Hounded by several solor companies, we got 2 quotes before talking to Semper Solaris.We contacted Bob King from Semper Solaris as a recommendation from a good friend. He was openly honest about the new solar rate egulations and at one point said he didnt beleive he could save us money on our electricty, said he didnt feel good about selling us something that we could not benefit from and to just look at completing the roof. Long story short, the deadline to turn in applications for solor be under the old rate plan was the day we sat down to talk to Bob. We crunched numbers and came to a working solution with a smaller amount of panels that would benefit us on the electricty side and a new roof.At the end of the day, Bob was able to push our application through THE SAME DAY, locking us in at the old rates. He never made us any promises but said he would try so we could get a bigger savings on our electricy bill. Our regret was not talking to Bob FIRST and locking in a contract with more solar panels with bigger benefits.In additon to Bobs complete honesty, Sempers prices on a complete new roof was the least expensive bid with quality materials. It was a no brainer to go with Semper Solaris.I am so glad to have gone with Semper. The roofing project was done in 4 days! The field superintendent, Eddie Limon and project manager, Allan Aguayo, communicated with me daily on the progress of the roof. The workers arrived early and began work immediately. They worked non stop. My yard and patios were clean each day.

Comment: Found out about Semper Solaris through online research. I decided to go with them because they are veteran owned. My salesman, Bob King, was as thorough as they come. He is very personable, very likable, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all my questions in detail. I had two crews for installation. The first crew reroofed a portion of my existing roof. From the get-go I would receive daily updates from the project manager. He always called to keep me posted about the progress after the crew left for the day. I am very knowledgeable about home construction and when they were finished with the installation I would never have known that they were there at all. They were very clean and I am very happy with the work that they did. The crew that installed my solar panels was also very professional. I asked them lots of questions and they patiently answered everything and took time to explain how everything works. I 100% recommend Bob King and Semper Solaris! Both of my kids have already had solar installed by Bob at my recommendation!

Bob was very sweet to my mom who doesnt speak a lot of English and she still talks about him. Overall it was a great experience. Bob helped us make the financing work for our needs. We are very satisfied with everything. The guys that installed the panels were amazing. There were a few hiccups along the way, but everything was resolved to our satisfaction. Comment: I heard about Semper Solaris through radio ads. I called and they sent Bob King out. Bob is a nice guy, very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Everything went very well. Bob did a great job and continued to touch base throughout the installation process even when his part of the job was done. The project was seamless from start to finish. We installed a new roof, solar panels and 2 Tesla Powerwall batteries. The crew worked well. My wife or myself was there every day. They were always early and always cleaned up after themselves. Comment: We were getting estimates on a roof when a close relative gave us a flyer from Semper. We then decided it made sense to install solar at the same time as our new roof. We met with Bob King. Semper’s quote was competitive. It wasn’t the lowest but we felt Bob had our best interests in mind, understood our needs and could recommend what was best for our situation. Bob was personable, upfront and honest. He was the only installer we met with who told us about the rebate on the Tesla Powerwall2 batteries and that sealed the deal for us. The roofing crew was super efficient. Our roofing manager Eddie called me every night to tell me what had been accomplished and what time they would be starting the next day. The solar crew was helpful, professional and on time. Our system is living up to our high expectations – we are selling energy back to the grid! Our decision to go solar is saving us money and we feel fortunate that we got our batteries in time to qualify for the rebates. Comment: I heard about Semper Solaris from my brother-in-law. Bob King came out and made an assessment of our energy use based off of our prior months electric statements. He was patient and not pushy, which I appreciated. He was very quick and my formal quote was emailed promptly. Bob was easy to reach, had great communication, and was responsive and supportive of any concerns that arose during installation and throughout the process. In my experience the sales side typically disappears once the work starts, but not Bob. He made sure any concerns of mine were addressed promptly by the appropriate person(s). We decided to go solar because we wanted to be more proactive about being green and not having to rely fully on the grid for power. I am very happy with the way our panels look and especially with the amount of energy they produce (We have a 16 panel system producing just under 40kWh per day this past summer).They are not the cheapest option (also not the most expensive), but I do feel like the service I received was well worth the cost. They also helped with the paperwork for all rebates that needed filing - this saved me a lot of time, which I appreciated! I have already recommended Bob and Semper Solaris to my neighbor and will continue to do so.

