Not knowing much about the process and the overwhelming amount of available options and companies out there.A co worker (Josh) told us all about his system he purchased and installed through Semper Solaris. He was extremely satisfied with it and highly recommended I check them out.I took his advice and reached out requesting a consultation.They connected us with Joe Ferrando and he came by the house for an in person review. I can’t emphasize enough how beneficial his visit was. All of the questions, unknowns, and concerns were easily explained and we were happily convinced this was the company we wanted to do business with. Being a Veteran myself, I love their philosophy towards taking care of their customers. Joe proved to be a very experienced and well informed ambassador. This consult took place in late February and our system was literally installed yesterday! In a market with an unprecedented amount of contracts flooding the solar market to get ahead of the April deadline, I was very happily surprised it happened this efficiently. Installers worked fast and it only took about 1 month after the installation to get SDG&E to approve and let me run my solar. This was important because I heard it takes other companies months to get theirs solar active. System works great, they only damaged 1 roof tile and replaced it. I highly recommend Semper Solaris and the Panasonic panels to anyone looking to go Solar.

Comment: I don’t blame the last solar company I used 5 years ago for going bankrupt and leaving me with panels that don’t produce the energy I need for my house. I know a lot of solar companies popped up at that time that were run by mom and pop with very little experience in running a solar company. I blame myself for choosing that company because they were the cheapest in price...Now that I’m a bit brighter, I did tons of research on solar companies. I knew exactly what I wanted and that’s way I chose Semper Solaris. They met every criteria I had plus a few bonuses. The battery was the icing on the cake. I would advise you do your own research but please remember to ask where the panels are made. Being made in the U.S. is what you want to put on your check list. Take your time and research. Comment: We purchased solar panels a few months ago with the Tesla powerwall battery and we did it just in time! Our whole gated community lost power for 10 hours in the heat of Summer. It was about 11:00 PM on a Sunday night and I literally turned off the water from my shower. I was very thankful for 2 things that night. One, that I got my hair rinsed out on time. Second, that we had the Tesla battery.It’s hard for be to sleep without my cpap machine because of my sleep apnea so without the power from the battery, I would not have the ability to run it. My neighbors commented the next morning how they had a horrible night’s sleep because it was too hot. Now, I have them all onboard to get solar panels with a Tesla battery. Was that a huge mistake! Of course they chose to turn off my air when the temperature was in the high 90’s. Comment: Bernie Townley Sales Rep from Semper Solaris came to our home and performed monthly usage electric analysis based on the last one year utility bills. Based on the total monthly KWH calculation usage, Bernie provided me 20 Panels Photovoltaic Panasonic 330 watts system with an electric panels upgrades to 200 amps from 100 amps.On the day of installation Eriz the Semper Solaris supervisor with his team came on time and installed the solar panels with in few hours. The electrical panel upgrades was done by Hussain a Semper Electrician so beautifully and precisely. The stucco around new electrical panel was put in perfectly and most importantly the colour matching of the wall was exactly the same and painted by Eriz. They cleaned the area before leaving.I have worked with so many vendors before but Semper Solaris stands out on the top. From the sales paperwork to actual operating of Solar Panels is literally mind blowing experience. I would highly recommend Semper Solaris for Photovoltaic needs.

After several other estimates at other companies, it was a relief when I met with the SemperSolaris rep. He was polite and very professional. I didnt feel like he was pressuring me to make a decision rght away or push more product/cost than necessary, which was very different from many of the other reps I had met with. He was thorough and knowledgable. Once I committed to a system with SemperSolaris, the job started rather quickly, about 2-3 days later. Laura contacted me to let me know what to expect and kept me informed throughout the whole project. Once we got the ok for installation, John contacted me to set everything up. I am active duty Navy and had to travel up north for work the week they finished installation and inspection. I had no reserves or doubts of the work being done while I was away. Mike Winklepleck was by far the most patient, knowledgeable, honest and responsive sales people I spoke with. Weve been shopping around for solar for at least a year, went to a couple of companies and finally signed contract with a company that it is not even worth mention, who after wasting a lot of our valuable time with them did not honor the contract. so we gave up for a while. Wasnt until we found Semper Solaris. We though of giving them the opportunity. Man we made the right decision! Semper Solaris is one of the most if not the most professional, transparent, and customer service oriented company I have ever encounter. Soon after Signing contract with them at the lowest price we had ever seen on solar, they assigned us a Customer Care Officer named Laura Vargas who was always on top of things and answer every question we had. after two weeks we had our installation done by Shane and Perry, this guys were really professional and did an excellent job. They were very courteous and Shane actually took his time explaining everything they were going to do in detail. they finish the job in two days, (worth mention that it was a big solar system, about 33 panels) after that we just waited for Edison to give the OK to turn our solar system on and just like that, in about five weeks we have our solar power running. Thank God for companies like this, I highly recommend them, as a matter of fact I already have to my family members.

