Comment: My neighbor had his roof done by another contractor who gave me a bid. Then my neighbor had leaks and other problems, so I didnt want use that company.I asked around and was referred to Tom Byer, got an inspection and was given info on what to look for as well as a bid. Bottom line is we signed the contract with TB and are very happy with the experience and results. Very professional, excellent communications and follow through, well trained, hard working crews that always showed up on time and left the area clean and in good order. We always knew what to expect.Reroofing can be a big deal - Glad we went with the best.

Comment: Tom Byer Roofing tore off two layers of old roof and replaced them with a new one. They replaced all the termite damage including the eaves. Installation was 2 years ago and it still looks great. No leaks. Brian and his team are very professional in all respects. We would give them a higher rating if that were possible.

Comment: The Tom Byer team re-shingled our roof. The entire process was well organized. They cleaned up our yard at the end every day. They showed up after hours to tarp the roof one day just in case it rained that night. They fixed all wood areas in need. They replaced and repainted our vents to match the new shingles. The price was 20-50% cheaper than the quotes we got from other comparable, reputable companies.

Comment: They responded quickly to my request for an estimate, and were there on time and done with the assessment in short order. Had an estimate to me within two days, and the price was very reasonable. They originally thought it would be a couple of weeks before they could get to the job, but contacted me a couple of days later and were able to come much sooner.Again, they were very prompt in getting started and did the entire repair plus cleaning up large accumulations of leaves in half a day. Weve had several rain storms come through since they finished the repair, and no more leaks. I highly recommend these folks.

Comment: In a pandemic, during winter, over the holidays. A roofing business trifecta, their busiest time of the year. I needed a very simple roof jack install to complete my kitchen remodel. Nobody on the contractor team seemed to realize I needed a vent through the roof for a microwave! So..I needed the roof jack ASAP. Called about a dozen roofing contractors, and due to pandemic, winter, holidays, they were just too busy. Tom Byers was up front: told me they would come out and give me an estimate, but it might take two to three weeks for the work to happen. They provided an estimate, and said they would be in touch after I told them to schedule me. Sure enough, 11 days later...on Christmas Eve morning...two nice roofers came over and did the (simple) job in less than an hour. The only thing that could have worked out better is if they had been wearing Santa outfits!

Comment: Tom came to our house in 2017 at our request for an estimate. He let us know the roof was still good for about two more years and if we could wait to replace the eaves, we would save money if we did it at the same time as the roof replacement. This turned out to be true. So we waited. Called him to years later and was not disappointed.This company is so reputable there is a wait list. Work site was clean each day. Roof looks great, the guys on the job site were great and overall best experience with any contractor we have hired.

Comment: They did an outstanding job installing a skylight for us. Brian gave us a fast and fair quote. The installers did a great job on the install. Left the roof cleaner than they found it. They also checked all the vent pipes and filled any gaps then painted the repairs to match the roof at no additional cost. Super impressed!!!

Comment: I had a leak in my roof before the holidays and called Byer Roofing. Brian was over the next day to asses the damage. He pinpointed the leak and approximated the cost and followed up with a proposal within two days. He estimated that I did not need an entire roof so kept the cost down by proposing just the areas of concern. The crew that came over was very efficient and finished the job in a couple of days after which the city inspector came to inspect the job. I was very pleased with the handling of the project and would recommend Byer Roofing highly.

Comment: I have used Tom Byer Roofing for many years. They came the first time in the rain to looks at a leak and didnt charge for the service call. Everyone else I called wanted $120 to $185 just to give me an estimate. They were there within 30 minutes as promised. They repaired the leak and charges a reasonable price. I had them come back a year and a half later to replace the roof. There bid was very competitive. They did the work in the time they quoted. They did such a good job, two of my neighbors had them do there roofs also.
