Comment: Before being referred to Jack Tafoya and his team at JL Ray, I had reached out to a handful of roofers who either turned my business down, outright ignored me, or tried to offer me outrageously priced services that were not needed. Jack and his team immediately responded and tarpped my roof before an incoming storm to prevent further damage. As soon as it was safe, they immediately identified and fixed the issue which a previous roofer had told me was not the problem. We’ve been hit with many more storms since our roof was repaired and no more leaks, good as new! Thank you JL Ray and Jack for your timely response, professionalism, and expertise. Comment: I have used these guys twice now to do repairs on my fragile red tile roof. I got them through a referral of someone who had used them before and they were more than satisfied with their work.Of the two jobs they did for me, one was for a leak and the other when the termite company broke a number of tiles when they tented the house. Both times the work was done on time with minimum mess. Brandon, the project manager, always kept me informed on what was happening and the timeframe of the repairs.

Comment: The guys were very kind and professional. Fletcher had everything lined up and planned with me appropriately. They were very focused and seemed to really like what they were doing. The workmanship shows! The estimate was spot on. No late entry add ons to the invoice. Everyday they were here you couldn’t tell because the areas were kept clean and all debri was removed each day. They even painted my side trim for me so I didn’t have to hire a painter or get up on a ladder myself. Very grateful for their help🌸

Comment: We just had our roof redone. Our roof is concrete tile roof. Brandon from J. L. Ray Roofing company responded promptly to my call after we noticed some roof leak. He assessed the problem and we decided to do the whole roof redone once and for all. The timeline was communicated clearly and the job was done satisfactorily. The crew did excellent job whiteout much breakage of tiles and the workers were easy to work with.There was no damage to my existing gutters. Upon completion of the project they pressure washed the tiles and the driveway etc. Now my roof looks awesome like brand new tiles.J. L Ray Roofing is an honest family owned local company and I highly recommend them.

Comment: We wanted a metal standing seam roof on our house. We called at least 20 roofers and only 3 had experience with metal roofs. We got quotes from the 3 and JL Ray was the least expensive by far. They showed up when they said they were going to, all their employees had masks(for COVID) and the finished product looks great. There are 3 other houses in our tract that have metal roofs and ours looks the best. Their process covers the gap at the end of the standing seem which provides a more finished look.

Comment: JL RAY replaced our roof last week. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves every day. They were pleasant and professional. So far so good. They even came back to clean up some tar that splattered on our concrete garden wall. Tar and gravel is a serious mess. The garage could have been protected a little better but the guys did a decent job getting most of the indoor mess clean as well. So far so good on the roof. We will be curious to see if the rocks stay put during a heavy rain! I’m sure it will no longer be dripping on our heads! Thanks!

Comment: Our roof was over 30yo, the fascia constantly kept having problems, and we had been told (four years ago) that the papers under the tiles were disintegrating! Time for a new roof... We got two quotes from different companies. One of them, of course, being from Dan Mallet from JL Ray. We were really impressed with how through Dan responded to all of our questions. He had a drone and took some amazing photos from above that really helped us figure out some of our issues. After he came over, he emailed the quote over promptly and they were very competitive. We were very happy with signed with them. We were constantly kept updated with where we were on the schedule, the team was respectful and cleaned up after themselves, and they coordinated with our solar company. Really painless and easy for us! When the roof inspector came over, he said he was really impressed with how it was all constructed! The painters we hired to repaint the new wood boards said complimentary things too! Whew! Super happy we went with Dan. Definitely give him a call for a quote or for any questions you might have.
