Comment: When I bought my home I hired Blue Sky to take a look at my roof and do any necessary repairs. They offered a 5 year guarantee on my roof, which was fabulous. Fast forward a few years later, and we had a crazy multi-day storm with lots of wind, during which my ceiling began leaking! I called Blue Sky first thing the next morning and they came out *that day* to fix my roof. It turned out a few shingles had blown off, but the roof is still in good condition. Not only are they professional and courteous, Im so impressed with how they honored their guarantee! I will absolutely be calling them first when its finally time to replace the roof.

Comment: I have to say that dealing with Mark and Scott was a very pleasant experience. They were knowledgeable, and helpful. We had a bad leak at my job and I called and they were out within the hour to help mitigate the damage. They explained everything clearly and I fully understood what was happening and had been done. Comment: Blue Sky Roofing is the best business experience we’ve had since moving to Humboldt County. We were scheduled with another company for a roof replacement but it would have been 13-15 months out. Blue Sky got us an inspection and a new roof within 2 months of the initial phone call. Even moved us up the line when another job was delayed. The crew was professional and did an amazing job of cleaning up. Great communication throughout and we plan on using them again for our garage. Highly recommended!

Comment: Due to the size of our commercial roof and the need for dry weather to properly prep the existing roof before applying a silicone coating, the job could not be scheduled until late April 2021. The Blue Sky crew began the job as scheduled and spent the initial three days cleaning and prepping the roof surface. They spent the next four days applying the silicone coating and repairing a section of roof that had not been fully constructed by a previous contractor. The roofing crew was always on-time, friendly, thorough with their work, and maintained a clean workspace!! Our nonprofit has occupied this building for 40-years and the silicone coating is warrantied for 20-years. Our organization is very pleased with Blue Sky Roofers!!!

Comment: Absolutely incredible roofing crew. Polite, clean, efficient. I was impressed with the organization of materials and the immaculate cleaning once the roof was on. They have excellent safety measures and promptly began at 8am everyday. We were amazed the entire roof took 3 days, just as they estimated. We couldn’t be happier. Comment: It was a pleasure doing business with this company. The owners are very nice and so was the crew. I had gotten 6 different quotes and they were also the best price and the roof looks great. Comment: Absolutely on the job. I didnt even bother calling anyone else. Had asked my spouse to pick 3 roofers from the yellow pages and hit on Blue Sky. Fast estimate and gave a realistic forecast on start date, which ended up coming much earlier than original time period. In and out, or on and off really, very quickly and efficiently. Roof looks goods, although it hasnt been rain tested yet. This was preventative care and I feel assured that any future attention that might be needed will be attended to well. Comment: Our first roof project with Blue Sky Roofers was the de-mossing of our 3-story home. Mark came over to discuss our roof and the process that his company uses. I really learned a lot about moss and why it is not good to power wash with water.The next project was the roof replacement of a house we own in Eureka. Mark explained the process of removing the old roof, checking for damage, and then installing the new roof. His estimate was very reasonable, and his time frame worked well. We scheduled 3 days in July. The crew was on time and completed the job just over 2 days.Mark, his crew, and the quality of work led to the 3rd project - de-mossing and repairing ceiling damage of one of our rentals in Arcata. Once again, we were very satisfied with the quality of work and the friendliness of the crew.Blue Sky Roofers is a great company to work with, especially if you have several roof projects to complete. Comment: Mark is a real professional, with a neighborly manner.Through his Clear-sighted Inspections business, Mark performed the home inspection on the house we were moving to in Eureka. With the inspection, which accurately noted the age and condition of the built-up gravel & asphalt roof, he also included a quote for the roofing, through his Blue Sky Roofer business.After we closed escrow and moved in, I contacted Mark right away to start the process of accepting his bid and getting the job added to the schedule. The hardest part was just waiting for the weather to finally cooperate.The first day, he had his entire crew out, and they made amazingly efficient work of the task of scraping all the old gravel - and decades of moss and grass - off the roof to haul it away. The next two days, the crew was progressively smaller, as fewer hands were needed for the remaining work.In three days the job was completed, leaving a swept driveway and no trash or leftovers anywhere. Great work from a great team. And a beautiful rooftop now.I also owe kudos to Laurene, who was very accommodating as we ran into a a delay in getting our cashiers check sent from the bank to pay the balance when the job was done.If I ever have another roof to do, Ill call Blue Sky again. Would recommend!

It was a big job, with multiple layers of old roof materials to be removed, resheeting needed, and all on a steep-pitched roof! The finished work looks amazing and the crew left the property clean! Working with Mark was easy! Great communication and quick response time! The price was definitely reasonable for the project, and a little less than some of the bigger companies. And, as a bonus, he was able to get to it several months before the other companies we talked to! I would highly recommend Mark and his roofing team!
