Comment: Drove a long distance to give us a quality roof inspection. Incredibly pleased with the service, product, and price! Was very flexible when we were scheduling a timeline for roof repairs, and conducted themselves professionally all along the way. Comment: Our HOA hired Cert-A-Roof to perform a roof inspection, as our roof was approaching 20 years old. Scheduling was easy and the inspector was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The inspection report was delivered promptly, indicating there was still life left in the roof but recommended skylight replacement and maintenance on some roof penetrations. Cert-A-Roof was very responsive to all of our concerns during finalization of the work contract. The skylights were acquired and delivered as promised. Communication between us and Cert-A-Roof was good as we had to work around some weather to get the work done. Initial skylight replacement and roof maintenance went well. The crew was courteous, professional, and efficient. There turned out to be a minor issue with the installation of three skylights with respect to weather stripping. Cert-A-Roof was, again, very responsive to our concerns and resolved the issue very soon after being informed.Overall, the experience was very good, and we are a satisfied customer. We will definitely consider Cert-A-Roof when the roof needs replacement.

Comment: I had the privilege of speaking with Mr. Watrous this evening. He was highly recommended by a prestigious law firm. He not only answered my call personally but did so after business hours and listened to/validated my roof concerns. He immediately understood what I was trying to convey and delved further into things that I had not considered. Over half an hour went by before I realized because Mr. Watrous was concerned about my issue and how to help me; moreover appease my worry. To meet someone with such extraordinary skill/knowledge ( in any industry!) who is willing to share it is rare. I would have been happy to pay for his time but Mr. Watrous politely refused payment. Who does that? Cert-A-Roof will forever be my roof inspection, certification, repair and re-roof company of choice!

We received our inspection online after paying for the inspection, and the inspection report had photos and comments on what seems like every square foot of our roof! Comment: We purchased a new home and during the physical inspection we learned we had some roof issues. We reached out to Cert-a-roof and got an immediate response. Paul came and thoroughly inspected our roof and offered us an honest and very detailed report/assessment which included some recommended repairs to get the maximum life out of our roof which we have scheduled. Important to note that there was no pressure in doing the repairs or not with Cert-a-Roof and we were free to shop the repairs out with other roofing companies, etc. This company is very professional and I would highly recommend.

Comment: Updated review on 4/15/18:After hearing about my complaint I was put in contact with the owner, Les, and we had a lengthy discussion about the issue. I was informed that the estimator I had spoke with on the phone was terminated and that hed like the opportunity to make things right. Les and his son Paul were super accommodating and met me at the house in Ontario at 5pm, even though those two are primarily based in Orange County. For any of you not familiar with the area this meant they would be fighting over an hour and a half of traffic to/from the house.When I met them both Les and Paul were very professional. They provided great insight into what repairs would be necessary and provided a fully detailed quote within 24 hrs of our meeting.My wife and I are in the process of dealing with a poor installation from a previous company and if they arent going to fix it properly were 100% going to give our business to Les/Paul/Cert-A-Roof.----------------------------------------------Original review from 3/28/18:I would highly recommend staying AWAY from this company.I Called and scheduled an appointment on 3/27 for a roof inspection on 3/28 at 10am. Email confirmation was received regarding the appointment. At 935am on 3/28 I received a phone call from someone at the company asking if we still wanted the inspection. I said yes we need someone to walk through and put eyes on the project because it might not be a simple one. This person on the phone confirmed they would be heading to our house to do the walk through.A reminder email came through regarding the appointment at 945am on 3/28.At 1020am when no one had shown up I called back the number that contacted me at 935am and he informed me that he would not be showing up because the job probably isnt something my boss would be interested in.Absolutely classless actions by this company. My wife wasted her morning and had we known the inspector was going to be a no show we could have used that time for an actually reputable company.

Comment: When the roof over my sunroom started leaking, I spoke to several companies. Cert-A-Roof was able to give me an evaluation and some recommendations very promptly and left me with a better impression than anyone else I spoke to. When I decided to have them do the work, they took care of the resealing quickly, and it hasnt leaked since.

Comment: My appointment was set up within one day, the inspector was running early and called to ask if he could arrive earlier then my appointment. I agreed and he proceeded to inspect the roof. After the inspection we talked as he explained what he found and explained that I would receive the full report with pictures the next day. Yes, I did receive the report the next day and was extremely pleased with how detailed the report was and all the pictures to go along with the report. I am extremely satisfied with the service that Cert-A-Roof provided. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to my family and friends. Thanks for the great service.

Comment: Had a very good experience. The work was done quickly and effectively. The inspector Oscar did a fantastic job with his roof inspection. He emailed me a 20+ page report with pictures and recommendations. It was quite thorough and impressive in the level of detail. He clearly knows his roofs.The price was about average - they are definitely not the cheapest roof repair company out there - but all things considered their work was done well and effectively and I would hire them again.

Comment: After reviewing the inspection report of the home my husband I are purchasing, it required further inspection on the roof. My husband and I do not want to move in a home that looks perfect in the inside but can cause us a huge expense in the future. I started to google for certified roof inspectors and came across Cert-A-Roof, I called and Les answer immediately, we were able to schedule the appointment over the phone. He did not charge me until the day of the inspection which was great. Im glad I found Les to do the inspection. He was honest, and very knowledgeable. He took his time to explain what needed to be done on the roof, and he gave me options in case I wasn’t able to pay for it. In our case, we are going to negotiate with the seller and have him repair the roof. Thank you Les for being detail and pointing out everything that needed to be fixed! I 100% recommend this company.