Comment: My husband and I did a lot of research on solar companies before making the jump to purchasing solar. We chose Semper Solaris for the panels they use and for the system technology.The process took much longer than we expected because there are so many departments/people involved. I spoke with at least four different people on some days when trying to resolve some of the issues and have our questions answered. I would have liked more continuity.Our customer service rep was John Renteria and I was very thankful for his service in resolving some issues that came up. We are happy with the system installed and when we did finally get in touch with the correct people they were courteous.Several things didnt go right but John did everything in his power to make things right and so his service is what makes me give this company a 5 star review.

Comment: My system has been installed and working for a little over a week now. Winter production is a little slow, but I know I will make up for it in the summer. After a year, I should be able to hit the average production target. Installation was quick and easy and all of my quesitons were answered. Veronica M. coordinated the project and was superb. She kept me informed of everything as it was occuring - by phone, email and text - and she was very responsive to any questions I had or information that I needed. She followed up after the project was completed and was up and running to see if there was anything else that needed to be finished up, whether I was able to go online and see production numbers and if I need any more information. Comment: It’s only my first day and I’m already making more electricity than I use! I have been contemplating going solar for a few years now. I’m already paying Edison every month and I’m sure electricity isn’t going to get cheaper. Why not buy my own system? I interviewed four companies to bid my solar system. What stood out to me was the customer service reviews on Yelp. They got great reviews for always letting the customer know what’s going on, following up and quickly responding to questions. It was only a few hundred dollars more than the lowest bid I got, and I’d rather pay a bit more for better service and a company that’s been around a long time. The process was seamless, easy and an overall pleasure. The only delays were for stuff that was beyond their control, like waiting for Edison to come check my meter and of course the city inspectors. Start to finish (signing contract and system up and running) was only eight weeks.Today is my first day of having my system on. As of 1pm today, I’ve used 7.8kWh of power but I have made 9.7kWh! Meaning I’m sending power back to the grid!If you are on the fence like I was, just do it! You won’t regret it. I figured out that my system will pay for itself in less than 8 years (if you factor in the federal tax incentive).Let me tell you, when you go with Semper Solaris, you get a team of wonderful people who help you every step of the way. A special shout out to Jim Springer, my awesome sales guy who really did a good job of explaining everything to me…thanks Jim! Melissa in Operations Support was always helpful. Bob king was my sales consultant and he explain everything in full detail, he is very knowledgeable and very good at his job, there needs to be more people like him because he actually knows what hes talking about, he will make sure you understand everything and anything that has to do with solar panels and how they work, he takes his job very serious. My customer care representative and point of contact was Veronica Mosqueda, by far she has been the best customer service representative that I have ever dealt with, she answered all and any questions or concerns that I had throughout the whole project from beginning to end. Comment: I have been fence sitting for more than a year about going Solar due to numerous horror stories that I hear and read. After extensive research and comparison I finally took the plunge and went with Semper Solaris. And let me tell you they did not DISAPPOINT and sure glad I chose them over the competition!!! First of all, I was contacted by their sales associate Rhami Hasenin. Rhami showed up in time as discussed and went right to work with his presentation. I can tell he was well versed in his job and the product. I did not feel pressured at any time during the presentation and he went over everything about my project design in details and was thorough. After showing him my previous electric bills he made sure the design and setup was for my best interest and fit to accomodate our household based on usage history. Very impressive sales rep.A few days later I was contacted by John Renteria to go over the details of whats coming down the road. After a few conversation he mentioned that he used to be in the Navy and come to find out he served in the same squadron I was in! I told him that Im a retired Navy Chief and from that point forward he insisted on addressing me as Chief even though I told him to just call me Jake. And that my friends is a testimony of how this veteran owned company cares about other vets. Im sure they care about all their customers regardless if youre a vet or not.The project was supposed to start that Saturday and I get a phone call from the install team lead Alex saying they want to get a head start and will start on Friday at 0800. Again, right on the dot they showed up the following morning. Without wasting time they get right to work. During the installation Alex made a suggestion to change the original layout of the panels to make it look more aesthetically pleasing to the eye and clean looking in which I completely bought off on. The original design was laid out kind of weird due to some pipe sticking out on the roof and it would interfere with the panel so Alex rerouted