Comment: We were impressed with Second Generation Roofing, Inc. work on a rental property we own.They were prompt in giving us an estimate and as soon the weather permitted it they started the job according to the contract.Our tenants notified us on how professional, respectful and corteous they were. Second Generation sent us detailed pictures of the work done as soon as finished showing all the repairs as anticipated and the final roof installation.Their invoice was proof of the honest work they performed, showing the cost of all the materials and labor for the repairs needed before the roof installation. Very reasonable prices.We will definetely hire them again when our own house needs a roof replacement.

Comment: We live in a 100 year old house on a narrow windy street in Marin that had significant dry rot and is 3 stories tall. I got multiple bids and am so happy I went with Second Generation. I really felt treated like a part of their family. While other places would have needed to subcontract the dry rot repair and skylight installation, Second Generation took it all on without batting an eye. They worked quickly and seemed to do a great job. The price was right too. I’ll be sure to recommend their services to family and friends!

Comment: After shopping and receiving multiple quotes, Second Generation was not lowest price, they actually took the time to walk the roof and identify any other needed repairs before the job started.From the first inspection to job completion was only 10 days and the install on a 2200 sq/ft house only took a day.

Comment: These guys are exactly what you want in a roofing company- prompt, courteous, competent, careful, and attentive to detail. They left my property cleaner than when they arrived. I didnt get bids from other contractors, but my neighbor got 4 bids for his roof, and they were all within 5% of each other, with Second Generation about the same as the others. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

Comment: I got 8 bids from local roofers (only ones with good reviews.) Second Generations price was lowest for 30yr and tied for lowest for 40yr shingle. We went with 40yr. One company was $12k higher for the same roofing material. The estimator, Noel, actually worked on the roof, which we really liked. He is a great guy and really knows his stuff. There were no extra charges at the end. They were on time, cleaned-up well, no smoking, no loud music, just good workers. Noel came out later to reinstall/move a downspout when our solar installer took it down. (we paid his helper as he refused to take any money.) I would not hesitate to use this company again and let me save you research time, they were the cheapest and very good, and local!

Comment: Noel and his team were fantastic from start to finish as was Jackie in the office! Beginning with the quote and through the entire project to completion, we were pleased and impressed by their professionalism and quality of work. We found out later several of our neighbors also hired Second Generation and we’re also very satisfied with the price and quality craftsmanship. Highly recommend.

Comment: When we decided to get a roof we looked at several installers. Two of the installers left an instant distaste in or mouths. And then came Noel. He sold me on Second generation, immediately.Throughout the process, both the office coordinator, Jackie, and Noel, were quite attentive, agreeable, and helpful, with all my concerns and questions. Now, my wife and I were on vacation when I got the call to start the job, so I wasn’t around to inspect”. It didn’t matter. There was nothing that indicated they were ever here. Not a spec of material was left behind. My yard and surrounding area were spotless. The roof looks terrific. The gutter guards were appropriately mounted. The roof vents were installed. The color of the roof matched things nicely, and enhances the appearance of our home.To Jackie and Noel, I say thank you, and a special tip of the hat, and our appreciation, to the crew. Couldn’t have gone better.Edit: Forgot to mention, done in 1 day.
