I cant thank Jack Martin, the owner, enough for responding to my request and taking full responsibility for making the necessary repairs. Sharon Fritz and Octavio Iventura were also very helpful. Comment: I had my entire tile roof replaced.Action Roofing was reliable and as compared to many contractors in Santa Barbara, they showed up on time and completed the work on schedule.The workers were friendly and diligent, cleaning up any nails etc every day to avoid them ending up in our car tires. They even assisted my wife carrying a heavy box to her car.My repairs included fixing termite damage and they were really great about sending photos of what needed to be done, and coordinated such that I was able to get fascia boards painted prior to placement, which saved me trying to find a painter willing to do such a small job at another time.I want to call special attention to the foreman Octavio Iventura. He was responsive, returned calls and texts promptly and was an absolute gentleman in every interaction. I cannot praise him enough.

Comment: On New Years Eve, the kitchen ceiling fixture and wall began to drip water during heavy rain. In our 60s, my husband and I scrambled in the between rain showers to put multiple buckets in the attic and a tarp on the roof. The next morning with heavy rain projected in a cold sweat I called Action Roofing. Jack arrived within a couple hours and found the leak. He secured a crew to work the following day to repair the roof leak. The roofers were outstanding in every way and we are so pleased! We have great respect for Jack and his roofing heros and highly recommend!

The mountain top location of this Spanish tile roof with horizontal rains and unrelenting wind was a challenge but Action Roofing focused on the details. They weren’t the lowest bid nor were they the highest but after watching their attention to detail and craftsmanship we felt like we got the best value for our investment. We would absolutely recommend them for any roofing project.

Comment: Not that Im on a 5-Start roll as of late, however Ive been hiring quite a few contractors to do some work around my parents house lately. The good news is that all of my research (online reviews, recommendations and BBB analysis) as really paid-off! Action Roofing did a FANTASTIC job on installing a new roof on my parents house.What really makes a difference to me is that Action Roofing (Jack [Owner] in particular) took the time to educate me on the different options, assisted in guiding me in selecting options consistent with the nearby look of homes and actually convinced me to go up on the roof (which is no easy task considering I REALLY hate heights) to see for myself termite damage to the pre-existing plywood base. Due to the level of detail of Jacks team during the tear-down process, they found that the vast majority of plywood boards had significant damage and had to be replaced.Not being satisfied with showing me pictures (Jack sent me about 65-pictures total in my roof collection), Jack wanted me to see for myself the extensive damage. He really shows no fear since he proceeded to bounce up and down on the plywood board (again, on the roof) showing the give and thats how you can tell (besides the chunks too) the level of damage.Once everything was replaced (to include several skylights too), its amazing the how everything looks now! This includes how the Action Roofing team was extremely meticulous in cleaning everything up and you can barely tell anyone was there (outside an amazing looking roof)! I would highly recommend that you put Action Roofing on your list of contractors and compare their quality with their competitors. When you examine all factors, Im willing to bet you will end up with the same decision I made.

Steve came the next day to look at gutters that were corroding on one side of our house. Though I have contacted Action twice since he was out, we have yet to receive an estimate to replace the gutters and are now looking elsewhere.

Daily clean-up was so appreciated!Gutters look great, too, though we did not have quite the seamless process as with the roofing. There was nothing written regarding the choice of color or request for screens so we had trouble remembering our initial requests due to months-long delay due to rain. However, once those decisions were restated and confirmed the process was also done carefully and efficiently. We are very pleased with the work done.