the pipe just so a panel could be placed and it was a good call!! Next their electrician George showed me the placement of the inverter and showed how he planned on running the conduit. I made a request to run the conduit the way I wanted it just so it is less visible from the street and he did just that! The install took all day and was to return the next morning to finish it off. Before leaving they cleaned up the project area and made sure it was the same condition as before they started.The following morning the team came back on time and got right to work. It wasnt long before they buttoned up everything and the install was complete. Alex once again explained what the next step is and to call with any questions. A few days later I get a call to inform me of the city inspection. Although the inspection failed for minor infraction, Josh Anthony assured me that everything will be corrected in a timely manner and they did. Alex and his team came back to fix the infraction and even painted the conduit to match the exterior paint perfectly!!! The reinspecrion took place without a hitch and a few days later I was granted the power to operate! The PTO didnt go as planned as the inverter was receiving some kind of error. But the technical team was on it right away and helped me troubleshoot. It didnt take long until the issue was resolved and I was up and running!!In summary, Semper Solaris is committed to their customers and you will not be disappointed. Look to no other company besides Semper Solaris if you are looking to go solar!!! They have the best incentives and offer no one can match. Bobby King was our sales guy. Hes awesome and no b.s. He explained everything in simple terms. The Sunpower panels have a great warranty and I really love the monitoring app. My wife and I started freak out because we were days away from hitting the net metering 2.0 deadline. Both Bob and Veronica Mosqueda we super helpful in getting everything done in time. They returned every call, text or email within minutes, even on the weekends, they were always available. I have no regrets or a single complaint about this company. There were a couple of bumps that were out of their control, mainly City permit and Edison issues. It was a clean and honest discussion and he provided me all the details correctly and a very good price as well. Their installation team completed the job very professionally and explained me about the monitoring process. I had to get the HOA approval for the solar installation and Sempis provided me with professional documentations which helped me to get the approvals without any follow up question. It has been two months since I have the panels on my roof. So far everything looks good. The process of getting approvals from the city and utility company took more time than I anticipated but Sempis took care of that process end to end. The install crew was polite, efficient and on time.Production rates:After the install and my solar was up and running, I started to question the production rates. Im a numbers guy and keep a track of my energy production and usage. Semper Solaris came back to my home and adjusted my system. My production rates were back on track and will probably produce more energy than estimated.Why I highly recommend Semper Solaris:1. They cater to military, veterans and first responders2. Comment: We looked at about 6 companies before choosing Semper Solaris. They were one of only 2 companies that were up front and honest about how the tax credit worked. Semper Solaris was able to get our panels installed a few weeks sooner than expected.The installation was top notch. The red stickers that are required on the conduit are all facing the back of the house whenever possible so they are not facing the street. They painted the conduit to match the house. Great attention to detail.We needed a rather large system (10kW). With the 347W panels, we needed fewer panels AND have higher efficiency that the competition.One small problem we had; the app was reporting that we were generating less power and consuming more power then we really were. I e-mailed Russell on a Saturday. He e-mailed me a short time later (ON A SATURDAY) letting me know he would look into it first thing Monday morning. I got a call Monday morning saying he wouldl have a tech out later that day. It ended up being something simple, the tech fixed it right up and all is good.I give Semper Solaris an A+ rating. If youre considering solar, Semper Solaris is THE company you want to consider. Theres ALOT of shady Solar companies out there, Semper Solaris is not one of them.

I was glad to deal with a U.S. veteran-owned company, and was further delighted to know that the materials are all U.S.A.-produced. Every question we had was easily answered. They went so far as to buy matching paint to use on the new conduits outside my home. The entire installation is first cabin and looks very professional. Comment: My journey started with evaluating eight different solar/roof companies last fall before deciding on Semper Solaris in November. I just received my permission to operate from Edison as they were severely backed up with applications.For each phase on the project, Semper had a dedicated responsible manager providing support but it wasnt until the very end of the process which i was having the most issues with my city of residence and also with SC Edison. Rachel Korp took my project and personally saw it to the finish line after months of effort.I could not thank her enough and Im thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of the entire Semper team, from the roofers, solar installers and behind the scene team, but mostly Rachel as she was methodical and relentless in making sure everything was being done by other parties needed for the completion of my project.Thank you!!!
