Comment: Premium Roofing Systems is a great company. They are a Master Elite installer from GAF (huge shingle company), which allows them to offer an extended warranty through GAF (25yr/50yr). Their own employees are the ones who do all the work, it is not contracted out. From Thurston the estimator, to Sam and Stephanie in the office, to Erwin the foreman, to Carlos the experienced roofer (who figured out how to manage a challenging part of my roof), to Adrian the owner who oversaw my installation, I was extremely happy with every step! They managed to tear down my old roof and install the new roof in about 3 days. It was incredible to watch their entire team work together every step of the way. I was able to use the GAF reflective shingles, which should help with keeping my house cooler. They were fairly priced and did an outstanding job!

Comment: Normally, when a business comes to my home to complete a project, I find there is at least one, or sometimes, two key people who drive that project to conclusion. When any kind of issue arises the key people come in to get things back on track.With Premium Roofing I never saw that person, but I am sure they exist. Instead, I found myself engaged with a smooth-running operation. All communications were professional. Deliveries were promised with deadlines; then my expectations were invariably exceeded.I contracted with Premium Roofing to replace the underlayment on my concrete tile roof. From the moment I contacted PR, communication was excellent. My project came with the extra issue of having to contract with my solar company to remove the panels prior to PR coming to do their work. The only snag came because I failed to get the panels removed in time for the original date given by PR to begin the project. It was PR that kept after me to get it done and PR that rescheduled my project according to the date that I finally got from the solar company. Before the project had even begun, I was impressed by PRs ability to coordinate with me to get my part done.When the day arrived for PR to begin, the crew arrived on time. Ulises was the project manager on site for the reconditioning of my roof. Again, Ulises displayed the excellent communication skills I had already associated with PR. He kept me informed all along the way and answered all my questions satisfactorily.The job was completed ahead of the promised time and the resulting roof was beyond my expectations. And no, I never saw that key person step in; what I saw instead was a team of professionals who seemingly worked together effortlessly to get excellent results.

Comment: Hardly know where to start, I have been putting off replacing our roof for many, many years, but after the recent past downpours we were so tired of covering the furniture in the living room and putting out the buckets, it was time.I interviewed four roofing companies and one stood out above the rest. Although price was a strong concern, it carried no more weight than how I felt about the professional, communications and products the company displayed.Premium Roofing Systems met all the requirements. Their representative David Cambray actually walked my roof (the other roofers did not) and pointed out what he saw and explained all my options.After signing contracts and setting a proposed start date, the company kept me well informed of the actual starting date. The project took three days, the workmanship was precise and in an orderly manner. Even for the initial quote, he was early for our appointment.Communication is very important to me as well. Everyone I was in communication with kept things simple and to the point. They never made me feel bad for asking too many questions or having concerns. They also replied to any phone calls, emails, or text messages in a timely manner.Everyone had a really great work ethic. The workers seemed happy to be working. Our roof was in bad shape. And no one made us feel like we were asking too much to have fixed.We also really appreciate all of the options they gave us. Comment: We hired Premium Roofing to replace the aging room on our duplex rental property here in Newport Beach. They did an excellent job.I Have repaired and replaced roofs so I was able to carefully monitor and inspect their work. I climbed on the roof two times to evaluate their work. Once after the old roofing was removed and again after most of the new roof was installed. In both cases the quality of their work was excellent.They also suggested how they could modify the roof by adding an eve over a window that has been a source of leaks. Their proposed solution was excellent, and their modification was very well done. The result looked like it had always been present. They did stucco repair and painting to blend in the change seamlessly.The supervisor did an excellent job of keeping us informed at every step of the process. There were no surprises, and the work was completed promptly and on schedule.I am very happy with the work that Premium Roofing did for us. The are competent and professional.

Comment: Dave and the Premium Roofing team which I worked with (Ulysses and Edwin) were responsive, professional and helped stop a leak until the roof work could be completed due to the historic rain weve recently had in Orange County. Throughout the roof replacement process I was kept updated and informed of current progress and necessary changes to plans, no surprises! The finished result is stunning and had neighbors complementing my roof. At the end of the day the workmanship and professionalism were definitely a selling point to me as well. Definitely recommend!

