Comment: We used AP Remodeling to convert our garage into an ADU. Aviv (contractor / owner) was very fair and transparent with pricing, and was able to give us an itemized quote before starting work. He didn’t veer from the original quote and there were no surprise charges or changes like you hear stories about with other contractors. His pricing was much more reasonable than any other quote we got.Overall Aviv and his PM Josue were very responsive and reliable. The workers were punctual, respectful, trustworthy and clean. Very happy with their work and the way they conduct business.

Comment: It was great working with AP. They helped us build an ADU attached to our garage. I’m quite happy with the results. Aviv and team are very responsive and always patient with my questions. I have worked with different contractors in the past with different remodeling projects. AP is the best i’ve worked with. Sure there were issues here and there as with all remodeling work but what stood out about them was they were always willing to fix it. Was this completely hands off for me? No, but I don’t think hands off remodeling exists unless you are willing to pay the money for someone to do that for you. Overall though they were great to work with. Even after the project, they are willing to come out to fix things for me which is really great and helpful.

Comment: UPDATED REVIEWI wanted to add something to this review that I believe everyone should take into account when choosing a contractor. This month, I noticed a very small exterior problem with our new adu. Nothing major but something I wanted to check out since it was a big construction project. I sent AP remodeling a note, assuming that they would not pay much attention to it since the project was completed months ago. Not only did they respond quickly they actually sent out someone to take care of the issue, and did it quickly and for free. This is a project that finished months ago, and for them to respond so quickly and effectively is something that says a lot about the company they are. I implore anyone who is thinking do doing a project to take a look at them. Not only did everything in my initial review happen, but they stand behind their work for the long haul. I am extremely impressed by that, and would be willing to speak with anyone who is interested in working with them. 5 stars at the start and 5 stars for their continued support.We recently converted our garage into an ADU and used AP remodeling after getting a few different quotes. We could not be happier with the results. A few main things stand out for us.1. Their workers were always incredibly friendly, and took care of any issues that popped up. They took care to not disturb our neighbors and us living inside the house.2. They were responsive to any changes we requested and add ons we had, but didn’t try to push a bunch of extras on us once ground was broken.3. Most importantly, they finished AHEAD of schedule. While not trying to jam a bunch of things in at the end, they ended up finishing early and we couldn’t be happier. And they are still responsive to coming back if we notice any small things that pop up. They usually have someone there to fix the issue within a day.All told the entire project was much easier than we thought it would be and would recommend AP Remodeling to anyone. They might not be the cheapest option you find, but it’s worth it to have peace of mind that the people doing the work will respond and listen to issues that arise.

Aviv was able to meet with us on relatively short notice and go over the scope of the project. During the walkthrough, Aviv clearly demonstrated his experience and gave us good suggestions. The estimate we received was thorough for a ballpark estimate and the pricing was fair. Unfortunately we couldnt make it work due to some misalignment with budget and project timing, but this isnt a negative mark on AP Remodeling in any way. I would definitely consider Aviv and AP Remodeling for potential projects in the future.

Comment: We had our primary bathroom remodeled with AP Remodeling. We started discussing plans with Aviv in January. The planning process was very organized and detailed and our questions were answered promptly. Aviv was able to fit us into their schedule since we wanted to start as soon as possible. We started construction in late February and completed renovation in mid-April which was longer than we initially planned however in the end, we are very happy with our bathroom.Everyone on the team is professional and holds themselves to a high standard. Mai, the designer, was amazing to work with. She was so quick to understand our style and was an immense help in sourcing all the pieces. Josue the project manager is always attentive. Towards the end of the project, he noticed our water pressure was low, and though it was unrelated to the renovation, took initiative to help us determine the source of the issue and fix it. Armando, the foreman as well as all the other craftsmen on the project did produced quality work. I appreciated the WhatsApp channel they had setup for us, and the weekly schedule that was shared the Friday before each week. It made communication very easy. If there was ever a hiccup, it was promptly addressed. Thank you to the AP Remodeling Team!

Comment: We just completed a kitchen with Aviv and his crew and we can’t express how thrilled we are with the results. Our main goal was to find a reasonably priced contractor that made us feel comfortable and could help us with our vision. We had a closed off floor plan really wanted our kitchen to open up to the living room. That being said, Aviv came in and presented 3 different ideas and 3-D designs that we could go with. After 3 meetings we felt the most comfortable with Aviv and his company and decided to go with one of his designs. We could not be happier with our decision and the outcome of our kitchen. Once we save up we will definitely hire Preferred again to finish the rest of the house.

Comment: We did a complete bathroom remodel using AP. We couldnt be happier with the process or the result. Some of the things we loved about AP: 1) The project was finished on time and on budget. 2) Every morning the project manager came to check on progress and update us on what would happen that day. 3). Every Friday wed get an email giving us a day by day description of what would be done the next week. 4). The quality of the different trades people used on the project was outstanding: plumbers, electricians, tile work, etc. all did great work. 5). Since we were at home mostly during the project, they closed the bathroom door each day to minimize noise and dust. It got hot in there Im sure but our comfort was their utmost priority. 6). The owner of the company (Aviv) often came by and was always a phone call away. 7) The guys cleaned up assiduously each day and thats something we always look for 8). We had access to a designer who helped up pick out materials and got us trade discounts on most items. 9) The project passed numerous inspections with flying colors. I could go on but you get the idea....AP Remodeling was the best home project experience weve ever had!

