Comment: If I had another roof to replace, I would use Eclipse again. Udi was wonderful to work with. He addressed our concerns and was patient through the unexpected twists and turns (which always seem to pop up during renovations). And they went above and beyond rather than doing the bare minimum. My family and I have a history with mold, so this meant a lot, as the roof is so important in keeping a healthy home. Thank you Eclipse!

Comment: Our roof flooded from recent rainfall. The owner Udi was super responsive and helpful. He came out and checked it out and was able to find the source immediately. He was able to isolate the problem area so we wouldn’t have to buy an entire new roof and he even fixed the slope of the roof section in order to allow water to drain properly as it had been puddling. Him and his team were very professional and great communicators. I couldn’t recommend them enough. I’ve attached pictures of the before and after, the wood was insert to fix the previous bad draining that would allow water to puddle.

Comment: I heartily recommend Eclipse Remodeling. I needed new fascia boards in addition to a new roof. Over the course of a month, I collected quotes from 8 different vendors, but I couldn’t find a roofer who would give me a reasonable price for both; either the roof quote or fascia board quote was exorbitantly high or too low, or I would need to hire a separate contractor for each. Fortunately, the 9th vendor I met was Eclipse Remodeling. Its quote for both roof & fascia boards fell somewhere in the middle, price wise. The owner Udi is super knowledgeable and straightforward; I honestly believe that he bases his recommendations on quality and value as if he were installing a roofing system on his own house. I had a ton of questions (shingle durability, solar reflectivity, possible house paint color combinations, etc) and he took the time to carefully explain and address my concerns. I also appreciated that he didn’t pressure me into an immediate, on-the-spot hiring decision like some of the others. His crew members were very efficient and courteous. They were able to complete our roof in 2 days and cleaned up everything before leaving each day. I was very impressed with the overall professionalism of Eclipse Remodeling. TL; DR. Although I received cheaper bids from elsewhere, the excellent service, workmanship, and most importantly, peace of mind was well worth the cost difference. I knew I could trust Udi. We now have an amazing looking roof with a lifetime warranty. I had an extremely positive experience with him & his team and highly suggest hiring them for your new roofing needs.

Comment: I hired Eclipse Remodeling to replace my asphalt shingle roof with an Owens Corning TruDefinition Cool Plus roof. The company also replaced my skylight with a new low-profile skylight and installed some attic vents. While we had the roof stripped, we also used the opportunity to bring in someone to install some solatubes and a solar powered attic fan. Our new roof looks great, and the new skylight looks so much better than the old one. I am very happy with the finished product.Udi is the owner of Eclipse Remodeling. He is an awesome person to work with. What I liked most about Udi and his team was their attention to detail. At our first meeting to get an estimate Udi spent over an hour going over every detail of the work he would do. This extended to the job as well. Udi made a point to be on-site every morning to check in with his team and me. Whenever a decision needed to be made, Udi pulled me into the conversation to get my opinion. They replaced a few rotten facia boards, gave all my vents a new coat of paint to match the roof, and even gave me a heads up to address some questionable electrical running along the roof and into my attic. As a sidenote, an electrician deemed the electrical was unsafe, so I had it capped off and I asked Udi to come back to remove the conduit and close up the hole in the attic. For a reasonable return fee, everything is now fixed up and perfect.I also want to acknowledge Karen and Hermie.Karen takes care of all the paperwork and scheduling. She was amazing in answering all my questions before we started the job and coordinating the scheduling to start the job. Karen also helped me coordinate scheduling with the solatube installer.Hermie was the lead on the project. Udi trusted Hermie to do all of the unusual work like install the skylight, replace the facia wood, etc. and he did a great job with the work. If Udi wasnt around, Hermie was always there to address my questions or concerns. When they returned to close up the hole from the electrical, it was Hermie that came to do the work and I was happy that Udi asked Hermie to do the job.All in all, Eclipse Remodeling was fantastic. I highly recommend them.

Comment: Udi from Eclipse Remodeling does fantastic work. We have used him multiple times. When we first moved into our new house he painted our entire interior including the ceiling and installed recessed lighting in the bathrooms. We were impressed by his attention to detail, quality, punctuality, and professionalism. Three years later we had a flood and with the same quality and attention to detail Udi repaired/replaced drywall, closets, wood floors, and door frames. He textured and painted the walls to perfection where you cant differentiate the original drywall from the new drywall. We would highly recommend Eclipse Remodeling.

