Comment: It was a rocky start but we finally have solar and a back up battery! Sean was diligent to provide the services we originally contracted to receive even though a few of the employees had made some errors and misrepresented the company. We had a new roof installed, then Solar a few months later. My only complaint is that due to the lack of integrity of one of the employees, our 1% financing rate expired. That made a big impact on our monthly payment which we almost doubled. That employee is no longer with the company and once Sean took over the account everything else went smoothly. I appreciated the integrity he had on this project.

Comment: Between February and May Diamond Solar installed solar panels on our roof and coordinated the installation of a new heat pump/cooling system in our home with their sister company. It was a major job and throughout the process they were communicative, professional and worked with us through concerns we had. Comment: Diamond Solar was one of a couple different companies we checked out. The initial meeting, they were prepared and went in depth with our questions—more so than the others. Also, patient since we were new to solar. They provided the plan for an optimum placement of the panels on our roof but were open to our suggested changes when we raised a concern about placement aesthetics. They worked through this with offering another suggestion to maintain optimal placement to maximize sun exposure with our desire to keep the most viewed part of the roof clean.The installation was straightforward and quick with Diamond Solar. We added on an upgrade to the heating and cooling, and they had a fantastic referral for that as well that helped to maximize savings.They were thorough, followed up with us, and responded timely to questions along the way.

He gave me a preliminary estimate that fell into what I had hoped for. The work began within a few days and was completed in a day and a half. The technicians came the next day and inspected the roof, finding just a few minor imperfections not up to their professional standards. These were soon corrected. He reinspected the final job. Once we got our insurance Diamond Solar kept us informed on the status of materials and made prompt notifications when they would be delivered. The work crew they sent out worked quickly and even stayed until dark due to the original roof having an insane amount of nails per roof shingle strip for some known ridiculous reason. The crew worked diligently to get the old shingles off the first day and was respectful of a time that worked for our family when coming back the next morning. They were great at communicating the issues, what was needed to fix them, and possible issues that could come after opening up the roof. The installing company had come out many, many times but never fixed it; they finally just stopped returning my calls. Diamond Solar came out several times, listened carefully to my concerns, and answered all my questions over a period of months as I considered hiring them. They investigated carefully and devised a plan to resolve the leaks. T problem was far more complicated than anticipated. The work was carried out competently and professionally, and on time. Comment: Our roof suffered extensive damage during the May storm that swept through the area. Diamond Solar quickly responded to my request for an inspection and bid on the project. Their team handled every aspect of the repair. I cannot emphasize enough what a blessing it was to have only one person to contact to decide or ask questions and not have to juggle a list of contractors. My husband was overseas at the time and we had never made a claim on our homeowners’ insurance. I was overwhelmed at the prospect of managing a roofing project and making an automobile claim all while virtual schooling in the midst of a pandemic as a solo parent of three. The techs walked me through the process and even dealt directly with the insurance company to increase the payout to complete the items the insurance company’s appraiser had undervalued. Our project manager was an excellent communicator and kept me updated every step of the way. The roofers even worked over holiday to complete our project on time. Comment: Cannot recommend Diamond Solar enough. We had them install a solar system on our existing shingle roof. They were extremely thorough in the prelim evaluation, had excellent follow up communication, and even took the load off of us to coordinate directly with our fan provider on the tricky install details. The day of the install the team was exactly on time, and they were able talk us thru the plan, make sure there were no issues, and reviewed the finish out before they left. They also sent drone photos of everything for our records. In a time when you have to chase people down for weeks just to get a call-back – Diamond Solar of California is an absolutely standout provider.

Comment: **UPDATE****I have now had solar from Diamond Solar for a little over two years and everything has been working AWESOME. Except my Inverter malfunctioned. I called Diamond Solar (Leo) came out immediately, even on a Sunday. After diagnosing the issue, he determined the inverter (Solar Edge) was bad. Leo sent the report to Solar Edge on Monday, 8/16/21 and came back the very next day and replaced the inverter. I didn’t even have to wait for the new inverter to come from Solar Edge, he replaced it with a brand new inverter he had in-stock. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Even though we had an issue (not Diamond Solars fault) the situation was handled fantastically. I 100% recommend Diamond Solar for your solar needs, Leo is AWESOME.**I am one who shops around and received around 20+ quotes. Diamond Solar beat them all and received awesome customer service. Leo from Diamond Solar helped me through the whole process and made it very easy. I would 100% recommend Diamond Solar to anyone looking into purchasing Solar.

I worked with Jeff and he was knowledgeable with the different manufacturers and solar equipment and patiently answered all of my questions. The project went faster than I expected. LADWP inspected, approved and gave me permission to operate all at lightning speed. My next door neighbor did a solar install with another company weeks before mine started and her solar still has not been turned on. Kudos to Diamond Solar for being my solar rock stars! In my opinion the thing that separates Diamond Solar from the rest of the competition is the owner has over 12 years experience and has taken the time to train his staff.

After a shot training session / walkthrough of how the system works we were up and running and no issues to report.
