Comment: Sadly, I had to replace my roof on my house. It has been leaking for the past two years. I filed an insurance claim and Renaissance-General Restoration Contracting, Inc was assigned the claim. After their initial inspection they informed me I should replace my roof. I asked if they would replace my roof and they said no. They told me they exclusively contract with APEX Valley Roofing, Inc.My roof was a tile roof and 30+ years old. While appearances show the roof looked great, when you look deeper in spots it is not in good shape. I recently installed solar recently (great work and love it) and my Air Conditioners are on the roof. Why do I say all this? There are too many reasons for technicians to walk on my roof and potentially break tiles--which has happend (or create weak points for tiles to slip). So, I decided to replace my roof with Shingles instead of tile.I called APEX Valley Roofing and right away I received GREAT service. They answered all my questions, came out and performed their own inspection, provided Shingle samples for me to choose from, and provided me with a reasonable price to replace my roof--I did get another quote from a different vendor and APEX was the most reasonable. That said, the recommendation by Renaissance played a big part in my decision making process.Ricardo Garcia was the person I worked with the most. My first impression of him was that he was genuine, kind, fair, and committed to deliver on his promise of quality at a reasonable price. Throughout the project he did not disappoint. I must point out (prior to meeting him) I did NOT have a lot of great things to say about contractors that perform home repair and improvements--I have plenty of experience working with individuals that are dishonest, deliver poor work, and constantly delay and delay to the point where a two week project takes two months. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN WITH Ricardo Garcia and APEX. With this project, Ricardo took care of everything from obtaining Permits to coordinating with my Solar Panel Company to remove the Solar panels before he could remove the existing tile roof and install Shingles. Between the removal of Solar Panels and Roof replacement, the time it took was less than 10 days, more closer to 7 days, to obtain a beautiful looking roof. The process was well managed in the sense that the site was kept clean, minimal disturbance to my neighbors, and well planned, communicated, and executed. I couldnt be happier.At the end, I can genuinely say that I have made a friend. Ricardo Garcia is a truly kind, honest, and a personable guy who places his customers needs first while at the same time working hard to make an honest living.THANK YOU Ricardo Garcia, APEX Roofing, and Staff.

Comment: During heavy rains last winter, we discovered a leak in our family room. I had to contact 8 roofing contractors. 5 were too busy to even show up for an estimate. Of the 3 that did show up 1 never completed the estimate and one took 3 weeks to get us the estimate. Apex responded within a couple days. We received the estimate within a couple days after that. When I called to schedule, they explained the process and as promised when the time came, they called me on a Friday to let me know they would be here between 7:00 & 8:00 Monday. The crew showed up on time. They were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They finished the work that day and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them.

Comment: We had seams around the fireplace chimney & roof jacks (vents) resealed & some shingles around the AC that had been damaged replaced.We did have a wait period to be scheduled.The crew that came out worked very hard, & also took care of some shingles that had absorbed some moisture.We were very satisfied with the work they did !Robert

Comment: Great experience top to bottom, quite literally. Apex was very responsive, answered all of my questions ahead of time, and did what we thought was pretty amazing: stripped old roof to decking, installed new underlayment and all new shingles, dormer vents, ridge vents, valleys, drip edge, fascia boards and gutters. They also repainted all the various vent pipes to match. All in one week. In the Summer. That takes a great team and leadership! (and some serious skill)Every day they would clean up and run a magnet around for nails. Never skipped a day. They really listened when I told them, “We have the dogs out here so we need to be extra vigilant about nails.” Roofing is messy business on the ground and I felt they did an excellent job of rounding all the debris up.The roof has survived our recent local storms 100%, apparently there’s not a single fault in the install. Impressive! And my attic (and especially the garage) dropped max temps significantly in the hot months thanks to the added ventilation and the new more reflective shingles.I also found the ordering and shingle selection process to be simple and easy. Everything was done by email and they always picked up the phone if I called. Thank you Ricky, Ray, the crew, and everyone else who helped ensure this major project went smoothly and properly! Comment: I have a commercial building with a new tenant moving in and during TI period they noticed that the flat roof felt “soft” so I contacted three companies that will work on commercial flat roof but only Apex Valley Roofing get back to me within two days after they inspected the roof the other two I have to wait for “their project manager” to get back to me. I decided to go with Apex because they told me they will have it done in 2wks once they opened the roof up and that when my nightmare started because they discovered I have a major water damage to the plywood and when they removed the plywood my hair turning gray so fast total 22 trusses was damage beyond repair. Got structural engineer and GC involved. 2wks project turned to 4 months!! Ricky was very helpful and went beyond my expectation. The office ladies Veronica and Nicole super friendly and professional. They understand the situation and help me anyway they can. I am truly grateful for this company and I swear by them the BEST roofing company in the valley! If they can handle my project I am sure they can handle any projects out there!! THANK YOU FOR A GREAT JOB !!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment: We have a manufactured home in the mountains and needed our old roof replaced, also with a large skylight that needed replaced so we were worried about the cost, even the permit takes more effort. The owner Ricky gave us an excellent bid and handled it all. Just talking to him we could tell he was very experienced and actually cared about us. His crew showed up and were friendly, hardworking and really clean. The ladies in the office were the same; friendly and caring. They went above and beyond what we even expected! All with a great sense of humor! Really nice! Would be happy to recommend them anytime. Cant say enough!

Comment: I got several estimates from various roofing companies to fix leaks in my tile roof and clean the valley gutters and replace the broken tiles. The representative who came to my home, Ricky Garcia, was the only rep from any of the roofing companies that actually found the problem that I was having with my roof, and he found it immediately! Additionally, the estimate I received from Apex was the most reasonable of any of the companies. The guys who came to actually do the work were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Apex doesnt accept credit card which is a bummer, but Im sure that contributes to their ability to save on costs of repairs. I felt that everything about my experience with Apex was great. We havent had any major rain since the work was done, so Ill find out if everything is good, but Ill be sure to update my review if I experience any problems over time.
