Comment: This was the third roofer I called for a bid.When I tell you this guy has more integrity than any contractor you will ever find—here’s a couple examples of why.The first two roofers: (no mention whatsoever of permit requirements. It never even entered my head to ask).Robby Duin: So your roof requires a permit. You can pull it or I can.Me: isn’t that overkill?Robby Duin: whether or not you believe a permit is overkill, or just a money grab by the building department, the fact is that it’s a legal requirement where you live, and if you fail to get one in order to save a little money, you will not be in compliance with the law. You could be fined. So that’s your info to make your informed decision but I can’t take responsibility for pulling a permit and then not get it.Point: If a contractor tells you a roof permit is unnecessary and is willing to cut that corner, what other corners might be cut that he doesn’t tell you about?Think about that when you get a roofer telling you that you can save money by not getting a permit. What else is he compromising on?You want someone who acts with integrity in ALL things, including complying with permit requirements.The first two roofers: your skylight is fine! We can keep it in place and reuse it, no problemo! We’ll just seal around it!Robby Duin: So this skylight is the wrong type for your roof which is why it leaks. I could fix it but because it’s incorrect it will eventually leak again. This type of skylight should only be used on flat roofs and yours of course is pitched. Also here’s a bunch of pics I just took of your cracked 30 year old skylight that is actually broken so I don’t know why someone else told you they could reuse it…I do not have enough good things to say about this man.

Comment: I first did business with A Duin-it Roofing in 2016. I am a single woman who had just moved into a home in Temecula in November of 2016. The previous seller failed to tell me a tree fell on the roof. He tried to patch it himself without success. I also had the house inspected before purchase and the inspector failed to advise of the roof damage which was an obvious issue. Temecula had a very wet season that year and my roof developed a very large leak. No roofers could be found during that time. It hadnt rained in Temecula for several years. I called A Duin-it for help. He was also unavailable at that time. He was kind enough to tell me what to do until he could come out. He advised he would call me in a few weeks and he did. He also referred me to legal help. I was so grateful. He saved me from some very costly repairs. I have since used A Duin-it Roofing for roof inspections and roof maintenance. They are honest and trustworthy. I love their work and ethics. They do other contract work as well. I recommend them completely.

Comment: First to respond. Very down-to-earth and professional, long-time family business. Explained everything about the work to be done, and also added additional beneficial information. Once new skylight (with lifetime warranty) arrived, Robbie and his helper Kale came the next morning and had it installed quickly. Price was excellent, as was the whole experience. Quality workmanship, and quality people! I will definitely use them again for any type of construction work they do!

Comment: I called on Memorial Day thinking that I would just leave a message. Rob called me back almost immediately. He not only called me, he came out and looked at the job. He was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I didnt even have to wait for the repair. He climbed up onto the roof and fixed my skylight and the vent. He didnt try and sell me any fancy repairs. He explained what he did and stated that it was simple. I am very satisfied and highly recommend Duin-It. I may need a roof soon and I will definitely call them.

Comment: I absolutely recommend A Duin Roofing and Construction. We had trouble getting others interested in a small job consisting of Fascia Board replacement. Rob answered the call, and showed up on time the very next day for the estimate. Rob was very knowledgeable, thorough and personable. He explained in detail the process for Fascia board replacement on a flat concrete tile roof. It was only 3 days later they showed up, getting it done in one day! After talking to Rob, Adam and Jason, I figure these guys have over 70 years of experience between them! Adam and Jason were professional and did an excellent job replacing our damaged fascia board and gave us a very honest opinion about the condition of our roof. With the quality of their work and attention to the details, we will be calling on Duin Roofing when it is time for a new roof for sure. I highly recommend their services! People with small jobs matter to these guys. Rock solid!
