days they estimated. Also, added gutters around the whole house within a few hours, so fast!Their workers are fast and their craftsmanship was excellent. Jose and his team were punctual and responded to my calls/text right away. If I had any questions or concerns, Jose and Jesus would always be there to answer them. Would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Comment: This roofing firm is, without question, one of the best roofing companies in all of Southern California! They just finished installing new roofs on all 90+ homes in our HOA. The crews workmanship has been first rate and they honestly care about the customers needs. Ive been on my HOA board for close to 30 years now. Obviously, Ive delt with many vendors over the years. Certified has been one of, if not, the best company Ive ever worked with! Replacing 91 roofs is a huge project and they did a great job under budget and under time! Most importantly, they honestly want the customer to be completely satisfied!Id never even heard of this company before interviewing the many roofers we checked out during the bidding process. However, after talking to several former Certified customers, it became very clear these guys were the cream of the crop! Everyone I talked with loved them and the work they did. Thank you to all the Certified employees that recently helped replace our HOAs roofs. You guys made the entire project a pleasure!!!

Comment: Certified Roofing Specialists are professional, efficient and friendly from start to finish. Their proposal and contract was more thorough and detailed than any others received. They outline in detail all of the steps and exactly what products are used to ensure a valid manufacture warranty.Heartache free for the homeowner as they take care of permits.While waiting for permits (delayed due to covid) we had unexpected rain. With one phone call a crew immediately came to protect our home from water damage due to our old leaking roof.I have struggled to find good contractors in Orange County - Certified Roofing Specialists is proof excellent contractors DO exist in this county.

Comment: We reviewed 5 proposals before deciding to go with Certified Roofing Specialists due to the thoroughness of their proposal and very fair and competitive pricing. The decision was also reinforced by my neighbor who was happy with his new roof and couldnt recommend them enough. From start to beginning, they were very professional and friendly. The project manager, Kevin, was very attentive and helped me navigate getting permit from my HOA. He addressed all my questions and needs and always provided solutions and options. The crew foreman Jesus was also a pleasure to work with as he kept his crew professional and efficient. As I was watching them install the roof, I was mesmerized by their efficiency and confidence in what they were doing. You can tell that each member of the crew had lots of experience installing roof as a team. Im very happy with the result and would recommend Certified Roofing to any neighbors or friends looking to fix/replace their roof.

Comment: I received bids from three roofing contractors before going with Certified Roofing Specialists. They had the best price, warranty, and took care of the permit and inspections. But most importantly, I felt they were honest and upfront, and they answered any questions I had. The actual process was seamless. We lucked out as they had two crews available the first day, and completed the entire re-roof in two days. The area around the house was left clean after each day. It really was amazing watching how hard these guys worked, and how thorough they were. I was also asked before they left if I had any questions or concerns. Throughout the entire process I felt like they genuinely wanted to make sure I was pleased with their work, and I couldnt be happier. Everyone I spoke with at this company was friendly and professional. I definitely recommend them.

Comment: Frank, Jose and their team did an excellent job re-roofing our 2-story house (with a very steep roof line!) in Huntington Beach. The job was done in August 2019. They were very professional and responsive with the quote & proposal and provided us with lots of information and options. The work was performed very meticulously--not only the demo of old roof & re-roofing but also the installation/painting of new rafters and Shiplap. Not a single nail was found on our grounds after they completed the job, and they were very careful with our property and landscaping. Their price was also the lowest among the 3 companies I received bids from. We highly recommend them!

Comment: I had to get my roof repaired due to water damage and after researching roofers on Yelp I decided to give these guys a try. Joe came out to the property and did a very thorough inspection of the ceiling and roof. He gave me a very reasonable quote and explained to me step by step what needed to get done. Once the dispatcher locked down a date for work to begin, Pablo and his team showed up and started on time. The work ethic of this team is by far the best Ive seen in a long time! Not only are they honest and hardworking but extremely friendly and personable. I definitely recommend Certified Roofing Specialists for all your roof repairs and replacement needs. Comment: Excellent roofing contractor. Had a leak where the chimney meets the roofline during the epic rains (winter 2019) we received this year. I think I got ahead of the curve slightly as the rains were huge this year for SOCAL and every roofing company in the area was insanely busy, booked for weeks just for quotes. I think the heavy rains this year finally exposed some preexisting issues that normally dont surface during drought times. They came out fairly quickly to provide an estimate which I appreciated. I inspected the roof myself prior to their arrival best I could and they reviewed also and gave me a reasonable estimate which I compared to a couple other roofing contractors. Certified Roofing Specialists removed several rows of tiles, resealed the main problem area around the chimney, replaced underlayment, and also resealed some of the roof vents (ie: kitchen/microwave, vented bathroom, etc) and also replaced some broken Spanish tiles I noticed also on my personal inspection. The proof was in the pudding literally a couple days later when it rained heavily again and my roof didnt leak. Im glad I pulled the trigger and had them come out during what happened to be a brief window of sunshine. I wish I wouldve have them inpect earlier. Jesus and his work crew were very good and I appreciated their efforts. Highly recommend and will definitely use in the future. These guys really know roofing and have decades of experience...I believe they did some of the original work in this particular housing track decades ago.

Comment: Needed our roof replaced prior to installing a new solar panel system. We met with and received bids from several roofing contractors. We went with Certified Roofing Specialists because they were the most thorough in discussing our needs and alternative recommendations. Their bid was the lowest and that included upgrades that the other contractors did not. Jose Olivares and his crews were extremely professional, timely and cleaned-up at the end of every work day. We did not have a single complaint from the start to the finished product. We are absolutely satisfied with our new roof and highly recommended them to others.
