Comment: Colin Roofing replaced a roof that had been damaged by high winds (a continual problem in the area). This consisted of tearing off and hauling the old rooftop, installing new underlayment and flashings, and installing new shingles.Their estimate team arrived at a scheduled time and provided a good initial estimate (including costing for potential wood replacement if needed). The work team was scheduled for two months or so after the estimate. The company took care of getting a work permit (for a small fee, with the option that I could have obtained it myself) and scheduling inspections. The work proceeded as planned and I am happy with the result.While Colin Roofing wasnt the lowest estimate in the area, they were especially more professionally initially responsive and continually communicative. Other roofing companies that I attempted to contact either didnt respond or mysteriously dropped communication shortly after the estimate. Colins office has been good at communicating both by email and by phone. Colins entire team was professional, timely, and knowledgeable.

Comment: Colin Roofing did a complete re-roof last August. I waited to see if any issues arose prior to posting a review and after several wind and rain storms, I have nothing but praise. Their work is excellent. They started and finished on time. Obtained all permits required and had no issues with getting them signed off. I have received numerous positive comments from my neighbors and complete strangers asking who did this fantastic roof. I also was contacted by a local roofer who never showed up to do an estimate wanting to know who did it and suggested they didnt get it permitted. That is just poor form. I recommend Colin Roofing and have no regrets. Update: 2023: Its a shame theyve gotten so big, they now want to charge you for estimates along with a travel fee. I referred several people to them and they all came back to me with the same story. So, disappointing.

Comment: I am so pleased with Colin Roofing. I shopped around with 11 other companies and received estimates all over the place. The highest estimate came back at twice what Colin Roofing charged. And the lowest was 15% less (But I had a bad feeling about there professionalism).Ultimately, I chose Colin Roofing because they were hyper responsive, extremely professional, knowledgeable and so pleasant to interact with.Not only was Colin Roofing very reasonably priced, but they finished the job early. They handled all the nightmare permitting and I just couldnt be happier with them. I am so happy with Juan and all the work his team did.Jennifer was an utter delight!

We just went through and continue to go through incredibly strong rain storms in California. The roof has been perfect through all of the storms. No leaks, no issues. The installation of the roof by Colin Roofing was flawless. They were fast and extremely competent. The price was completely reasonable. We feel lucky to have had some a great roofing company install our new roof.

Comment: From the very first contact Colin Roofing was curteous & professional. The owners son came out to inspect the roof. Colin Roofing submitted a detailed plan for the two parts of the roof to repair/re-stabalize after 26 years of scorching desert sun with nary a roof inspection.The two sections we had replaced finally could not take the neglect and were starting to allow water/rain in causing leaking. They told me that I could, at my disgression, only repair the parts of the roof that I deemed in trouble. They told me that I could choose to replace only the trouble spots and they would document and repair only those sections. By proceeding in this manner they said Colin Roofing could repair/replace additional sections at any time until I had a whole new roof rather than replace the whole roof at this time. They said doing it section-by-section would not cost anymore than doing the whole roof at once.They got to the site early everyday. Worked ferociously until 4-5pm. Cleaned up everyday and were the most pleasant folks to work with.Offering only sectional repairs allowed me to afford the trouble spots but I will, eventually, contact them again and, as they suggested, replace the whole roof.Thank you to ALL at Colin Roofing!A HUGE cut above the rest.RK

Comment: Beautiful roof! The workmen were on time, skilled, and did a great job on the roof. The roof is gorgeous!The only hitch was that they went into one of the electrical breaker boxes, ripped off the protective circular cover and apparently threw that cover away, removed one of the panel doors and left it on the ground, and harvested about 20 feet of thick copper wiring that went from the breaker box to the roof mast. (That wiring wasnt being used anymore)It would have been nice of them to ask me if it was okay to take the copper wire. (I have photos of before, during, and after)Also, it would have been nice if they would have replaced the covers they ripped off the breaker box - which contains most of the breakers to circuits in my house.I paid an electrician to put a plexiglass cover over the empty circle to protect the interior from dust and rain and he had to screw the panel door back onto the breaker box since it was removed so forcefully by the roofers.The missing grabber pole that I kept next to my garbage cans was easily replaced.The office made a billing error of $300 in their favor, but immediately corrected it when it was pointed out.Other than those little details, the experience with Colin Roofing has been very good. The roof looks beautiful, they cleaned up before leaving, and the office was wonderful with updates and excellent communication.

