Comment: We just had Pacific Coast Roofing replace our roof, and we were very impressed with their service, every step of the way!When we asked for a quote, they responded promptly, came out to inspect our existing roof, followed up with an itemized estimate that was reasonable, and we asked them to proceed. Brian advised as to our choice of roof shingles, and let us know what to expect in terms of scheduling a work day.On the day of construction, we were very impressed with the work crew; they were all courteous, informative about what they were doing, and efficient. They were careful to protect our plants from cast-off roof materials, and also cleared the grounds of materials from the old roof.Thanks to Brian and the whole crew for an easy, worry-free process. Comment: All around great company to work with. Brian was very knowledgeable and upfront about possible problems that theyve seen in the past and pricing. We had additional chimney dry rot that was also taken care of for a reasonable price. Multiple leaks in the roof were found and the bad wood was replaced. There were several emails while work was going on, and plenty of pictures. Really a great experience and would highly recommend.

Comment: I collected quotes from 5-6 roofers in the East Bay, but Pacific Coast impressed me the most. Other companies gave incomplete quotes or options (not including the detached garage or gutters, for example) or were outright rude on the phone. While not the absolute cheapest of the bunch, Brian and Pacific Coast had the strongest communication start to finish, and a better warranty to boot. The on-sight crew and crew leads were on-time, friendly, and professional. The roof looks great, and it has already performed flawlessly under a couple major storms!

Comment: After a storm, I asked Pacific coast roofing service to inspect our roof for any damage or leak. Brian was very responsive and provided an honest evaluation of the roof. Comment: I reviewed Pacific Coast a few years ago when they installed our new roof. They did excellent work then and still do. We had a disastrous exterior fire in September most likely due to PG&E equipment. Our local fire department chopped a hole in our roof to make sure there was no heat or flames inside the house. We weren’t on the schedule but Brian promised to work us in and get the job done before the winter rains. He kept his promise sending his carpenter to replace the charred fascia and roofers to patch the hole. I will always enthusiastically recommend Pacific Coast Roofing without reservation!

Comment: They did a beautiful job on my 2 roofs, in 1.5 days. The owner was very responsive, the (large!) crew was unfailingly polite, worked with us on details, took obvious pride in their work and left the place very clean. The pricing was transparent, there were no surprises, and when we decided to keep the old downspouts (new gutters), the owner reversed that charge. Out of 6 bids, PCRS was the only one that didnt charge labor for any damage discovered during the process, which of course it was and we only paid for some lumber. They made it easy!

Comment: We contacted Pacific Coast Roofing Service because an inspection of our home showed damaged roofing tiles and rotted facia boards. Brian was quick to respond and have a team member some to our home to perform the inspection. After the inspection we received a detailed report with a ton of pictures showing the trouble spots. Brain suggest a repair service versus a complete replacement of the roof. The team showed up on time, performed the work as promised and left the yard around our home cleaner than it was when they arrived. After the service was performed we received another report of what was done to our roof along with before and after photos of the areas that were repaired. WE could not be more happy with the service we received from Pacific Coast Roofing Service. We would highly recommend them for any roofing or gutter needs you may have.

Comment: We received quotes for a whole roof replacement from two other roofing companies and although Pacific Coast was priced a little higher than the other two, we went with them because they had the best extended warranty (which we elected for) and the least amount of hidden fees. They also have a very extensive portfolio which was provided to us.Communication from beginning to end was all via email and seamless. We were given instructions on how to prepare for the day of installation and what to expect. The job was finished in about 5 hours and they cleaned up as if they were never there.If you’re thinking about hiring Pacific Coast, do it!

Comment: We got three bids and selected Pacific Coast Roofing. I love these guys! As others have said, the experience was terrific from start to finish as they installed a roof on our new garage:Excellent communication (via email because cell service is not reliable).Brian asked lots of questions, so we felt confident about the bid (the other bids were vague and verbal). He also sent Johnny, the estimator, to help us select shingle color to match the house. (Choosing the right color on our own was surprisingly hard but Johnny did it in about three seconds.)Very competitive pricing!Smooth scheduling, and they arrived on time.Wonderfully professional workmanship. The roof looks great, and the installers met my husbands standards -- which isnt easy :) This includes setting up the downspouts but leaving them off because the garage doesnt have siding yet.Amazing service! Brian made sure one of the assigned workers could translate, which helped me feel comfortable about conveying details. I had asked them to fix a weird corner on the house where the rain missed the gutter. They not only did that, they also fixed a few loose vent-flashing screws and added caulk on the screws. I think they may have even replaced one flashing that was a bit bent and not screwed down.Last but not least...see how tidy the left half of the driveway is? They did that, as well as cleaned up after themselves.The garage-to-be is looking like a real garage now, and our worries about rain are much lower.

Comment: Pacific Coast Roofing provided a thorough inspection of our 30 year old tile roof. They offered a fixed price for the inspection and repair of commonly discovered issues. Their service included removing tiles from valleys, roof edges, fireplace, skylights, and vents. They replaced flashing where required, repaired damaged plywood around the fireplace, and any broken tiles as part of their service. They also repaired edge rafters and edge plywood at an agreed extra cost. They kept me informed at all times and even provided photo documentation of the issues they found and their repair.The three man crew was on time and worked efficiently to complete the work despite the hot weather.All communication was done via texting with attached estimates, photos, and a final receipt upon payment. Their was always excellent documentation. I recommend Pacific Coast Roofing especially Brian, Leo, and their crew for any residential roofing job.

I had asked for them to install a vent for a planned remodel in the kitchen. They happened to install it in a bad spot, directly over a 2x4. I called them and they were able to relocate the vent within a business day of calling.I really cant thank you enough for making this otherwise stressful remodel, that much easier - a year later from the install.
