Comment: From start to finish Smart Roofing was the absolute best. I rarely give reviews; however, Smart Roofing deserves credit and a 5 star rating. I have been in property management over 35 years and have done more than one re-roof in my day. I obtained six different estimates from various roofing companies. While Smart Roofing was not the cheapest they were competitive and far from the most expensive and they offered me what the others did not. To begin the estimator, Evi, was very RESPECTFUL, knowledgeable and professional, showing me exactly what was going to be done (a complete tear off and installation); they pulled the required permit and took care of the two City inspections of the roof. Once the project began the men were prompt, professional and cleaned up daily before leaving. The office was also fantastic in working with me and my lender to obtain the Go Green loan I was applying for. Below were the initial deciding factors in choosing Smart Roofing:1. Unlike the other roof bids obtained, the price Smart Roofing estimated WAS THE PRICE, no surprises, no sudden billing for additional wood, etc. The other estimators all left an unappreciated open window to be able jack up the quoted price – but not Smart Roofing - they were straight up honest with me and the price quoted was the price. They also honored their advertised coupon for a complete re-roof and took $1000 off the project estimate which was a welcomed pleasure and which made their price even more competitive.2. Smart Roofing offered a 50 year/lifetime warranty on the energy saving “Cool Roof” they installed and informed me about a LADWP Rebate that I am entitled to as well – The other roofing companies only offered me a 10 year labor 30 year material warranty – I put a roof on 30 years ago and it flew by in a blink – so Smart Roofing’s offer of a 50 year labor and lifetime on material stole the show and cinched the deal.When it was complete Smart Roofing provided me with aerial photos of my roof and showed me all the new vents etc. that were installed (see photos) and they even took extra care to install protectors around the skylights to prevent future leakage. The new fascia work is exceptionally done around the property. Working with Smart Roofing was like a breath of fresh air – zero problems - it all ran smoothly – any minor concerns I had were immediately addressed and they left the property clean and looking good.You Can’t Go Wrong In Choosing Smart Roofing; You Can Only Go Right with this outstanding company. KUDOS, to Smart Roofing Company for all of their professionalism and for a job very well done. They get five stars and a perfect 10 from me. Any roof I need done in the future will go to Smart Roofing without a doubt.

Knowledgeable, professional, honest, on-time and courteous is what comes to mind when I think about my experience with him. From the start, Evi patiently listened, answered all my questions, and addressed all my concerns. The Smart Roofing crew delivered a beautiful roof for my 3,000 sqft house in just 3 days after permits were approved. That included teardown to plywood, damaged wood repairs, cosmetic modifications, new roof, and complete clean up. I knew I had made the right decision when months later, Evi came out and repaired minor damage cause by the solar installers. Give Smart Roofings a call if your roof needs attention. Comment: When I got my free estimate from Smart Roofing, I was very pleased in comparison to the other estimates. Isaac took his time to look at the roof to look and explain damages and work needed to be done. When Isaac started the work along with his team, I can honestly say I was pleased with the communication, timeline and the quality of the completed work. This company really takes pride on what they do. Isaac is a really good team lead and as a woman I felt really comfortable as he took his time to explain anything I was confused on. We recently had a tragedy in our family and little do Isaac know, he really put us in a peace of mind with this roof project as we are still battling with adjusting to life. My elderly father can finally have a peace of mind and not to worry about any flooding in our house as we had this past winter. Great job on the owner for having awesome employees. Very highly skilled people.

