Comment: Unless I am working in an area where they do not service, I never consider any other company because HomeGuard is the gold standard in fast, professional, and quality service. From the moment I call to schedule an inspection, I am always treated with the most respect and friendly attitude. I have never had any problem in scheduling in a reasonable time. The inspectors are always very professional, specially if the sellers or buyers are present during the inspections. The reports are easy to understand and completed within 24 hours of the inspection.

Comment: Update 4/21 I have to say that after a rough run Jessica at HomeGuard reached out and made things right. She was extremely kind apologetic and understanding. She also assured me training was being provided to the accounting team. Thank you Jessica for doing a wonderful job taking care of customers.Let me start off by saying that my interaction with this company started off fantastic. I ordered a HomeGuard Home/Roof/Pest inspection through the recommendation of our Realtor. The inspectors where fantastic! Knowledgable and provided quotes on work that needed to be done. We were so happy with them and the service we received we were going to give this company the work they quotedThis is where it all went downhill. In order to save $50 I elected to pay for the inspection directly rather than have it billed to our escrow account. I went home that evening and used the companies website they use a third party processing company to do this. I work in payment gateway and processing so this was not unusual. I entered all my payment info and submitted my order. I was then presented with a white blank screen. Okay I know there are payment glitches so I checked my bank account and I saw the charge for $615.00 to HomeGuard. I know this could be just a temporary hold so checked it the next day and funds were deducted. Cool. Done.Thats when the companies collection team was activated. First calling my realtor then calling me. This team is a brash and at times extremly rude. They kept insisting that my payment was declined. I provided several documents showing them it was not. As Im sure you all know home buying is a crazy expensive time not to mention in the middle of a pandemic. Stress is high and you are spending a ton of money. I know working in payments this money was deducted and sitting in a pending batch somewhere it was certainly not in my bank account. A simple call to the processor would have resolved this. I was really trying not to request a charge back as I didnt want to be out an additional $615.00 with a long road of possibly not seeing my original money returned however this is what I ended up doing because the collection specialists would not just make a call. When the last one called and I confirmed the payment was made and they received it. There was no apology no thank you no anything. I want to remind you that this company was going to get $30,000 worth of quoted work from us. They lost that sale. I even attempted to reach out to the owner with no reply. Great team of inspectors here but I feel the office staff needs training on how to better deal with customer issues. It was really disappointing to feel you found a great company to work with on several long term project and it go sour so fast. I hope this helps you.

Comment: Im a Realtor and whenever possible I use Casey Clay at Homeguard. On multiple homes now I have used them for myself. When something has gone wrong I know that this company has done the right thing to ensure I was taken care of within the agreed coverage option. To be expected, sometimes items arent covered but they were clearly outlined beforehand. I was always treated with respect and integrity in every situation. More often than not they have covered the few occurances Ive had. I know from clients and family that they have really been saved big time from otherwise large issues thanks to Homeguard and their coverage. I always advocate for my clients to give or receive a home warranty, and when I do its always Homeguard because in my opinion they have always treated myself and my clients right and their leadership takes accountability and follows up. I dont believe it gets better than that. I also had an experience with their inspector Arif, he was very diligent, calm, professional, and i feel an excellent inspector.

Coincidentally, the home inspector on both, was Arif Baig, who was AWESOME!! Arif was thorough and fair! Although there were some minor issues on both homes, I was very impressed by Arifs professionalism, ethics, and integrity! I highly recommend HomeGuard, and especially Arif for any home inspections - I would absolutely use them again!

Thank you!i would give 0 stars if possible. Im mad that I actually have to choose one. This company is the worst ! Please save yourself a headache and do not use them. We received a home inspection in May 2017 we went over our Escrow charges and see the home inspection was billed through escrow for $395. A year later we get a notice saying they sent us to collections for $165 for some other inspection report they said they preformed on the property. We never received the other report and we didnt know this other report was completed. The company then tells us all reports are billed to the homeowner. Well it would be nice if they would at least insure we received these reports or at least were the party to order them since they state we are ulitmately the responsible party. From a consumer standpoint this just seems fraudulent and not best practice. I feel that this company is taking advantage of First Time Home Buyers or maybe because we are hispanic.
