Comment: We had a leaking roof, and gave Brian a call. He came out promptly, and immediately identified the issues that were causing our roof to leak. He went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did he fix the leaking area, but he replaced all the broken tiles on the rest of the roof and cut back all the valleys so that water can flow properly. His crew even identified another area on the roof that was leaking and fixed it. His attention to detail and craftsmanship is excellent, and hard to find these days. Him and his crew really took their time and did things right. I couldnt be happier with the work that was done, and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of roof repairs.

He took the time to explain what was happening. He took pictures to show the damage and I was relieved to hear the cost. Comment: Once the shock of discovering ceiling damage from water during the recent period of heavy rain and wind set in, the next task was hopefully finding an ethical and competent roofer to restore the integrity of our 20+ year old roof. We were so fortunate to read about Latchford Roofing and to meet Brian Latchford. Following his assessment of our roof problems and his explanation of the proven corrections and improvements he would make to our roof, it was clear that, while the most expensive of the bidders with whom we met, this was the company that had the best understanding of the problems and and the approach to doing the best job for us. This included many pictures documenting problem areas and ,also, the repairs that were undertaken. Well trained(and courteous) quality employees and the use of quality materials resulted in a clean and effective result. Our repairs also included significant correction to a shoddily installed and leaking dormer. Latchford Roofing has such confidence in their work that it comes with a 15 year warranty. Comment: We had Latchford Roofing repair our roof after interviewing five different, highly recommended roofing companies. Brian was the only one out of the five that would work around our roof mounted Alumawood patio cover without asking us to detach it for their work to proceed. He was also the only one that recommended repairing all our tight valleys rather than the one that was causing the leak in our garage.We are now very happy customers after two heavy rains that occured immediately after Latchford completed their job. Not only is the garage leak gone, but we also no longer have water pouring under the roof tiles, bipassing the gutter and pouring over the fascia board.Latchford showed up as promised during an extremely rainy season and tight schedule, finished as promised, left a clean job site after both days of work. We are looking forward to a roof that should last as long as we live here if not many more. We recommend Brians company without reservation.

Comment: Ive always heard that you get what you pay for. I learned a good lesson as far as roofers are concerned, For over 2 and 1/2 years I have been dealing with a leaking roof that the last contractor has been unable to repair after many attempts, not only that, he destroyed that section of roof and facia board that I paid him to replace. But he was cheap!!! I finally bit the bullet and called Latchford, they looked honest from their reviews and had been in business a long time. They were not cheap but they did a very professional job. Brian is a very nice and hard working owner who worked right alongside his men. Four of them worked 2 full days to repair the damage that the previous contractor had done. Did a great job removing and replacing the facia board that the previous contractor had messed up. I finally got to enjoy a rain this past week. I am very happy with the results and would recommend them to anyone with a problem. Beware of the $500 repairs!!! Also, my previous contractor had 45 Five Star reviews on Google! Hmmm? Thanks Brian

Comment: I called and left the company a message. Brian called back shortly after and set up a day to come out to inspect my roof due to a leak after a pretty good rain. I had a roof leak several years prior but did not have the dry wall replaced because even though the inspector said there was no visible issue and was probably rain going under the tiles from the wind. I was weary about his inspection but at the time I was unemployed so could not pay for a roof inspection. It took several winters but the roof finally leaked again probably due to the plastic tarp withered away and the sand bags deteriorating leaving sand on the tiles.So Brain let me know what kind of work he was going to do as well as replacing broken tiles at other sections of the roof. He also said that all debris would be hauled away. So I went ahead with the work and it took them 2 days to complete. I havent been able to inspect the roof due to it being a 2 story home and too hard to see the roof from the ground. But the work has a 15 year warranty so I wasnt too worried about the quality of the work.The only complaint I have is that the workers threw the sand left from the sand bags all over my yard. I only found out after a couple of weeks when I was doing some yard work removing some weeds. I found sand all over the side yard and front yard. So I guess the sand on the roof was not part of the debris to be hauled away. At least they could have placed the sand in one spot where it would have been easier to clean up myself. Im ready to lay down some gopher wire mesh on the front yard before I plant some grass so now I have to scrape as much sand off as I can.

