Comment: I had an issue when it rained heavily, the water would leak through the chimney on top of roof. I called several roofers for estimates. Brad came over to thoroughly inspected my roof. Took pictures of the roof and explained to me what needed to be done to prevent water from leaking through the chimney and the price it would cost. And also explained that sooner or later the siding on my chimney would need to be replaced and rough estimate on that project also. Although this was not the cheapest estimate, I decided to with straight edge roofing because Brad thoroughly explained what needed to be done and provided all the pictures. The crew was scheduled within a couple days and they came out early morning and got the job done. Also, several of the other estimates wanted half the cost up front and if not paying cash, they added an extra fee. Straight Edge Roofing emailed me a bill after the work was done and took cash or card payments with no extra fee. The only minor issue was that I had to go and pick up several nails on the floor around the chimney and some on the street where they parked. I will use Straight Edge Roofing again for any roof repairs.

Comment: They showed up to estimate the job when they said they would, got back to me within a couple of days with an estimate, and did the work when they said they would (give or take a few weeks, but I had told them the job wasn’t urgent as long as it was done before the rains start). The work was done quickly, they cleaned up after themselves, and the final bill matched the estimate. When I called the office someone always answered the phone, and they were good about getting back to me. They are a professional outfit. I recommend them.

Comment: Brian came out and gave a bid for our church, was the lowest of the four i received. was very thorough in his bid. flew a drone and took pictures. when it came time to do the job we agreed on a date. his crew came and pressure washed the roof in preperation for the next crew. As you can imagine washing was a little bit of a mess but his crews did a great job of cleaning up after. All crews were very professional. I got up on the roof a couple of times and looked it over. wow well done. Brian did come and fly a drone after it was complete. Comment: I needed to replace the roof on my Merced house in order to install solar panels. I solicited 3 proposals from local roofing contractors. Straight Edges proposal was the most detailed and the lowest cost. They did an excellent job replacing the roof, fixing a vent pipe, and coordinating the work with my solar contractor who subsequently installed 25 solar panels. Brian, the owner, was extremely responsive to some questions that came up during and after he completed the job. I would highly recommend Straight Edge Roofing.

Each time they have treated me professionally, with respect and cordially. The roofing they did at my residence recently was more work than we expected but it turned out well and remedied a couple of issues that had been an ongoing problem. They added more attic ventilation and now my whole house fan really moves air. The extra work took more time then was originally planned but there were no shortcuts taken to finish the job sooner. The owner Brian was upfront about the extra cost the added work would be, but honestly it was worth the extra and more. Their crews attention to detail and thoroughness impressed me. The did the work on time, at the price quoted, and left the place clean. They are also honest: the valleys had to be ripped out and underlayment and sheathing replaced. Comment: The team at Straight Edge Roofing was great. I bought a new house and they did the inspection. I decided to replace the 20 year old roof and start fresh. They had the old roof off in a day and the new roof on the next day. They even cleaned the gutters for me. Would highly recommend them to everyone.

Comment: I had a great experience with Straight Edge Roofing. I called and spoke to Bryan he had Albert come out that day. Within a few days my roof was fixed. I was so pleased with the work done I asked that they evaluate the rest of the roof and they discovered a few more areas, again fixed within a few days. I can now rest easy knowing that the roof will be leak free. I will be reaching out the them for any and all needs in the future. Definitely a 5 Star company.