Comment: It truly doesnt get any better than this. We had an unfortunate experience several years ago with a roofer and were a bit gun-shy when looking for someone to redo our roof. From the first contact, Udi put our minds to rest that the job would be done well.He was here at least once a day, staying in contact if case we had any questions. The workers showed up early each day and worked hard til the sun set. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves each day, leaving the site cleaner than when they first began.The price was more than fair, considering they took the roof right down to the sheeting, which the other two roofers who bid the job would not have done. Only the best materials were used, as per our selection. They also repaired and reroofed our patio cover so it would never leak again (at least not in our lifetime!).All in all, this was the best remodeling/repair experience we have ever had. Will look forward to having Eclipse bid to paint our house as well, as they have proven they are reliable, trustworthy, and their customer service and work is unparalleled.

Comment: Date of work: 8-10-2020 to 8-14-2020I had it in my mind to have my roof replaced for some time. The roof already had three layers that were the maximum could be added on an existing house which including its original roof the first layer. To make the job complicate, the combined unit of central A/C was located on the top of the roof, also the old insulations needed to be removed from the attic.I knew I need a reliable professional to do this job. Among several roofing companies, I choose Eclipse Remodeling, Inc. The reasons were (1) Credentials – have valid Ca. State licenses under the name of Ehud Zadok, the president (2) Experience – company is in business since 2006 (3) Certified – Owens Corning Preferred Contractor (4) Reviews – the remarks are good.It took 5 day to complete this job. I am very satisfied with the finished work. Ehud (Udi) came to the jobsite to instruct and check the procedures of installation every step of the way during the process. To prevent leaking, the procedures should be correct, so the roof will be sealed without gapping. Ehud (Udi) said to me that “my roof is his roof”, he does not allow any substandard materials or poor workmanship taking place in his customer’s job. Everything he had agreed upon on the contract, he fulfilled. He has a very dedicated team of workers working for him. Their knowledge and expertise made a seemly complicate task went smoothly. I highly recommend this company and I would refer Eclipse to my friends.

Comment: We recently had Udi and his crew do the exterior painting of our house in Van Nuys. Having done business with Eclipse before (they did a full re-roofing job for us a couple of months earlier), we were not surprised at the quality of their work. From woodwork (they seamlessly covered an existing window on the front side of our garage) to stucco repair and everything else, their attention to detail is unbelievable, especially the prep thats absolutely necessary prior to applying primer or paint. The crew was punctual and friendly and did a great job cleaning up every day, finishing the job a couple of days before promised in our contract. Udi comes by most everyday during the job to check on the work and is very responsive to any calls or requests. We highly recommend this company!

Comment: We interviewed several roofers and felt immediately comfortable hiring Udi. He was knowledgeable and able to accommodate our specific needs. Udi was on-site everyday and always available to answer our questions. Udi promised a much faster installation period than other contractors and was able to start quickly as well. When issues arose during installation Udi was honest and forthcoming. He was also able to help resolve the issues quickly. We needed to replace a very old skylight and fan and Udi was able to coordinate getting us an electrician right away so we could still finish the project on time. He also coordinated repair patching and painting-basically took care of anything that was needed. The result was a high quality roof at a fair price. His team of workers were also very professional and did a great job of cleaning up. We love the look of our home now, and so do our neighbors. Several people have asked for Udis card already. Comment: We decided to install a new “cool” roof after noting tree damage to the existing one from before we owned the property. We got a few quotes, but they were from aggressive sellers offering discounts and extras, but only if we signed up immediately. It was a pleasant surprise therefore when Udi from Eclipse Remodeling, Inc. came to talk with us. He walked us through our options, made some sensible recommendations, and quoted a very reasonable price. He is also able to issue the permit for the work himself (county inspectors can still show up unannounced to check up on the work), and this helps to avoid unexpected delays. After we gave him the go-ahead, things proceeded very quickly. He sent two teams to tear off the original shingles, and they were done in just one day. The following day, one team came back and completed the installation of the new roof, including replacement of some damaged sections of plywood, and cleaning up the site after they were done. Udi also replaced all our vents, moving them to new locations to streamline the view of our house from the road, and installed a vent over a bathroom for us which currently does not have an extractor fan, in case we decide to add one in future – all for no extra cost. Udi came by several times during the installation, was very responsive to phone calls and texts, and helped us out with the paperwork so that we could submit a rebate request to LADWP. The end result looks great! Although too little time has elapsed for us to see any longer-term issues, or to get a good handle on the benefits of “cool” roof technology, we are certainly hopeful given our interactions with Udi and the long warranty that comes with the Owens-Corning product.