Comment: Living in Southern California in 2021 is great, until one wakes up at 6:00am to learn that a relatively new (8-year old) house’s master bedroom has a puddle of water on the wood floor.With the roof covered and the water removed, we called Latchford Roofing for help. Brian was accommodating in all ways, inquiring as to the best time to stop in, assuring us that he’d offer an estimate for services, and that—if we desired—he could start very soon.Brian was right on time for the estimate, which seemed fair for the work required, and we scheduled the repairs.With three exceptionally competent roofing experts, the repairs were completed in less than two back-to-back partial days. Because the original roof installation was improperly performed, Latchford needed to re-do much of the original fastening, replacing felt paper that now conforms to standards, and removed and reinstalled the solar panels.We are extremely happy with the work, and will recommend Latchford Roofing to our neighbors—knowing our neighbors will unfortunately also run into roofing trouble.Thank-you for the 5 + + service!

Comment: I had four companies provide on-site estimates to repair a portion of a roof in a 30 year old tract home. Owner Brian was the only person who noticed flaws in the original roof construction and knew how to repair them. My tile is not manufactured anymore but Brian had intact tile remnants in his warehouse from prior roof jobs that were used to replace any cracked tile on my entire roof. The 3-man work crew labored through the July heat and were always responsive to my questions and concerns.The bid estimate was the highest I received (by about $500 over two other companies) but I felt the knowledge, professionalism, and having my tile available were worth it. Remember that $500 on a $300,000 asset is a drop in a bucket.Definitely contact Latchford Roofing!

Comment: Our roof in Riverside (tract home) had water getting under the felt paper in several locations, likely due to improper installation 20 years ago. Brian recommended doing a complete re-roof so we hired him for the job. I also had Brian repair a rafter tail that had been damaged from years of exposure to water. His crew showed up on time and on the dates promised, worked hard throughout, and made sure to clean up daily. Brian has great attention to detail and really knows his stuff and takes pride in his work. He was also incredibly responsive to any questions I had throughout the process. Anyone who has had roof issues around here probably knows that some companies wont respond to inquiries, or dont exactly inspire confidence when they do come out to give estimates. None of this occurred with Brian. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs roof work done, especially if you want to hire someone who knows what theyre doing and takes pride in their work.

Brian and crew were thoroughly professional, inspected every inch of the problem section of my roof, used a sophisticated infrared camera to monitor temperature changes during the testing process and found the issue. Then, they fixed it and a few other spots that they thought might leak in the future. Terrific job! I will use them again and I’ve already recommended Brian to a neighbor.

Comment: We were interested in finding a good roofing company that could come out to inspect a portion of our west facing roof that was in need of repair.We contacted Latchford Roofing and Brian came out to do the inspection. He took pictures, drew diagrams, and explained to us (in laymans terms) the problem areas and how they could be fixed. It was important to us that we understood exactly what work he felt needed to be done as well as Brian knowing what work we wanted to have done. After some time going over all aspects of the job, which Brian said could be done in two days, we hired his company and set up a date and time for them to start it. Brian and his crew showed up on time, worked steadily throughout the two days, cleaned up areas as needed, and were very respectful of us and our home. They did exactly as their contract had stated and as we had agreed upon during our initial conversation. The entire crew were all professional, respectful and friendly. We HIGHLY recommend this roofing company and appreciate the great work they did for us. We know from experience how hard it is to find a good contractor so we couldnt be more pleased that we got it right this time with Latchford Roofing & Construction. Give them a call if youre in need of a great roofer...you wont be sorry.

Comment: Wow! I don’t even know where to start!... Brian and his crew are AMAZING!! Their response time is impeccable, their customer service and work is out of this world!!! A friend of mine referred Latchford roofing to me and wouldn’t recommend anyone else! She had a huge disaster with repairing her roof through somebody else before she found Latchford. She calls him the Obi Wan Kenobi of roofs! I’ll agree with her! He and his team are outstanding! They are very thorough, take their time to ensure you are getting the best service and work! Not one spec of dust was left behind! Very clean!! I can’t say enough about this company! High five! 20 stars if I could!!! Don’t waste your time or money going through anyone else. The property had a leak and the owner identified the large issue with pictures, which gave transparency with a stressful situation due to ongoing weather. The owner conducted his crew without delays and even had them work overtime to get the job completed just before another huge storm hit. I cannot tell you how many roofers failed to even callback, and two failed to show up for an appt. My wife and I were impressed with the depth of his knowledge, his professionalism, and his thoroughness in evaluating and proposing a solution to the multiple leaks we were experiencing in our 20 year old house. Mr. Latchford was one of three proposals/bids that we received. He was chosen despite being more expensive than the other two. It was apparent to us that his bid was higher because of the thoroughness of his assessment of the problem and the quality and thoroughness of the proposed repairs.
