Within days they sent Fernando out to fix the problem, replacing nails with screws. Not only did he fix the problem, he also went around and put screws in all the flashings on the roof. Comment: After 20 years of service and several large hailstorms our roof was in need of replacement.We went through the bid and re-bid process with three different local roofing companies. Ultimately we selected Tugwell Roofing and we are glad we did. Tugwell presented the best combination of pricing and quality products. However, it was the service we received that ultimately brought our business to Tugwell.David Covington was our salesman, estimator and project manager. He took the time to explain the variations in products, styles, energy efficiency and installation techniques. Some of my questions were answered via email or text message well after business hours. Mr. Covington and Tugwell worked with us on pricing and changes to the scope of the work. As we went along we added, gutter screens, ridge venting and replaced skylights.This was a large project consisting of a main house and two other buildings. Tugwells crew had the entire project completed in just three days. The clean up at the end of each day and at the end of the project was thorough.We would use Tugwell again and recommend them without reservation.

The intimidating process of having our roof replaced was made incredibly easy by their hard working and courteous professional staff. Davids honest assessment of our old roof was backed up by our insurance estimator and from there he walked us through the entire process from start to finish. The day Mike and his crew began the removal of our old roof was a big day for us. Mike took time to explain every step in detail and listen to our concerns. He even made time to give us updates throughout the day while we were away at work. Cody and his guys did the installation, which he promptly coordinated with us. Comment: Tugwell replaced my roof this week. David handled my project to get it scheduled and get the details ironed out. He dropped samples by the house for me to choose my color. They use a quality product with many colors to choose from. He was professional, prompt, and responsive. Cody was the project manager during the installation. He was informative, pointing out what needed to be replaced and gave me updates on the timeline for completion. All the workers were polite and worked efficiently, only taking one day to remove the old roof and make repairs and then a 2nd day to install the new roof. They left my property just as they found it, not a scrap of debris to be found. Best of all, the roof looks great! The seams are perfect and the roof caps are even and cover the paintline. I couldnt be happier with the results. Thank you David, Cody, and all the other workers. You all did a great job!

We chose Tugwell because they are one of the few local companies that can provide a fifty year transferable warranty wIth either Owens Corning or GAF. However, it was equally important for our family to get a fair price along with the highest quality products and workmanship. We couldn’t be happier with the results on both counts. I confirmed Tugwell’s pricing was in the middle of the pack by getting bids from four other local roofing contractors. It was an exceptional experience working with Tugwell from start to finish because they have a highly organized business model that allowed them to answer all our questions and concerns from picking out the roofing system our house needed and choosing the right colors to sticking by us to work with our insurance adjuster help obtain supplemental funds. Throughout the entire process they worked with us and really understood how important keeping costs down were for our family. Comment: I had a very positive experience with Tugwell Roofing.My roof was damaged when a huge white oak tree limb fell on my house during the snow storm in February 2019. Tugwell very promptly sent out their estimator to assess the damage to my roof and make sure my roof didnt require emergency patching in order to prevent further damage to my home.I chose Tugwell Roofing because they provided the most comprehensive proposal, and they offered what I considered to be a better quality of work and roofing product.Prior to the repair, Tugwell kept me informed as to what the time frame for the repairs would be and kept me updated as the repair date approached.Once the repairs commenced, their project manager kept me updated on the progress and went above and beyond in making sure my roof was constantly guarded against the weather when their workers left for the night, including attaching plastic sheeting to cover the entire roof in order to prevent any moisture penetration. I also observed employees cleaning up every little bit of debris which fell to the ground before they left for the day, including any nails or staples that may have fallen on the ground around the house.Every employee I encountered was exceptionally polite and considerate, including their sub contractor who replaced my damaged gutters.My roof looks fantastic! I am extremely satisfied with the result and with Tugwell Roofing.

Comment: Tuggwell Roofing replaced my roof in March 2017. They did it with a few weeks notice and the entire job was done in one day (between rainy days). The urgency was due to my homeowners insurance sending me a letter and saying that my insurance would be canceled if we didnt replace the roof within about a month (we bought the house in Jan 2017). We knew we needed to replace our roof but not within the first 60 days. Dan at Tuggwell was incredible to work with as we scrambled to get the job done. He walked us through the process of picking out shingles and answering any questions we had about replacing the roof (which were a lot of questions!). It turned out great and I would highly recommend them to work on your roof.

