Comment: Exceptional Experience from top to bottom. I started off talking with Luke and I originally wasnt 100% sold on solar. He walked me through the advantages and then what purchasing vs leasing looked like. He was never pushy and didnt try to oversell. He addressed all questions I had quickly and professionally. I fairly quickly after looking at the pricing and options, went with Blalock. I made the right decision number one, going with Blalock and secondly talking to Luke. I then talked with and emailed with Sara and Maegan in the office, they as well were exceptional, super fast to respond and also helped guide me through the next steps- permits, utility company, etc. Once the panels arrived the exceptional service continued. Victor managed my installation which was super fast, and very thorough. He told me the next steps and ensured the job was completed to perfection. His crew was also fantastic; professional, thorough, and really made sure my home was taken care of. Next up Jose came to my house to verify everything was good to get inspected and he also met with the inspector, which of course everything passed with flying colors. My solar is up and running, app works great, and the communication with Blalock is still fantastic!Luke, Sara, Maegan, Victor and Jose are Amazing!!Truly Exceptional Experience!

The whole process was extremely smooth and the team is exceptional. Everything was well planned and professional. Between Casey Fox, the broker, and Blalock Electric and Solar, I have a solar system that: 1) Beat other offers with less capable systems and lower grade hardware. 2) They were easy to work with and I knew they wanted provide me with the best service. 3) They beat their delivery promise by 30 days. 4). The office is very responsive. 5) William and Kaven came and installed my system in one day. They are courteous, very professional, did a neat clean installation and respected my property. The system passed county inspection without questions.

My solar project included 28 LG solar panels, Enphase micro inverters, a new electrical service panel, EV 240v power outlet installed in the garage as well as a roof comp-out. All the Blalock crews who worked on this system install did high quality work taking care and pride in their work to assure customer satisfaction. The on-site crews and office staff were friendly and communicated with us to let us know what and when to expect work to be done. A special shout-out to Leonard and Juan on their roofing work, Mike’s team on the solar panel install, Victor on the electrical service panel and Sara for her friendly and responsive project administration support. I highly recommend Blalock for your solar project needs!

Comment: Selecting a PV system and a company to install it is a daunting task. After educating myself in the technology, the status of the industry, the manufacturers of PV panels and supporting equipment, and the multitude of companies that do installations, I took a walk around the neighborhood and rang the doorbell of any home that had solar panels on their roofs.Many did not open their doors (blame it on Covid!); but with those who did we discussed their system and their experience. Most of them had mostly positive things to say. One stood out in their level of satisfaction with the installation company they selected, Blalock Electric and Solar Inc, and with the salesperson for that company that they dealt with, Maegan.I called Maegan, we were immediately impressed with her knowledge, her attitude, and her willingness to listen to our concerns and answer our questions; we had phone calls and exchanged e-mails. My wife and I are, yes, elderly. What finally drove us into action and install a PV system is the quickly deteriorating climate; but we were apprehensive about embarking into this adventure. Could we handle it? At one point I even asked Maegan: ‘Who is going to hold my hand when we go live?’. The answer: ‘Tony, I will hold your hand, but I doubt that I will need to’.And so we chose Blalock Electric & Solar to do the installation, 12 LG370 panels, 2 Encharge 10 batteries and other Enphase supporting equipment. Nick Blalock, the owner of the company, was always available and helpful. In fact, we even exchanged a few emails on a Sunday, and this before we were live. Sara and Kaitlin in the office, were also always ready to help with scheduling and facilitating the communication between the city where we live, Laguna Niguel, and SDG&E our electricity provider.The installation took two days. We received our ‘Permission To Operate’ from SDG&E a week ago. Maegan and Ashley came over and answered all of our ‘what if’ questions and gave the system a thorough test which it passed with flying colors.We are 100% happy with the person who sold it to us, Maegan, who is much more than a salesperson, the Company and crew who installed it, the whole process of getting it done, and the final results. I am impressed with the Enlighten App which runs on my iPhone, iPad, and desktop and allows me to monitor and control the system. I recommend the Enphase system, Blalock to install it, and Maegan to hold your hand, if you need it.

Comment: What an efficient operation! Blalock installed our solar, which was just turned on today. (Yea!!) We had to work through the installation of a sub-panel, as well as a whole house fan and an EV charger. Each of these raised aesthetic and performance issues which Blalock could not have handled any better.Our preference was to upgrade our existing electrical panel but SDG&E was going to require us to trench to the handle at the curb to install a new panel, thousands of dollars we did not have. The sub-panel was the perfect solution, and Blalock was consistently willing to answer questions and direct us to the best way to do the sub-panel. (Can we put the pool on the sub-panel? Sure, but its not necessary.)Blalock started with two visual inspections of our property, and then a third to determine the best, most efficient way to run the EV charger from the panel to the garage. Blalocks workers were on time, courteous, and helpful. Leonard the roofer was awesome, super cool cat who did really nice work. Blalock ran the EV charger under the eaves and then painted the silver casing to minimize any cosmetic issues. They asked where we wanted the whole house fan in the attic -- we deferred to their judgment. They instructed us how to use the whole house fan and warned us multiple times to make sure there are windows open when it is running so we do not burn out the motor.Sara Gomez, Blalocks office manager, has guided and directed us through the process, and even answered an email question on a Sunday (!) even though it was not urgent. Post-install we had one small hiccup that Blalock quickly came out and corrected. I would describe Blalocks work as very precise -- they did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, they were very tidy and clean, and they continually asked us what we wanted and worked with us to accomplish it. Cant ask for more than that.

Comment: I would highly recommend Blalock Electric & Solar, who was the installation company associated with Efficient Solar Services. Victors Crew installed my 8 solar panels in about 4 to 5 hours, but they were professional and thorough. They arrived on time and completed the installation in about 1230 after completely checking their work to ensure safety and quality. The next day, a different representative came from the company to reinspect the work, and he made sure everything was ready for the citys inspection later in the afternoon. After over a month of having my solar system in place, I am very happy with results.

Comment: Look no further these guys are amazing. From Sara the office manager to Colt with the design and plans to Mike and his team of installers. These guys are super responsive and do an incredible job. The install was only half a day including painting the conduit to match the stucco and roof. I think they really take pride in what they do and want to have happy customers. If you have a question or a concern it quickly gets addressed to your satisfaction. Their customer service is excellent. The day after the install, Blalock had the inspection programmed and Richard from Blalock was here to assist the inspector with any questions. After an hour or so, the inspector signed off on the install and we had an operating system within a week. I am very happy I selected Blalock for this project because it felt more like a partnership, they want me to be happy, rather than a pure commercial transaction. Thank you Blalock Team!

No headaches, back and forth, delays or excuses. They show up and they deliver results every time. They are careful & precise with their work. The guys on the crew are upbeat and positive, a nice group. Overall customer satisfaction, from what I’ve experienced and what I’ve heard, is that they are here to stay for the long haul because the truly care about their customers. In a world of money hungry businesses, it’s nice to do business with a family-owned business with true integrity. It also helps that the owner is hands on in operations every day.
