After reviewing the online reviews, we asked three roofing companies to provide quotes, each laddered the roof, took measurements, and Franciscos Roofing came in with the best price, with the better layer look shingle in light color for solar reflection, and provided a full scope of work and timeline that was better defined than the other bidders.For the house, covered patio, and detached garage, we hired Franciscos Roofing Inc. to remove the old roofing shingles, replace damaged wood facial boards in 4 locations, install two new tinted skylights, install new shingles and install seamless rain gutters. They pulled the city permit under their California contractors license, and went to work, first day with seven-man crew, pulled off the old roof and hauled away all of the old material. Francisco would text / call me ahead of time to lay out the tasks for the day, always keeping us updated. The crew cleaned up at the end of each workday. There was two city inspections, before roof install and final inspection, both pass with flying colors, no issues. The crew all wore logo shirts for identification, a porta-pottie was brought in for the crew, so they did not have to come into the house to use the restroom, which the other bidders did not do.In closing, Franciscos Roofing is highly recommended, they stuck to their quoted bid with no extra costs, are very responsive and communicate, go above and beyond in performing the work, proud to show their workmanship, especially around the flashing for the both the chimney and skylight areas, are respectful of our home and dog, cleaned up after each day, the job was completed within the quoted time, and best of all, the roof passed with the recent rain storm before Thanksgiving, FIVE STARS!!

Comment: I had to replace my 20+ year-old roof, and I chose Franciscos roofing not only because their bid was very competitive, but Francisco Jr. impressed me with his thoroughness and professionalism. I was not disappointed..they found very damaged wood which they replaced with additional plywood at a reasonable cost, did a great job applying the new roofing material, and did a thorough clean-up. High recommended!

In a couple of weeks the roofs were severely tested by the tropical storm of mid August, 2023. The roofs successfully passed. Franciscos Roofing crew work with craftmanship and teamwork. Comment: We were very happy with our roof replacement by Francisco and his crew. Francisco was very communicative and there were no surprises anywhere in the process. Not only was their bid one of the best, but they included a lot that would be extras with other companies. I was kept informed the whole time. My only criticism was the number of nails and some debris that was left on the property (I was worried about getting a flat tire). Once I brought this to Francisco’s attention, he was there almost immediately going over our whole property to make sure there were no more. Would definitely recommend Francisco’s Roofing!

They communicated with us through the whole process of tearing off our old roof, installing insulation, new decking, new solar vents, and of course a new roof. The whole process, which included inspections, was completed in the timeline they provided. It was just in time as the past month has sent storm after storm. Theyre a local, family-owned small business that has a lot of previous roofing experience.Price and quote: they were the best of three quotes in terms of material/service for the price. The process was straightforward vs others that seemed to be more sales pitches with upsell options.Installation: they quickly scheduled around my availability and worked around the rain, preparing the roof accordingly. Also the crew was professional and cleaned up every day.End result: they walked me through every part of the process, and came back multiple times to ensure everything was done properly. And can confirm after some heavy rain, all previous leaks are fixed and the house looks more modern than before.Highly recommend this company.

Comment: Franciscos Roofing came out to inspect our roof, reposition tile, and install drip edging on our tile roof just before a storm. Our previous roofer installed the tile roof in a way that did not allow enough overhang which let water drip in-between behind our stucco and they refused to acknowledge the problem. Francisco and his son made the process fast and easy and Its been a massive relief to know that this problem was fixed before the heavy rains began today. Wish I had found this company sooner.

Comment: We called Francisco for an estimate for a balcony that leaked. They did a thorough inspection and gave a very fair estimate. The crew did an excellent job were friendly and cleaned up as if they’d never been here. But here’s the kicker—I didn’t like the color of the finishing coat and Francisco ordered another color even though it extended the job another 2 weeks. When these guys say they want you to be happy they mean it. You cannot do better than Francisco’s.

Comment: I was looking for a good roofer to replace my 40 years old tile roof. I have met with a few roofing companies, received a few quotes and decided to choose Franciscos Roofing. They showed on time to inspect my roof, and gave me a good quote. I felt confident to go with Franciscos Roofing. They started work on time, brought all material needed, and worked very hard, especially Francisco senior, the owner. Their workmanship is excellent, detailed and neat. My roof is very complicated, their was a need for a lot of transition between many different slopes of roof. They removed and replaced damaged board, installed double 30 pounds felt underlayment, installed all new metal roof vents, new flashing around the chimney, new bird stops, new metal edges, metal valleys, reinstalled old tiles, cemented all openings. They had new tiles on hand to replace the broken tiles. They cleaned around house and hauled away all debris. They addressed all of my concerns without any argue and would explain what they are doing. I am in the construction business, too., and it is my work to inspect the job. I was on the roof very often taking pictures and inspecting their work. They said they wanted to make me happy and they made me very happy. It took them three days to complete all above, about 2000 sf. And when they finished the roof, there was a big rain, in LA area, prefect timing for testing a new roof. If you are looking for the excellent roofer, look no more, Franciscos Roofing is your roofer.

After contacting so many they were fast on setting up and estimate. Turn around time was better than expected. Loved that they cleaned up around the house after every work day.