In the process of finding a roofing company to replace the entire roof, I did estimates with 3 other companies and Isaac made sure to answer each and every question of mine. He went up on the roof two times and explained step-by-step how the entire process would go.I shared with him some past nightmare experiences of various projects with contractors who promised the best work and instead, left us with more damages and the jobs unfinished. I was worried about timing, cleanliness, replacing old wood, and a bunch of other concerns.Isaac took out a contract and assured me that everything would be completed as planned. He and his team completed EVERYTHING as they promised, including the replacement of so much rotten wood without charging us an extra dime! Comment: We replaced our roof in March 2022. Our project manager Isaac was very thorough in reviewing my concerns and provided enough information, including Transparency in terms of cost. The estimate, minus additional service for a skylight replacement and city permit fee was what we ultimately paid, nothing else tacked on.As they are a licensed C39 contractor, they are focused on roofing only. Proposed fee was significantly lower because evidently the only thing they do is roofing, and are not general contractors. Streamlined and communicative. Their work looks good and after a recent rain I have a lot of confidence in my roof.Done on time and at the right price, highly recommend the company and their project managers.

Comment: We put off doing our roof for longer than we should have, partly because I am cynical about contractors. I was immediately impressed when Isaac came out to give me a bid--he was straight forward from the start. We went up on the roof and explained what he saw. He wrote up a simple bid with no attempts to upsell and promised there would be no add-ons (there werent). That was unlike other bids, where they had tiers of products and pressured me to take the most expensive one (as if you should feel bad or expect trouble if you cant afford the high-end bid!).Everything went exactly as promised. We were delayed due to rain but I appreciated that, I didnt want the workers out in that stuff and didnt want to risk more problems. Isaac was in constant communication throughout the job. His crew was friendly and professional. They finished ahead of schedule, just in time for more than a week of rain. It was awesome to hear that rain and know we didnt have to worry anymore.I dont endorse people or companies often but without hesitation I recommend Smart Roofing. They act like they are your partners in home repair rather than a company trying to maximize profits.

Comment: Its hard to be excited about re-roofing project, but I am!I had very old roof which started leaking recently, so I got quotes from 4 randomly chosen roofing companies. Smart roofing quote was lowest. But convincing factor was Evi himself, who unlike other reps didnt try to convince me to buy upgrades which I know I dont need, he was the only one who gave me written estimate. Plus Smart roofing was the only company who agreed to replace all damage roof woods without additional cost. All other companies agreed to replace only 10%.Evi stayed in touch with me during entire project. Project took only 3 days, no hiccups during inspections, they covered my roof with plastic after removed old shingles and it was really raining that night. They replaced my old vents to new low profile ones, and placed them on the other side of the roof looking towards back of the house, so its almost invisible for me ( less eyesores on my roof). I had couple of requests one of which I was fully expecting to be charge for, but Evi told me that cost of the addition is neglectable and he is not going to charge me.Since then we had couple of rainy days and I have no issues at all.Thank you Evi, for being honest and professional as you are!