The project consisted of removing 3 structural walls needing 8 large beams installed, moving the side of the house over 3ft with a new roof, putting in an entirely new kitchen, adding Air Conditioning and a tankless water heater, and new drywall and painting throughout the both the old and new spaces. Aviv and his team were great to work with. They had very fast and responsive communication, built a very organized plan to complete the project, and completed the project on-time (shocking but true). Their working crew was fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and showed up on-time or early every day. The team responded to issues and change requests to ensure we were happy with the final product. The final completed product is gorgeous, and we are very happy with how it turned out.

Comment: We underwent a full first-floor remodel that included new flooring, painting, lighting, kitchen (counters, cabinets, backsplash, etc.) and a powder room. We interviewed 5+ contractors and ultimately selected Aviv and his team. They werent the cheapest (somewhere in the high-middle) but from the start Aviv showed the excellent customer service and attention to detail that we came to appreciate more and more as the job went on. He followed up with us multiple times, met with us in person, and showed us a great 3D model of our plans. He also helped us with design choices and gave his honest opinion whenever asked, which we greatly appreciated. He has excellent taste and his experience shows. His team was top notch - Josh was our project manager, so sweet and diligent. Everything we asked was quickly addressed and corrected if need be. All the specialists from the tilers and painters were also top-notch and took incredible pride in their work. Overall, it took a little longer than expected - but what project doesnt? I would say AP Remodeling stands out for its superior customer service and high-quality work. We truly couldnt be happier how it all turned out. Where do I begin with why you should hire Avivs company for any construction needs in LA?:1) Transparency: From day one, Aviv was honest and upfront about what it would take to get our kitchen, dining room and bathroom redone. His pricing was clear, fair and he set timeline expectations that worked for us (which he ended up beating!). This gave us a lot of comfort in diving into a challenging project.2) Personal safety: In these uncertain times with Covid, Aviv made sure that he, his direct team and his sub-contractors masked up anytime they were working in our home or interacting with us. He also cordoned off areas of our home where work was not being done so to avoid minimal disruption.3) Design Expertise: Aviv gave us some great ideas and his design team did a phenomenal job with the renderings. This way we knew exactly how our remodel was going to look and we had an opportunity to make tweaks to our material design before the work even began. Also after our work was complete, we looked at the renders again and could not tell the difference between the 3D models and real life pictures!4) Quality of workmanship: Every single sub contractor and person on Avivs team was a skilled professional. The quality of execution was great and it was done with speed. Whenever that happened, Aviv would personally take responsibility and correct the work so we could get back on track. Next thing you know it, any issue that happened, would be resolved and one would never even know that it happened.6) Referral Network: Aviv recommended some great vendors to work with and we were so happy to be pointed in the right direction - because this is network, they would coordinate deliveries directly with Avivs team and we knew that we were getting great service and discounted pricing on high quality material.7) Communication and office management: Liz in the AP remodeling office and Joshua in the field were also fantastic to work with. The rep, stayed in contact and talked through issues as they came up. He also stopped by numerous times to check on how things were going. Most of the work was for a bathroom remodel, which was complicated by installing a new tub and fixtures in a new position, and by raising the ceiling. It looks great! I have already received compliments on how good things look. The reason I chose Ap Remodeling is they are one-stop-shop. They first sent the company designer and she helped me to pick up the material for my new flooring kitchen and bathroom. They provided me 3D rendering for each room what I liked the most is they even showed me on 3D where is each light going to be located. I am a perfectionist who is difficult to please and Aviv really came through for us! There were certain details that we had no vision for what we wanted. The creative ideas and finishing touches that Aviv recommended resulted in a more beautiful final product than we ever expected. He also recommended that we install a stainless hood instead of a microwave hood over our gas range and we couldnt be happier with the finished look of our kitchen.Avivs team does high quality work, especially the tile work in the kitchen and bathroom. Comment: From the very beginning, Aviv has be outstanding in handling not only the repairs in my home caused by storm/water damage but also dealing with my insurance on my behalf. My insurance has been giving issues approving and getting the work completed. They got things approved the insurance didnt want to approve but needed to be done to restore my home correctly. Aviv and Ron have all gone above and beyond expectations!!! They have done more than their job but also that of the insurance to get the job done! The work completed has been perfect and they take pride in their work! They keep me up to date on all matters making sure I was well informed. Because Aviv has such broad experience with building and design we were able to use a single contractor for a broad project that spanned kitchen remodel to archway install to flooring and baseboards, electrical and plumbing changes. The project would have not gone as well without a single person we could rely on for the entire project start to finish. Our kitchen and new flooring is beautiful.

Comment: I needed my kitchen remodeled before I sold my house in order to get a higher offer. I got 3 estimates for the work and met with each one. Aviv was, by far, the most polite, responsive, and informative one of them all. So we chose to work with Aviv. From choosing products in the beginning, to the final walkthrough, Aviv creative and mindful. Throughout the project, we started to realize our dream kitchen coming to fruition. It was so incredible. We really trusted everyone that came into our house to work because Mark would introduce me to them before they started their work. He even fixed some broken things (toilet paper holder, light switch plate, etc) in our house just because he noticed they were broken. Going through my remodel with Ap construction was one of the best decisions Ive ever made.
