Comment: Answered all my questions over multiple emails before even visiting the property to give me quote. Helped me find the perfect replacement for our 30 year old skylight. Started and finished the job in the timeframe he quoted! Shouldnt need to replace the roof again any time soon but if I need any other services he provides I will definitely be contacting him again!

Comment: If you are looking for a professional roofing company, look no further and call James right away. I called James for roofing inspection/repair after detecting a leak from the roof, and he showed up within an hour! He explained the root cause very clearly and walked over the house to make sure there are no other leaks. James fixed the issues right away and took photos/videos of before and after to explain what has been done. He is a very honest, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about roofing. His pricing is also very reasonable and fair; nobody could beat his pricing and quality of work. I did get a few quotes to repair the roof and Jame’s quote was significantly less than the others. I am very pleased with his integrity, honesty, and professionalism. James Costello Roofing will be the company I will contact for any future roof repairs and eventually new roof installation. Thank you very much, James.

Comment: James was an outstanding contractor to work with. I was not at the house but he quickly provided an estimate. All the work done professionally and he sent pictures detailing everything. Highly recommend.

Comment: The home inspector for our new-to-us Big Bear cabin had said the roof had significant life left yet there were a few shingles missing. So when we were looking for someone to repair the roof, another top roofer in Big Bear sent out a guy who only looked from the ground & said we needed a new roof & quoted us a very high price without even measuring the roof area. When we asked Top Roofer, he quoted us an even higher price, again without even looking at the roof. James was the only one we talked to who would even consider going onto the roof and repairing it. When he did, he was able to show us exactly what the issues were & do a temporary fix. James quote for a new roof that was about 40% less than Top Roofer, and he was able to do the job the following week. We were away while he did the work, but James sent us daily photos and updates and was very professional. He & his guys also did a great job cleaning up. Very happy customers & highly recommend!

Comment: One of the best things about using James is during winter storms I don’t have to worry about my roof while I’m not there.He was easy to communicate with and extremely thorough with everything that needed to be done in the repairs and replacement of our roof. Daily he would send pictures and updates during the job. We truly appreciated the clean up after the job was completed, I honestly only found maybe 3 items missed. By comparison I was still finding so many nails etc for 4 months from the roofers who did our main house down the hill.We were extremely happy with completed project and the services we received from Roofing by James Costello

Comment: Just got a new roof, our cabin is Happy! James and his crew were professional, courteous and so hard working. He is competitively priced and finished ahead of schedule. A monster satellite dish removed, woodpecker damage patched and painted all with pristine workmanship at fair price. Even did some additional work he didnt have to. James also registered our roof warrantee at completion. This guy went the extra mile for us and the job site was left clean. We definitely will use him again. Thank you James!