I had called a few roofing companies and got estimates, there were prices quite high was told we e-mail your estimate.Then I call smart Roofing and Isaac Dadon came out gave me an estimate in writing everything itemized and was a fair price. He explained the whole process about the new roof and answered all questions.The day came for the tear off and I was expecting that when come home a debris field. Surprise roof gone yard clean. He inspected my roof and provided me with an affordable and decent price. He gave the estimated price right on the spot; it was all written down. He broke everything down and how many days it would take for the job to be done.The materials they would be using would be top-notch. I like how they have a 10-year labor warranty and the material a lifetime by the manufacture. Best of all, I did like how they would not charge me extra on the wood. This part is tremendous, primarily due to the current supply shortage and fluctuating price of lumber. I had confided with Isaac that my biggest fear would be that the price would change while my roof was being worked on due to these lumber shortages. Isaac guaranteed me that would not happen. Comment: I had the unfortunate incident of hiring a so-called roofer contractor referred by a frirnd. the work started at the end of September and, by December 2020, when it rained we had waterfalls in two bedrooms. No amount of repair even with a master roofer could fix the damage. The contractor left the job. After a few months, I I contacted several roofing companies. Finally I called. LASmart Roofing and Evi came to take pictures with his drone. We discussed the price, quality of roof, workmanship. Smart roofing had price which could not be beat by others. On top of theytook care of the permits and inspection. The roof for the apartment, garage and repair patio roof took 5 days. Not only that Evi was always available for questions. By the end of the fifth day, his roofers even cleaned out all the mess the other contactor left behind.I can keep on and on with praising Levi, Evi and company. The other two companies we reached out to, were not from SFV and had outrageous prices or did not provide such systems. The delivered as promised. Pricing included any bad wood would be replaced, whereas the other companies this would be an additional cost. By the way, today is toasty, our home did not need the AC on until 5:30. Comment: There are not enough words to describe how professional and efficient Smart Roofing is. Levi, the owner, and his Project Manager are simply wonderful and amazing at what they do.I had several leaks and my roof desperately needed to be replaced. Like most women, I had no clue as to where or how to even begin. Needless to say, there are many shady and opportunistic companies out there that prey on women. One company charged me $1000 to place a tarp on my roof and the job was so poorly done that I had them come and secure it properly in place several times. They hammered the wooden planks onto my tile roof causing further damage. The owner also sent an overpriced proposal without consulting what type if material and color I wanted installed. Another company required a $9500 deposit, which I found out was illegal to charge consumers. Roofers can only charge 1K, or 10% of project price. The deposit must be the lesser amount between the two. They also wouldnt provide their license info, insurance, and permit which I know are all required for all roofing projects.Both companies also had hidden costs upon job completion.When Levi and Evi came to assess my roof, they showed me exactly what the job entailed. Evi went through the entire process step by step starting from the roof tear off on the first day, and showed me the exact materials, layer by layer that they will use to replace my roof. They discussed the permit and inspection process, provided their license and insurance info and required only the amount permitted by law for downpayment. They were not pushy, and they listened to what material I want to use. Before I even hired them, Evi provided me several catalogs of tiles I was looking for, and on his own, requested a sample of each tile I was interested in without me having to ask. How great was that??!! He even got quotes and ETA on the materials to give me an idea on how long the project will take based on which material I choose. To think how much work Evi has already put in, without me even committing with them.. I was sold.Each day, Smart Roofing crew arrived masked per COVID guidelines, on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up at the end of the day. My Project Manager Evi was on site everyday, provided individualized care, addressed any concerns I have the same day, and returned calls even after hours. He debriefed me with what to expect, what will take place the next day, and kept me informed on project progress.Smart Roofing completed the job on time as promised. This is a top notch, reputable, reliable and honest company. I would recommend them to everyone, including friends and family.Levi, your company deserves 10 stars in my book. They handled all permits and City inspections. On day three they completed the roof replacing all vents and substandard wood. Each day the crew was on site they left it broom clean. Comment: Although it doesnt rain much in the San Fernando Valley, for years, my family and I would experience leaking in several areas inside our home, which was starting to cause damage within. Upon our inspection, we learned that the predominantly flat roof on our old, modest-sized home was well overdue for a new roof.After several estimates (with many far beyond our budget) Smart Roofing was by far the most impressive and reasonably-priced roofing company we had the pleasure to work with. From the initial quote visit all the way to the final inspection, Isaac was overwhelmingly professional, respectful and made sure we were well-informed of scheduling and updates. He also made it a point to be very thorough in his inital inspection to reassure us that there would be no surprise costs mid-construction and that the agreed upon cost was firm.Smart Roofing also has a very thorough and hard-working team that was able to tear off the old layers of shingles on our roof, replace it with polyfresko, install a cricket, and add gutters all within a week! My family and I were so relieved to stay within our budget for our new, beautiful, leak-proof roof and it was a bonus to work with someone as kind and awesome as Isaac. Comment: Just had my roof done by Smart Roofing. Great work! Conscientious detailed work. Cleaned up every day. Work performed very quickly. Their bid included the repair and replacement of items not included in other bids, such as rain gutters, repair and replace rotted wood over entryway. While I waited for other roofing companies to submit bids, Smart Roofing completed an entire roof job.

Comment: I was very concerned to invite a salesperson to my house during covid-19 but I had to fix my roof.The owner came in, on-time, with a mask.He was friendly, professional and efficient.The work is now complete and Im very pleased !!Thank you !