We were moving into a new house and only had days to get the roof done before we moved in. Udi not only made sure our roof got done before we moved in, his guys were so efficient, they removed three layers of old shingle and re-roofed the entire home in two days! And when we picked a popular shingle color, Udi went out of his way to find the tiles for our project.Udi took the time to ensure we had not only a high quality new roof, but he also told us about the LA DWP cool roof rebate. Comment: Amazing! I always worried about my roof. I knew that I needed a new roof but the task seemed daunting. Udi was beyond professional and walked me through the entire process explaining everything.The Eclipse team was prompt every day and did a fantastic job. Everything was on-time and the left the job site clean each day.My house is staying so much cooler this summer now that I have new sheeting, water barrier and reflective insulation. My HVAC system couldnt keep up with the heat last year and since the new roof, it is barely necessary.I feel so much better after having this done and will not worry anymore during heavy rain.

Comment: I had an excellent experience with them. The biggest takeaway I had was that from the first meeting you could tell that they took pride in their work. The owner of the company sat down and took the time to explain my different roofing options and to explain all of the different steps. During this discussion you could tell that he took personal pride in how every one his projects turned out. Anytime someone takes ownership and pride in their work you know they care about the quality and will do everything they can to make sure it turns out great. Comment: Udi, and his team, just completed a two-week roofing job, for me, and Im a happy customer. The roof needed a great deal of work, including full replacement or sistering of quite a few rafters, replacement of all plywood-sheathing around the edges of the roof, with a complete roof overlay of additional sheathing to meet current code requirements, replacement of all fascia where the gutters go, a new full roofing solution, new venting, sealing around the new wood, priming all new wood, full painting of my fascia, and new gutters.Udi came by every morning to personally check on progress and handle all of my questions and concernn, all of which were dealt with quickly, and to my satisfaction. . The roofing team left my roof looking really nice, and Gil, who handled detail work and painting, did a beautiful and meticulous job. The gutter team was also great.I have another big project to do, soon, on repairing and refurbishing the exterior of the house, culminating in a full paint job. I plan to call Udi, again, for that. I love how personally he takes care of the customer, and works to ensure they are satisfied, and this is all done at a reasonable price.Thank you, Udi and team!

Comment: I asked Udi to replace the shutters on my home. His crew painted and installed the new shutters doing an outstanding job working through the weekend to get it done. The care they showed was exceptional; cleaning as they went and despite having to get into the garden, not damaging a plant. Comment: We asked Udi to do the roofing and interior and exterior painting of the house. He is straight-forward and has pride in his work. He uses high quality materials and never recommends us to use the cheapest. The workers are all hardworking and professional.We first asked them for the roof. Our roof was so old and needed to be replaced. He visited our home and took time to explain the process of the construction and brought the samples of the roof. The roof turned out so beautiful!Originally the walls in the house had a lot of imperfections with glossy paint all over. It was unprofessionally done for sure. The paint was starting to peel here and there and looked awful. Udi used Dunn Edwards and its such a big difference! So sharp and clean! We are so impressed by their steady and careful job.

Comment: Eclipse Remodeling painted my house and did a beautiful job! Their staff were professional and very considerate. Their manager was on top of the entire project from beginning to end. They exceeded my expectations! They cleaned, primed, painted, removed objects that were leaning against the house, cut plants that were in their way. The owner even custom painted my stair wrought iron banister, just beautiful! The pain job looks amazing. I highly recommend Eclipse Remodeling for all paint job. Comment: Thank you Eclipse Remodeling for the fine repair work you did on our home last October.You did a great job getting rid of the wood rot and repairing the floor. Taking corrective repair measures to prevent this situation from reoccurring. Reinforcing the foundation where it appeared there might be some structure damage. Finding and limiting a moisture issue along the west wall at the foundation. The wood trim all over the house was in serious need of repair. The Stucco was never painted because the color was put into the stucco. You did a great job preparing the wood surfaces and in some cases replacing deteriorated wood before painting the trim and stucco. Re-glazed all the window and painted them as well. Replacing the garage door and refinished the front door. Our home looks like a brand new home. You committed to a three week project and got it all finished in two and a half weeks. Thank you again for a great job. I recommend Eclipse Remodeling to anyone that needs repair or remodeling.