We’ve been researching solar energy for a while, and we received bids from different companies, we settled with Semper Solaris not only for the cost but for the amazing customer service we received throughout the process. Our sales representative Alexander Darr was the nerve center of the whole process, he made our transition to solar & batteries pleasant, easy, and I cant praise this guy enough for his professionalism, attentiveness in going above and beyond to help us every step of the way.The installer Eric Lopez and his crew were awesome. Overall I had a wonderful experience, and we consider ourselves blessed dealing with a wonderful team, helped us transition to solar & battery energy that was designed to fit our needs and power usage! We just passed the final inspection on September 13th, although we are in the very early stage of our solar system, I feel very confident that this is one of the best decisions we made!

Comment: As our electric bill grew and solar incentives became attractive we began to consider converting our Long Beach home to solar power. We looked around, asked friends and family and in particular we read with interest the reviews on Yelp. That is where we were first made aware of Semper Solaris. It was about two years ago and saw all the great reviews for Semper Solaris. We loved the positive reviews and the fact that they were a Veteran Owned business. Bob King came out and met with us at that time. Bob was a great sport and very patient as we told him we were meeting with 2 - 3 other companies. We were not sure that the battery bank was quite where we wanted it so we decided to wait. Then in August 2020 we had a 24 hour power outage, which helped us make the decision to finally to go solar. Bob was happy to come out and meet with us again after nearly two years. He was willing to answer all our questions and remained engaged the whole time. He made the entire process seamless and easy from step to step. Bob and the employees at Semper helped explain and file all the necessary paperwork and there was never one point where I had to do anything – I literally watched with amazement as they passed the baton from one group to the other and kept me updated on my status. The on-site teams were amazing. They were very respectful and happy to answer any questions. They went above and beyond their scope of work. They took pictures with my phone on the roof during installation, were respectful of our landscaping, and even removed plants that were impeding the installation.They had a very high work ethic and exceeded my expectations. Now are now running a credit every month and I am obsessed with looking the Tesla app on my phone to see how my new battery system is working! Excellent communication as they all know how to listen and work with you. We felt a part of the process at all times. Our main contact, Alex Thomson-Corrao, was above and beyond in his positive efforts to help us. Also, the project managers were very excellent keeping us informed for scheduling and what work was being performed. At different times, it was necessary to make contact with Alex. Comment: I searched the internet for batteries and Semper Solaris was one of the companies that came up on my search. I was impressed with their military background. Being a vet myself, I really liked that and decided I was going to give them a try. Bob King was my salesman. It was an easy sales process and Bob explained everything to me throughly. I had an existing solar system, but didnt have any experience with Tesla powerwall batteries. Bob clearly explained how the batteries would work with my existing system in a way I could understand. He also got into the various savings I could receive from the state. My two crews were professional. The first crew did most of the work and the second crew finalized everything. They were both nice and easy to work with. My Tesla Powerwall battery has lived up to my expectations. Comment: I heard about Semper Solaris when I did a google search, saw their internet ads and decided to investigate. I have lots of veterans in my family and that appealed to me. I had a decent understanding of the technology prior to meeting with Bob King. Bob was quick to point out the cost/benefits ratio long term. He also helped me understand the medical programs my mom would be eligible to receive. He explained what would work best in my situation and his recommendations were 100% spot on. His advice and knowledge were very beneficial. I didnt feel any pressure. Bob is a good guy and stepped in and helped whenever I needed anything. Both my solar and roofing crews were fantastic and respectful. They made sure they cleaned up nails, even in my neighbors yard. The work looks fantastic. My system is performing better than my expectations. Im glad that for the first time in my whole life my mom and I can have the air on without thinking about it! Comment: My spouse Joyce Warhank and I heard about Semper Solaris on the radio. She is a person who gets at least 3 estimates whenever any work is done on the home. She looked at a lot of companies before deciding. Bob King was our salesperson and he stood out from all his competitors and made choosing Semper Solaris an easy decision. He provided all the information needed in a way that was easy to understand. We were very proud of the installation crew. They were up to our standards of work. Joyce worked as an AT&T lineman, so know‘s how hard it is just to carry and secure the ladder to the roof. We didnt have to worry about the safety of the crew. They followed all safety procedures and we appreciated that. Our system is exceeding our needs and expectations. Comment: Several years ago we realized that our existing solar system was not producing enough for our needs and we went with Semper Solaris to augment our system. They explained how the Time of Use (TOU) electrical billing worked, and how it benefitted us to store the excess power that we generate during the sunny part of the day so that we do not have to rely on the grid after sundown. They were very careful to not oversell us, and explained all of the options that we had for augmenting our existing solar energy system. They did a great job explaining what was involved in getting the tax incentives and rebates on the system as well as how to use the Android application to monitor the solar production, how much was going to the Tesla PowerWall, and other aspects of our systems performance.Some years later, when we decided to add air conditioning, we immediately went with Semper Solaris again to add a third set of panels and another Tesla PowerWall to our solar energy system. Jackson Raab has been the Semper sales person both times, and he is easy to work with, does not oversell, and does a great job explaining to the lay person.