Communication was excellent.The workers did leave behind some trash from their lunches (foil and Mc Donalds coffee creamers) and I found some old roof and nails on the ground. Thats not a big issue in my book since it wasnt a significant amount.The foreman on the job was professional and courteous. He made sure to ask when he needed to use something of ours, told me about the materials they were using in comparison to the old stuff, and took care of his crew by making sure the working environment was safe.Im not looking forward to eventually needing more roof work done but I know who to call when that happens.

Comment: I contacted Colin roofing for a new roof, Juan showed up on time and emailed me a competitive quote, after getting a few other quotes from other roofers I decided to go with Juan and his crew. I am very happy I did, the crew showed up on time, they were very professional, hardworking, respectful and finish the job within the estimated time frame, they made sure to clean as much as they could as they worked and cleaned everything really well after the job was completed, they even asked me to open the garage so they could clean inside.Juan was good at communicating via email, sending me updated invoices and answering all my questions, you can tell they’re very knowledgeable and have a lot of experience with everything related to roofs. There was a small touch up that needed to be taken care of but it was done in a timely fashion and I am happy with the job so far. in addition because we dont have very much rain to test out the roof I was given assurances that everything will be fine and that if there was any problems they will be more than happy to help. Comment: I was really happy with the owner’s expertise on this job. I had taken 3 different bids, 2 of the 3 were astronomical in price. I chose Colin Roofing. Colin Roofing addressed my direct problem instead of looking for additional work to increase the price of the quote. I pointed out other issues that other contractors had mentioned, and he was very honest, and basically let me know that those issues were not bad enough to require attention. Based on all their amazing reviews, I felt confident with my decision. The professionalism shown by the owner gave complete confidence that the job would get done correctly. The owner gave me a seminar on my own roof, explained every detail thoroughly, and educated me on how the roof is suppose to work. He answered all my questions, no matter how small. In the end, I felt like I had chosen the right company for the job. I wasn’t able to be on site to watch the repairs be made, but they took pictures throughout the entire process which gave me further confidence that I had chosen the right contractor, and the repairs they made would seal any leaks. The materials used appear to be better than what had come with the building of the house. I will definitely use Colin Roofing again in the future. Thank you so much! I included some pictures of the work done. The previous owners had installed a sky lamp incorrectly, with that, I had a mass amount of water leaking into my attic which eventually came into the kitchen. As the work was progressing we encountered some additional work was required and Juan said they would perform the extra work at no charge. They also found a crack in my skylight and offered to go and get another one and install it for not much of an added cost. Comment: Once again, Juan Colin to the Rescue. We had a kitchen leak right after the Thanksgiving Snow. Juan showed up as quickly as possible and assessed the situation. Having already fixed a different section already, I trusted Juans assessment and we needed to replace all the paper, (30 years old). Juan was able to to get us scheduled in less than 3 weeks, just before Xmas. His team showed up and and did the roof beautifully and professionally. Comment: We just had Colin Roofing do a complete roof replacement and we couldnt be happier with them. Juan is very communicative and up front with you throughout the whole process. Since this has been a busy season for them, they put a giant tarp over a leaky area to keep us dry until they were able to fix it, and came over multiple times to secure the tarp after some windy days blew it around. Their guys are hardworking, polite, and great about keeping you updated on the process. We were previously burned by another local roofer, so Colin Roofing was a breath of fresh air and we would highly recommend them!
