Comment: Dmitriy of American Building Development came to my home and gave me an estimate for work I needed to be done on my home. He was very professional and the estimate was very reasonable. In a few weeks the ABD crew came to my home to begin work. I needed some dry rot wood on the front elevation replaced and painted. I also had water damaged trim on my chimney replaced and painted. And, while they were already on the roof, they went around and fixed numerous cracked tiles that needed attention. They also caulked around all of my windows. Their work was excellent! They not only performed the work I contracted for, but went out of their way to do some additional work at no extra charge! AMD is not your ordinary contracting company, they are very much a step above. They were very conscientious and competent in all of the work they performed on my home. I will definitely have them back to work on my home again! They are a 5 star company!

Comment: I’d been looking for someone to make some dry rot repairs on my house, and after a company recommended by my neighbor didn’t return my call, I googled ‘Sacramento dry rot repair’ and found American Building Development. I filled out the contact form on their website, and was surprised that someone called within the hour to schedule an inspection. Wow! The inspector, Dan, came the next morning, and told me he’d have a proposal ready for me by the end of the day - and he did! The guy who came out to do the work - Sean - did an outstanding job. Great communication, reasonable price, and excellent work, all in all a very positive experience. I would recommend ABD very highly.

They identified the most important areas of need while carefully considering cost. They also identified other major dry rot areas that were overlooked by previous inspectors. The workers even did a bunch of extra spots, fills, and fixes without even charging us. Unlike almost every contractor we contacted, ABD responded quickly. ABD’s estimate was a few thousand dollars less than our first estimate. They were on time on a Monday morning and all workers were ready to work. A 3 day job was completed in 1 day as they were able to put 2 teams on the job. When additional damage was found, we thought we could do the work ourselves. The workers assisted us with removing panels at no charge. Everything was cleaned up. We were very impressed. Comment: I had big job to do. Post beetle infestation. Time sensitive. Entire subfloor had to be torn out and rebuilt including main girders, wall plate, rim joists, and floor joists. Then flooring put on and cabinets reinstalled. Drywall repair, base boards, and painting. Dimitriy and American Building did a great job. Professional, precise work. Excellent communication. Timely. Comment: American Building Development does fantastic work! I had my entire kitchen revamped, a big job, that included moving water, electric and gas lines. They came by to take measurements to provide an estimate which included diagrams showing the new layout of the kitchen. These diagrams are very helpful and were given without having to provide a down payment to start the project, which isn’t the case with all contractors. I appreciate their honesty in providing and recommending the best route for what I was trying to accomplish, along with their remarkable customer service and communication throughout the process. The entire crew are craftsmen! Construction is laborious work, and the entire crew took pride in their project role and for my house in which they were working on. Their attention to detail and desire to do things the right way and with quality was very much appreciated. I love my kitchen! It was a good experience, and I would recommend and use American Building Development again.