Comment: Tugwell Roofing did a fantastic job on my roof, so much my neighbors all stopped and commented on it. Everyone from the estimator, foreman and the installers were so pleasant to work with. They were respectful, kind and clean. The installers picked up after themselves daily and were very friendly and considerate. This was one of the largest purchases I have had to make for my home so I was cautious when it came time to do the work; I had gotten several quotes, some higher and some lower but ultimately it was the way Tugwell worked with me and answered my questions and concerns. During my installation we had a surprise rain shower on a Sunday and they sent an installer out to make sure everything was papered and covered. Superior service & communication from start to finish. They gave me an estimate for repair work because of water damage that was discovered after the old roof was taken off, and they worked hard and brought the cost significantly under the estimate. After the roof was done I managed to damage several shingles putting on some rain gutter guards, and they replaced them for me at no cost when they inspected my roof a few days later. That night it was a cold night. I didnt have to get up in the middle of the night to add firewood to the fire because of all of that insulation. I cant wait for the summer to see how much better our AC system works and how much less our PG&E bill is.The customer service experience with Tugwell Roofing was top notch. Their follow up is second to none. The bidder showed up on time, we received our bid within 48 hours, and were on the schedule by the next week. The whole job only took 2-3 hours. The crew cleaned up and did an excellent job, very respectful of our home. I already referred a few other people for roofs and insulation service.

Comment: Needed a new roof in Forest Ranch, two levels, a side porch roof, plus replacing five skylights. Got five bids - Tugwell Roofing was our choice. Their bid included the roof, skylights with all new flashing along with all the extra services they offer (gutter cleaning, staple pickup, grounds cleanup, getting the permit plus setting up the inspection to name a few). We went with the GAF Golden Pledge Roofing System with the best warranty we could find. GAF even offers a cash rebate under their Roofs for Troops program! Everyone we dealt with was professional (on time, worked hard, did good work,etc.), knowledgeable and friendly. The new roof and skylights look terrific and Im convinced the house is cooler with the new roof system. Great job! Great people!

As premium premier installers, we were confident they were recommending the right product for us. We could not be happier with their service, their willingness to work with us on a modification to roofline, and how they left the job site. A strong magnet was used, and they also trimmed trees and hauled those branches away as well. The crew showed up ON TIME every day, which was a 4 day project. They have a system and work well together that told us they were efficient and going to be done on time. Some of the nicest guys weve ever met, and weve had concrete contractors, landscapers, carpenters and flooring installers all crawling over our remodel in recent months. THESE WERE THE BEST. The sales manager, who provides great sales material and estimates, works well with you, is responsive to email, as is the project site manager. Simply cannot say enough about how happy with are with the beautiful job they did on this project. The neighbors were asking for business cards. We had heard of Tugwell, seen them at the Civic Auditorium for Home and Garden Shows, seen their ads on television, and also had watched them several times in our neighborhood putting up roofs for our neighbors. We decided to call them along with several other companies to obtain a sample of estimates. They came out immediately to give us an estimate and then sent out a representative to help us decide on the roof that was perfect for us. We obtained the best estimate for our new roof from Tugwell so we decided to sign with them. On the day they started the work we had several home showings and we let the roofers know that people would be coming and going several times that day. The workers were not only very friendly and courteous to us but on their own initiative kept our driveway and walkways leading to the front door swept clean so that roof debris never created a hazard or was even evident. Comment: Absolutely a great experience. They were booked out but that is because they do such a good job. I am in love with our new roof and gutters. They did such a good job. They completed it in four days. I asked one of the workers if they could make sure that my driveway was extra combed over to make sure no nails for my tires and the gentleman came back later at the end of his shift and did it in the dark and made sure that all the nails were out of my yard. He combed over my parking area for over 35 minutes in the dark with the magnet. Ive already recommended them to my co-workers. This was worth every penny I spent on my new roof.
