Throughout the entire process, Jose kept us informed regarding schedule, cost, etc. While on-site for the job, they were very respectful of our property. They installed several skylights and solar tubes and did a great job on those. Upon completion of the installation of the roof, they cleaned up our entire yard and left everything looking immaculate. Comment: We obtained several price comparisons and GN Roofing was very competative with their pricing. Every aspect of their work was State of the Art. GN was respectful of our landscaping and the clean up after completion was excellent. They were on time with start and finish dates. The finished roof was a beautiful job and has improved the look of our home. I had the opportunity to talk with the City Inspector when he was here. He commented, You have a good roofing company. Comment: I just had my new roof completed and I love it. Jose was very professional with each step of the process and took time to explain what he was doing, why it needed to be done and how much it would cost. He even took pictures and updated me daily on what was happening up there. His crew were so nice and they showed up early and stayed until they cleaned up after themselves every day. They really took the time to do it the right way and the black shingles I chose really pop, my neighbors have had very nice comments to say about it already. His price was just under some of the other quotes I got but I chose GN because I felt like Jose was the right fit for me as he was understanding and super responsive. Its hard now days to get businesses to answer the phone or return a text or email. Not so with GN roofing. Dont hesitate to use GN Roofing on your next project. I am usually hard to please but I have absoultley zero complaints and could not be happier. Thank you GN Roofing, so glad I found you. 5 Stars all the way

Comment: With the winter storms of 2023 we had leaks that sprung and some that became worse. We live in Cambria and we took a lot of water. We were trying to extend our roof past its 25 years and we got 27 but no more. Roofers were so busy after the storms I got many well get to you when we can and other came out and gave crazy quotes. I then found GN Roofing. Miguel and Jose came out and went over everything they found. They came back with a great price that was not the highest nor the lowest it was just right. We had some weather issues that delayed the start but they communicated with me the whole way letting me know what was going on. When things cleared up they arrived at the time they said. They were super efficient and super clean. I have had other contractors that need to take a lesson on how to keep a job site clean. They communicated what they found. We had to add some extras that were not anticipated and could not have been anticipated until they take the shingles off. They gave a fair price and did the work. They did a great job on replacing the skylights and adding new gutters on. They are one of the most professional contractors I have ever dealt with. I would recommend them to do your roof. It was a great experience and would call them again if I needed help with another roof.

Comment: Last year we bought our first home! We were so excited and had inspectors and a roofing company was paid to go inspect our home and was told our roof was older but would still last at least 3-5 more years. This winter water started leaking in our home (room, living room and garage) and we reached out to the previous roofing company who inspected it and they went weeks later. He just got a ladder, walked around the roof and said roof was fine. He said he would return in a couple days and re-check but never showed up and calls never got returned. I was in shock of how a company that supposedly is so good couldn’t see the water leaks that were so obvious. We just wanted our roof fixed but it was their loss at the end. We were desperate because our home was getting damaged. Then a family member told us about GN Roofing and to give them a call for an inspection. They went right away and instantly pointed out all the spots the roof they saw needed repair which happened to be exact spots out roof was leaking through the inside and they didn’t know that yet. We knew right away they were the ones to change our roof. GN Roofing were able to come and rescue us and give us their best work as soon as they could and all we had to do was sit back and they took care of everything for us. They are perfectionist when it comes to their work and will tell you step by step what is going on. They not only repaired and installed new roof but also did great job putting up new gutters. Their work is so clean and fast and the best of all they give a great price for their work and are so friendly! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to them! Was very good at communicating and sending pictures of progress or when they found issues that needed addressing. Comment: Jose and Miguel were extremely professional, courteous, and responsive. At a time when their services are in high demand given the onslaught of storms, I was in a panic trying to find a solution to a newly discovered leak before the next storm hit. Jose was able to inspect and fix my leak within 24 hours when other businesses were categorically turning away repair jobs, putting me on a weeks -long waitlist, or not even returning my call. Since they were in the neighborhood, they also inspected my neighbors roof as she had trouble finding someone to come out as well. Im extremely satisfied with the service they provided. 100% recommend. They are running a business, but they obviously care about their community.

They started on schedule and although the amount of underlying repairs needed were more extensive and made the project take a few days longer than expected, Jose communicated status updates well.Other things of note were: one of their suppliers broke the glass in a decorative light fixture and Jose made sure this was repaired; they use a drone to capture great images of the project at each stage; there were some snafus coordinating with a gutter company that caused us to have to find another gutter company last minute; and while the project was quite messy, they cleaned up thoroughly around the house every day.At the end, the quality, service, timeliness and fair price stand out.

My neighbor was a roofing inspector in the past and he said the State Inspector said GN Roof was outstanding. Based on these comments, I called and made appointment for evaluation. This is a family owned business and owners son Jose came on time, and actually took pictures of roof, and I could easily see what he was talking about. Did not need a trained eye to see the things that needed doing. The company replaced the skylight, gutters and all the vents. My first roof replacement ever and it looks amazing. Comment: GN Roofing, lead by Jose Garcia, provided a rapid estimate, for my Shingle Re-Roof, explaining all of the associated options for shingles, color of Metal Drip Edge, Roof Ventilations, New Valley Metals.I concurred with the estimate. Jose submitted the permit to the County of Santa Barbara Planning and Development.Wednesday, June 3, 2020 Jose and crew arrived and started the shingle removal. They surrounded the entire house with drop tarps, to ensure they captured all the debris. At the end of the day, they gathered the tarps with the debris and loaded it into the portable dumpster in the driveway.Thursday, June 4, 2020 Jose and crew arrived, again surrounding the house with drop tarps, continued removal and started the installation of the Underlayment of the New Layer of ASTM #15. Then they started installation of the New Class A 30 Year Certainteed Landmark Laminated Architectural Shingles. Again, at the end of the day, they gathered the tarps with the debris and loaded it into the portable dumpster in the driveway.Saturday, June 6, 2020 Jose and crew arrived and continued the remaining shingle installation, finishing with the Metal Drip Edge, T-Top Roof Ventilation’s, all associated Flashings, colors matching the color of the roof. The entire crew walked around the house picking up ALL debris. The dumpster was removed.Jose provided me with drone pictures of all angles of the roof installation, which were excellent.GN Roofing, Jose Garcia provided Professional Performance, Courteous, Excellent Quality. I will recommend GN Roofing to everyone requiring Shingle Re-Roofing.

Comment: Miguel and Jose delivered from start to finish on a very high end, old world clay tile roof. They gave us a fair quote, showed up on time and did a beautiful job of taking off our old clay roof and making it waterproof, while putting it back and making it look like it had never been touched. I would recommend them to do any kind of roofing job you have. They did it all with smiles on their faces even when it was smoking hot. They are solid citizens and deserve to earn your business. Greg