Comment: We live in a neighborhood in Ventura County that routinely suffers from Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) so we started seriously considering installing solar and a back up battery system. I found Semper Solaris on the internet and as a retired Naval Officer, I loved that they are veteran owned. My salesman, Bob King, was proactive and great at explaining the programs available to me, including the SGIP program. Bob was transparent about how the system would work and made it very easy to understand. The Semper Solaris crew was very professional, on time, and completed the installation when promised. The crew was very organized clean and left my house better than they found it. . .with solar power and two Tesla Powerwall back up batteries! The crew even found roof tiles to match existing tiles for a portion of my roof that needed repair. My system is working great! I have experienced 3 outages in the past 45 days and I have 95 hours of off-grid use on my backup batteries. . . we never even noticed the power was out; the transition was seamless! My wife and kids loved it. They were able to continue to cook, use the internet, and just go about daily life regardless of what was happening with the SCE outages. During non-outage times, the batteries have always produced enough electricity to get us through our peak time-of-use periods. So far I have not had any peak charges during the most expensive time of day. My SCE bill was $3.15 last month - during the dead of winter! It was a great choice to go solar! I refer my friends and family all the time to consider Semper Solaris. It is a great quality product combined with great quality service. Comment: I saw a commercial for Semper and called them. Everything from the beginning was so easy. The other companies I met with it was like jumping through hoops. When it was time to move forward, I knew who I wanted to call. My sales rep was Bob King. He walked me the process, got me my loan, stayed in contact through the entire process and was always available. I’ve never had to wait for a response from Bob. He made me feel very comfortable. My crew was clean, organized, nice and on time. No mess.. really easy to deal with and so polite. They cleaned up after themselves. You don’t get that nowadays. They were here in the dead of summer in that heat working hard from 8-4 every day to get the solar installed. My system works wonderfully. There was a power outage in my area — but not in my house! I love that. We are using a lot more electricity with the kids being homeschooled. And I’ve been able to lessen my carbon footprint! 5-stars for Semper and Bob King. Absolutely recommended.

Comment: I was researching the best solar companies in Southern California on the internet and came across Semper Solaris. I interviewed three companies and Semper had the best reputation. Bob King came my home, went over my bill, analyzed my usage and figured out how to get the most out of my roof to save as much money as possible. I decided to go with Semper and I made a great choice. I love my system and the app to see my usage. Erez the foreperson was great — very responsive, extremely knowledgeable about the system — he actually knew more than the inspectors who came out to approve my installation. Now my bill is 30 bucks every two months and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Semper Solaris if you’re looking to go solar and ask for Bob King!

The install crew were professional and efficient, here on time, completed everything in a timely manner and I also appreciate how neat the job was – no dangling wires or sloppy conduit. This is our second year having solar and the only bill we’ve seen is a small fee for being connected to the grid. Bob King, our salesperson, is friendly, forthright and no BS! We were in the middle of a refi and Semper kept up with us and waited until we were ready to move forward. That was huge. It was a flawless install – they explained what each step was throughout the process. Semper kept us apprised of all the inspections and handled all of it.
