Comment: I contacted four roofers to give me an estimate for some minor roof repairs. APR was the only contractor to respond. Alex came out personally to investigate and found more problems than what I anticipated. He showed me via pictures what needed to be done. Major maintenance surely needed to address issues that have built up over 20 years but no significant repairs. His crew came out the next work day, on time, and plowed thru the work and got it done in a few hours. My wife noticed after they left that there was still some moss on the north side and I contacted Alex. He arranged to send somebody out, and they took care of it, no questions asked.Alex.amd his cre are very professional.amd hard working. Would recommend them!

Comment: When we purchased our home two years ago, the roof had not been maintained which eventually resulted in a couple leaks as well as significant amount of moss on the concrete tiles. We knew a flat addon and all the valleys at the very least had to be either replaced, or the very least have major maintenance completed. After going through many bids we fortunately found Alex whom was very professional, respectful and fair on pricing. He worked with us to ensure we knew everything that would be done, how it would be done and with what materials. When they found additional damage we had been unaware of, he gave us options and made us feel confident our roof was in good shape by the time his team completed. Fast forward 6 months, weve just had our first bit of rain and everything is holding up well. We had one concern that Alex came out to check out personally and made sure all was well.Ive worked with many contractors as a house owner and Alexs attention to detail is very impressive. Even his demeanor is top notch, which I know is tough as he is constantly dealing wit customers like me whom prefer to know more about whats going on. With all that said, I highly recommend Alex Perezs roofing and would gladly be a reference!

Comment: Alex was available by phone when I reached out to him for repairs (no leaving a message and waiting for a call back). He had one of his guys write up an estimate the next day, and the very day after that the repairs were all done. I think the value for the work that they did was excellent. Alex is very easy to work with, and he took time to give me all the options and answer any questions.His team showed up right on time, worked quickly, and they did a great job. They cleaned up very well when they finished. I would highly recommend his company for anyone looking for repairs or just cleaning and upkeep on their roof. Money well spent!

Comment: We are absolutely impressed with the level of professionalism and quality of work Alex Perez Roofing has offered us. Mr. Perez is very easy to talk to and communicate with. He answers every call and email in a timely manner. Communication was never lost and we never felt left in the dark on his plans for our roof. His workers are thorough, considerate of our property, plants/foliage, they tidied up (like cleaned up to the extreme!) at the end of every work day...Also, safety was practiced daily. Anytime we had to enter or exit our home they would pause briefly to allow us to pass by safely. I feel like they all went above and beyond our expectations. We had a complete reroof including ridge vents, new gutters, fascia, and they even replaced some siding in some areas that had to do with the roof installation. We also have three skylights which were carefully worked around and reset as needed to complete the installation. This is our first time hiring them. They came highly recommend by our neighbors. This is the only roofing company we will ever promote!! Love them!!

Comment: I had some dry rot in a valley on my roof and call Alex Perez for an estimate. When he came put he as professional and courteous but very knowledgeable and looked at the whole roof not just the area that was pointed out. He called me with a reasonable price and time. Luckily he was able to call and inform me that he could do it sooner than expected. His crew came on on time and and did a fabulous job all were professional. They were able to complete the job quickly and efficiently. I will be recommending Alex to anyone that needs roof work done. Comment: Alex, Scott, and their crew were outstanding! They repaired a couple of hogg valleys, one of which had a leak, installed new underlayment and plywood that had been compromised around the chimney, and some screens for the undershots to prevent birds from roosting, as well as a few other minor repairs (e.g., loose/cracked concrete tiles). The test of course will be whenever it rains next, but Im giving 5 stars for now because it looks like quality work at a very competitive price. More importantly I thought they provided honest recommendations which I appreciated very much, I got the sense that other companies try to do unnecessary work. Thank you APR!!

After reading all the great reviews and meeting Alex in person, and receiving a reasonable quote, we decided to work with him for our new roof. Comment: Cant say enough about Alex and his crew...they were efficient, timely, professional and completed the project in one day! As we were getting our solar panels installed, the company found severe damage on one side of our roof. Our project had to be placed on hold until the repair was completed. I called Alex on Tuesday and he had his crew at our house on Thursday morning to fix the damage. They did a fantastic job at a fraction of the cost of what other roofers had quoted. Thanks Alex!

Comment: I emailed Alex today because I needed an estimate on a roof leak I have in my 30-year-old roof. He responded within five minutes and was at my house within the hour! He found the leak right away. Even though he told me I need a new roof, he repaired the leak in such a way that I could continue with the remodeling/recarpeting work that I’m in the middle of. Yes, he did charge me for his work, but if I have him do the full roof replacement, it will be subtracted from the cost. Update may follow.

Comment: I am very pleased with the new roof Alex and his crew installed last week on my house in South Land Park Hills. I received five quotes (more but only five showed up) and I chose Alex Perez Roofing because he was reliable, had great references, is a family business, has been roofing for many years, and his quote was very reasonable.Alex consistently followed up with me and when they began the work he provided excellent customer service, timely responses to phone calls/texts, and installed my new roof in 4-days which included gutter guards and repairing some holes where I had the wind turbines removed. He installed the ridge vent as I requested and the roof passed the permit process. He even sent me pics of the new roof since I live in San Diego.

While we were gone Alex removed and replaced the 21 foot gutter and downspout. He did a fantastic job and would recommend him to family and friends.