Comment: 12/30/2022 Review:About a month after having our roof replaced, we noticed there was some leaking on the back of our house and thought it had to do with the recent roof replacement. We were worried and called to have the the leak area inspected to determine the source. Ulisses and his team immediately came out to inspect the area and confirmed that it was not related to the roof (thankfully). Although the leak was not related to the roof, we were extremely fortunate that Ulisses and his team were willing and able to fix the area that was causing the leak at no extra cost. Any other company wouldve used this opportunity to charge an arm and a leg so I am so thankful that was not the case with Ulisses and his team. I cant stress enough what a great experience it has been working with Premium Roofing Systems.11/21/2022 Review:Recently had my roof replaced and am so grateful to have come across Dave, Erwin and the Premium Roofing Systems team through a referral. The team worked on the roof from Tuesday-Thursday, which was much faster than I was expecting. Comment: I researched 14 roofing companies. I contacted 10 of them for estimates…only six responded to me. Of those six, I researched Yelp reviews, Google reviews, and checked BBB records. I then asked four for estimates, which were comparable. The estimate experience by Premium Roofing Systems was the most professional by far. David came out with sample boards, a folder of information, and was great at explaining the process and answering questions. His presentation was very impressive. In addition, I had a very detailed, professional estimate emailed to me within 24 hours.The actual roofing crew that came out was outstanding, as well! They worked efficiently, were polite, cleaned up better than I expected, and the roof came out beautifully! I cannot say enough good things about this company. I am 100% pleased and would recommend them to anyone (in fact I already did!).

Comment: I was very impressed with this company. There was no hard sell when they put together the estimate and of the 5 quotes we got this was the best value. This job included removing the old shake roof, replacing a lot of termite damaged wood including all facia boards, installing new plywood, shingles and roof vents. All the replaced wood, vents and trim were painted to match the original color scheme. They managed to complete all the work in three days on a multi level roof of approximately 2300 sq ft and they also replaced the plywood and felt on an additional flat roof. The project manager Ulises kept us informed of the progress every step of the way. All in all a great experience.

Comment: Premium roofing systems was one of 4 bids I got when finally deciding it was time to replace the roof. They came out and bid within 48hrs of my initial call. Once the bid was accepted, they showed up early everyday and unbelievably it only took about 2 and half work days to finish the job in its entirety. I was always well informed by the project coordinator Ulisses and was not up sold on anything that wasn’t needed. In addition, I was very surprised at how clean they were. Everyday the yard was blown and swept prior to completion. Dealing with as many contractors and companies as I have, they exceeded my expectations. Thanks again!

He explained the condition of the roof, shared the why behind the potential issues if I chose the keep it longer. He shared the different kind of shingle companies and material. He ensured that I understood everything he was sharing before moving on to the next topic. We talked about pricing. He offered a quote and informed that this is a quote based on observations from current state. The quote can vary based on removing the layer and exposing more truths. I understood and was prepared.He offered his recommendation but empowered me to make the final decision. I selected the Presidential Shake TL Solaris. He shared with me that the work would take 5 days and that his team would ensure that the area would be cleaned before leaving the site daily.Once the work began, I met Ulisses and his team. They were fast and efficient. Ulisses invited me to join the crew up on the roof to show what was under the shingles. I had rotted wood, boards that were not connected to each other which would have caused major damage once the shingles failed. It required replacing a lot of wood. Ulisses was thoughtful of only replacing what needed to be replaced and not all of the roof.As I was exposed to the terrible work from the previous roofers and also the damage done by termites, I felt more confident with my decision to move forward with Premium Roofing Systems. Comment: Our home had some leaks coming into the attic. Premium Roofing Systems was extremely prompt and professional. Dave worked up an estimate (explaining that once he opened the roof he might have a different recommendation), included photos/different options/prices/material costs, and scheduled the work when it was convenient for us.After they opened the roof, they were able to trace the source of the leak (due to aging flashing around the chimney). Dave took photos and explained the additional work and small change in the cost. Everything was buttoned up and fixed in one day for a reasonable price.UPDATE: We had a different leak at the top of the chimney. Again Dave was available immediately to inspect and diagnose the problem. He recommended a short-term fix (and provided an estimate for the long-term fix in case it was needed). He didnt even charge us for the work.I recommend Premium Roofing Systems to anyone who needs help with their roof. Quick, professional, and reasonable.

