Comment: I live in Torrance and have a Mansard Roof which is basically a flat roof. Not many roofing companies deal with flat roofs but Ed from Bonded Roofing came out in March and gave me a fair estimate to fix a portion of our roof which had several leaks due to all the rain. They were very busy because of the rain, but I was happy to get it done in 3 months. They came out on 06-12-23 and fixed my roof - they had to use the hot mop and tar and roof gravel since it is a flat roof. The roof looks great, and I dont anticipate any future problems.

Comment: This review is long overdue. We had an issue with our roof back in late December when it rained like crazy to the point where our drywall caved in the corner of our living room with our old roof (a nightmare!). It was literally raining in our living room, during the holidays, at night... talk about bad timing. Larry was the only person that came out in the pouring rain and personally tarped the roof himself before clearing his busy schedule to ensure that wed have a new roof. I would not hesitate to recommend Bonded roofing to friends that need work done.

Comment: Bonded Roofing is a solid company. They were recommended to me by my solar contractor and Im so glad I went with them. The owner and his team did a fantastic job on my 30,000 square feet commercial building. The project was challenging since we needed to coordinate three objectives: redoing the roof, replacing platforms for freezing and cooling units and removing skylights to free up space for solar panels. The crew lead by Ed got moving fast starting from day one. They arrived at the break of morning and hauled into the evening. For two weeks they demoed, repaired, replaced and lastly, reroofed. The results-a clean brand new roof. I write this on December 28, 2020, where southern California was hit with a big storm and theres not a leak in the building. Job well done, Bonded Roofing. These guys are top notch. Couldnt ask for more, wouldnt go anywhere else.

Comment: I was referred to Bonded Roofing by a general contractor associated with my husband. Bonded Roofing, owned by Gene Layton, and whose Field Supervisor is Ed, for some reason keeps saying they do not employ Mike. I called the number of the company owned by Gene Layton, and the salesman I met is Michael Franco (business card uploaded). He introduces himself as, Mike. Mike took my deposit. Mike brought sample shingles. Mike handled my questions.I did get a re-roof on my residential property. I interviewed around fifteen roofing companies. At the end of a long process of taking bids, this one had the lowest by thousands of dollars. I trusted the referral because my husband trusted the judgement of his friend in the general contracting business.My roof was done with a permit, and my city inspector came after the tear down and again after the shingles were installed. He signed the permit off both times without hesitation.One star deduction is for the fact that the shingles my husband selected were out of stock, and hubby was disturbed that I had to select an alternate only after the roof was down to its decking (pictured), leaving me with a sense of urgency to make a choice without my hubby to chime in.Also, we were told it would be about 3 or 4 days to complete, but waiting for the final permit was more time, and the clean up is still not finished. We are at day 27 from the start of tear off. We paid in full after the inspection permit was signed off, but some residue was left all around the perimeter of the roof on our cement walkways and the cement driveway. The German Shepherd was photographed before the roof was replaced, and it shows the cement was not stained before Bonded Roofing replaced my roof.We purchased a new canopy because the contract stated that our A/C unit was OUR responsibility to protect. A new A/C unit sits below the roof, and we are so glad we covered it because the same residue on the cement is all over the new blue canopy (pictured).Mike said he would send someone to clean that up. I will add to my post with after pictures when Bonded Roofing gets it cleaned up.On December 26, 2019, it rained. We could hear the rain trickling down inside the load bearing interior wall of our living room. Ed showed up that day and fixed the flashing or whatever it was that was wrong. Hopefully, the roof will not leak again because we contracted with this roofer for a new roof in July, 2019 to stop a leak in another part of the house, not where this new leak started after the new roof was just installed.

Comment: Bonded Roofing came in and took care of all of my parents needed repairs and upgrades on their newly purchased older home, including a new roof and all the vents that the home needed. They worked closely with them to find any other tasks that needed to get done to make their home ready for summer comfort, and it has been a complete success. Due to their professionalism, they got much more done than we thought we would be able to. I would be glad to have them take on any other large project that we might have.

Comment: Bonded Roofing just finished putting a roof on a commercial building for me and they did an excellent job. I had some low spots that always left a pond on the roof after a rain which would eventually leak. Gene came up with a solution by building up these areas so the water drains. The price was good and his crew got the job done very quickly.

Comment: Very impressed with their timely work! The supervisor would always answer whenever I called him and answer my questions appropriately. The roof was completely removed in one day and installed in another. The onsite workers were very professional and cleaned all the debris before leaving. Will definitely recommend to my friends and fameily !
