Roof Doctors answered my, were responsive, did exactly what they said they would at the precise time, showed up on time, did a terrific, comprehensive estimate, then did the work quickly, with a polite, efficient, professional and friendly crew. They did a nice job of cleaning up after the work as well. I havent seen the pics yet, but as this is our second experience, I suspect its a job well done.

I spoke with the company and they came out to inspect the situation. They honored our agreement and did some extra work without charge that fully addressed the situation so I am quite pleased. Its rare for a contractor to stand by his warranty these days.

Comment: When we discovered a roof leak in our home during a heavy downpour we called Roof Doctors. They were professional and more importantly kept their word. I had a roofing tech at my home in a few hours to install a tarp until repairs could be made. The next day Roof Doctors found more roof storm damage and helped get me a full roof replacement through my insurance and all I had to pay was the deductible. The roof install went smoothly and when the job was done they left our property spotless.

At the time, we were told by the previous owners that they had been a small leak in the master bath a few years back that was repaired.It turns out that the repair was to the drywall and not the actual leak. During the last set of continuous heavy rain, we developed an audible leak in the master bath.I called Roof Doctors to have it inspected and hopefully repaired. They sent an inspector out that day. The inspector was very thorough, took lots of pictures and explained what the leak was from and what needed to be repair.Roof Doctors came out a few days later, repaired the leak (including new paper, battens and resealing the attic vents that were causing the water to run under the tile. The repair work was performed by Jake who was very professional, and did a great job. Lastly, Roof Doctors honored the repair under the roof warranty we optioned for during our purchase.We are extremely happy with the experience we have had with Roof Doctors and highly recommend.

Comment: I had three leaks on my roof ,Roof Doctors came out to inspect, saw that I needed to replace two boots ,and replace all my ridge caps because they were in bad shape ,and they felt that it was the cause of the third leak near the ridge,they set up a date came out ,and preformed the repairs , everything seemed fine ,but I knew I had to make sure about the ridge cap leak ,seeing how they werent entirely sure that replacing all the ridge caps would fix that leak for sure ,so I made sure to go into the attic ,when we had rain to make sure that those leaks were gone , sure enough the leak near the ridge cap was still there ,but the ones that I had by the boot caps were gone ,so they did a excellent job there.I called them up that day ,and left a voicemail telling them what I found , I knew I had a 1 year warranty on just the repairs that were made to stop those leaks, they immediately responded via email , and a phone call telling me that they will take care of the issue,heres to hoping that this repair will take care of that leak .I truly appreciate the quick response, professionalism,and the honoring of the 1 year warranty ,they never tried to weasel out of it ,like alot of other companies ,they never threw up their hands, and said I had to replace my entire roof ,like alot of other roofing companies, and they didnt charge me a arm ,and a leg for the repairs, they also gave me ample time to pay for the repairs ,which they didnt need to do but did so anyway, I highly recommend Roof Doctors for your roofing needs.

Comment: I called Roof Doctors after two prior home roof repairs didnt work. Anyone who has dealt with roof leaks knows they can be very hard to pinpoint (even with reputable roof repair companies). Troy came out to my house within a couple of days and explained to me what the problem was and that I should receive a report that night. Not only did I receive a report by email the same night, it came with a professional contract (oh my, what businesses have to deal with in CA) and several pictures. I called to schedule an appointment and I received my contract to sign right away with a date of repair within a week or so. The office staff is very pleasant and helpful in finalizing your contract (I spoke with Whitney/Chloe and then Jessica finalized my paperwork). Today, Jake arrived at my house at 8:00 am sharp and began work immediately. He explained what he was going to do and showed me pictures before and after it was fixed (even a video). He also cleaned up all areas of my house/yard before leaving and told me to call and ask for him if there were any problems (although he didn’t anticipate any). I truly could not have asked for a more professional roof company experience and Im hopeful this is the last time I have to spray my ceiling with Kilz (lol). Roof Doctors has been in business since 1987 and I think that speaks volumes about their company. I highly recommend them. THANKS ROOF DOCTORS...

Comment: UPDATE (changed to 4 stars):I contacted the office directly after my findings with a third party roofer. They sent out their original inspector (Tom Morris) again and he did find that the previous contractor (who is now no longer with them) did not make the repairs as per the work-order. To resolve the issues, they sent out their best contractor Jake. Tom and Jake apologized profusely for the slip-up and forwarded their owners apology along to me. They also complimentarily took care of some other matters that were not originally on the original work-order. Jake was a top notch roofer and all-round good and honest person. His work was thorough and he went above and beyond on the job. He even documented all his work and showed me the pictures of all the areas he worked on after he had finished. He gave me a detailed debrief of his work and what he found/worked on.Although this shouldnt have happened in the first place, I give them credit for taking accountability and fixing their mistake (which was in actuality solely the responsibility of the original shoddy contractor that worked the job). Mind you, the original work repair was from 3 years ago before I discovered the scam work that was done by him. The Roof Doctors still came out and fixed the issues on their dime. In conclusion, I recommend that if you do decide to go with the Roof Doctors, you should personally ask for Tom to inspect your roof and for Jake (the roofing contractor) to perform the work. All in all, it worked out for me. They are a large company that stands behind their work.Although they gave me the five star treatment on the second time they came out to fix the mistake, they lost one star on the ratings because of the hassle and the headaches I had to deal with from something that shouldnt have happened to begin with. I have no reservations about using them again in the future.ORIGINAL REVIEW (rated 1 star):Avoid at all cost. Scam artist. Property managers hired them to fix a leak on the roof. They were supposed to also repair the underlayment. However, after an inspection from a different roofing company. The second roofing contractor found out that Roof Doctors never fixed the leak. They simply glued some tiles together. The underlayment wasnt touched or fixed at the repair site. I will be taking up legal action.

Comment: After last nights storm Im compelled to follow up on my recent experience with Brett and Paul of Roof Doctors. Roof Doctors initially repaired my roof in March of 2017 with no further leaks detected until November of 2018, winter 2017 was very mild. I was able to work with Brett to have the work re-done which was incredibly generous considering it have been over 18 months since they came out. These repairs were completed within a couple business days of speaking with Brett. I thought I was in the clear until we had a day of heavy rain on Sunday January 6th. I had two leaks in my ceiling that night. I contacted Brett on Monday and he was on my roof before 8AM Tuesday morning! After a much more comprehensive inspection Brett determined that there is a much more larger issue with my roof and gave me an honest assessment of what I need to do to permanently resolve the issues. Paul and Brett spent the next several hours making repairs to the roof in the rain. Im more than happy to report that these repairs have held up to the 3 inches of rain over the last 2.5 days. I couldnt be happier with the outcome. Roof Doctors clearly stands by their work and has done so. The customer service experience has been truly exceptional.

Comment: Troy inspected the whole roof and said we only needed repairs, not a total roof replacement. I appreciated his honesty. He took lots of pictures and explained what he found in an easy to understand way. It gives us peace of mind going into the winter knowing that the roof still has a lot of life, once we get it repaired. The repair team did a great job also. They replaced the tiles that were cracked, instead of simply sealing the cracked part. And they were able to find one remaining box of old tiles to match the roof! It looks great!