Once the job started the job supervisor and employees of Premium Roofing exhibited more of the same qualities. Comment: Here are the reasons that I chose Premium Roofing Syetems to replace my roof as they are certified by single manufacturer as a Master Elite for excellent installation, training, and customer awards. Like others, I also checked their ratings and reviews. Not only do they have good reviews and ratings, they are also professional, efficient, and customer service oriented …. They walked me through the process. They applied the necessary city permit and got my roof passed city inspection.On the first day, they demolished my old roof and saw what wood needed to be replaced. They got the material right away and started to replace. Then, they put down the underlayment. On the 2nd day, the first thing in the morning, all shingles were delivered on my roof. In no time, they completed my new roof on 3rd day around 2 or 2:30 pm. They demolished my old roof, replaced all bad wood, and installed my roof so quickly. Excellent team work to get the job nicely done.They took time to clean up, examined their own work, and got final touch. I am pleased to have them to replace my roof. They did an excellent job. Comment: Closed on my first home in mid-March and after the heavy rains we had a few months ago I noticed some water damage in the living room ceiling. So Yelped a few roofing companies and Adrian from Premium Roofing Systems was one of the guys that came out to give me an estimate. He inspected the roof and came back with the same suggestions as another company, but at a better price. He actually also gave me a third option of doing a partial tile re-lay that the first company didnt provide suggest.We ended up going with the partial tile re-lay and he was able to schedule me to start work right away. PRS came out and took care of the job in 2 days. We were also able to save some money by having them remove the tiles from a deck we were removing to replace the broken tiles on the house. After the work was complete the job supervisor also informed me that he didnt charge me for a piece of wood that the crew had to replace because whoever the previous owner hired to do the roof didnt use the correct piece and instead nailed a bunch of pieces of wood together to get the size needed I guess.The only feedback I would provide is that a little more communication would have been helpful, but thats only really because I am a first time home owner and had no idea what was going on half the time. Just a heads up text when the crew would be arriving and when they are done for the day would have been helpful. Overall, we are happy with the work and price for the job.(COVID note: My wife and I are pregnant with our first child and we have been extremely careful of having people come to work on the house. Both Adrian and the job supervisor came out wearing masks when interacting with me and my wife, but some of their guys on the crew had their masks off when working on the roof. Since they were outside and we understood that it would be difficult to be working on the roof in the heat with a masks on. My wife and I were inside the whole time and kept a safe distance from the rest of the crew so we werent worried.)

Comment: First, I have to start this review by stating I received 4 other roofing quotes prior to contacting Premium Roofing Systems. My wife and I met with David Cambray for our last estimate before making a decision. Davids pitch was 100 times better than the other companies we met with in every way. He was professional, honest, and very knowledgeable. We did not feel pressured, and David ensured we were getting everything we wanted and needed. After our meeting with David, we knew right away we were going with Premium Roofing Systems.No more than a couple days later, David notified me they would be starting the work on my roof. The foreman managing the project was Ulisses Ballesteros. Like David, Ulisses was very professional and knowledgeable. He was upfront with information, and he kept us informed throughout the entire project. If something needed to be brought up to our attention, Ulisses notified us right away. Ulisses and his crew were very impressive and efficient. They completed my roof in 3 days! Words cannot do justice describing the outstanding work they did for my roof. We are very happy we decided to go with Premium Roofing Systems. I guarantee you will not go wrong with choosing these guys for your roofing needs.

Comment: Looking for roofing contractor can be hard, especially one that will deliver his promise. I got about 4 quotes because my roof required a lot of work. Adrian and Premium Roofing came out and gave me a fair price and I decided to go with him. His professionalism and GAF Master Elite Certification convinced me Premium Roofing Systems was the one! I was very happy with their flexibility and their workmanship. They were willing to wok with me and my solar company! At the end of every day my property was cleaned from roof debris . He kept his promise and was able to complete the work within the contract time frame. I would definitely hire them again, I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Comment: Adrian did a fine job of putting together a great team. Dave was there for my parents from the beginning to the end. Dave was very accommodating and willing to work with me and my parents to get a new roof installed for their mobile home. Dave was very understanding and he thoroughly addressed any concerns that my parents had at the time. Dave rarely missed picking up the phone when I called. If he was not available, he would try to reach out as soon as he could. I find that kind of professionalism is quite important and is a needed aspect of any successful company. Irwin, who was supervising the crew at the time, graciously answered any questions that I had. Stephanie was very nice and always helpful. The project was completed in a timely fashion. Overall, this is a great team and Premium Roofing Systems did a great job. Based on my experience, I would not have a problem recommending them to friends and neighbors.

Comment: We’d done a lot of research and quoting prior to our roof replacement. Gladly we made our decision with Adrian from PRS. He explained everything briefly but fully understandable. The new roof was installed and finished only in 3 days after they get the permit for our roof from city. What’s more, he has brought us meeting up with the great GAF team and helping us to also get the solar power system installed at the same time with the roof. It’s the best solar we have ever seen compared to all our friends’. The panels are really thin and flat almost the same height with the shingles. The PRS team is very nice & hard working, they cleaned up everything before leaving everyday. We have recommended the company to some of our friends in case they consider of having their roof done or ever needed solar system later. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and skillfully job done. The new roof has really transformed our house.

Comment: Adrian and his crew went out of their way to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. Starting with the estimate, Adrian explained the process from start to finish. Of the four roofers who gave me estimates, Adrian was the most personable and informative. When rain delayed the start of the job, his crew came and covered the leaking areas before the weather turned bad. They kept me updated with phone calls on both days that were delayed by the weather. Once the skies cleared and the work began, the crew arrived promptly every morning, worked throughout the day, and cleaned up after themselves every day. The job was completed in a timely manner, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the work done. I would recommend Premium Roofing Systems without hesitation.

Comment: Adrian and Premium Roofing were very professional every step of the way. I had half a dozen companies provide estimates for my roofing replacement and saw a wide range of professionalism. Of all estimates, Adrian was the only company that fully explained the mechanics of ventilation to me so I understood the importance of each piece. They also were the only company that discussed the underlying wood and pointed out sag on other houses in the neighborhood and likely cause and fix. They were in the middle of all companies in regards to pricing, but gave the most comfortable feeling about the probability of satisfaction. In the end it came down to two companies, which were the only two companies that took the time at first visit to explain the materials that they use. I chose premium for two main reasons. 1 They provided me with previous customers that I could call and discuss their experience. 2 Start dates and work duration. None of the other companies could start for 4-6 weeks and some said they would take up to 10 days. Premium could start in two weeks and finish in 3-4 days.Premium put tarps over my leaking spots the day we agreed on a contract and started the roofing job two weeks later. They showed up to the house on time, worked with my tenants requirements and needs, were very respectful to my property and tenants property and time, put plastic sheeting down after demo to protect against rain, Put plastic sheeting over items in the garage to protect my tenants garage items and cleaned up every day. I received absolutely no complaints from my tenants. The job started at 8am on day 1 and took a single day for demo. They were done by 4:30pm on the first day and then the first inspection was completed. 2nd day they put all shingles down and basically completed the job on day 2. Day 3 was final inspection. The final bill was just over $200 more than the estimate, only because I asked them to put additional fascia boards in place in two different location.I am very satisfied with my experience with Premium Roofing and would definitely recommend them to others. The roof looks very nice now. Obviously with a roof, time will tell and until we get more heavy rains it remains untested. I am quite confident though, that if I have any issues or requests in the future they will be right there to take care of them.
