Comment: Im so pleased with my new roof. They made so easy for me. I got my estimate from them in a few minutes remotely over the phone. They were able to get the measurements through the satellite. So much time saving and price wise it was a lot lower too and without the need of the usual long appointments I used to get from other companies.1 highly recommend them. Comment: Last year during raining season, I had multiple water leaks, from the front of the house Living Room to the back of the house my restroom and my bedroom, the water leak was extensive and the situation was very bad to the point where I had to put buckets and deep pots to collect all the water coming through during the rainy days. I had called my insurance company Farmers Insurance, but they were not able to help, they stated my roof had too many types of materials and that my roof had been worked on multiple times. So they declined my claim. Of course I was very upset, angry and frustrated. Are you kidding me I been paying the same Home Insurance for 28 years and when I finally needed them they were not able to help me. Like really who as and owner climbs up their roof and notices or more like recognizes that the roof was worked multiple times. I been living there almost three decades and never had a leak and all I saw whenever a vendor (cable company technician) who go up there, was a good working roof. I told myself I would make sure I address my water leak problem before winter hit again. So I started looking around getting estimates from various companies. Im happy I came across this construction company Ad Astra Builders, and got estimate and they were able to work with me and financed my project. We worked out the details with David Navon, he is the representative from Ad Astra Builders. Cool guy, respectful, very professional. We worked out details and I hired them for my roof project. This was at beginning of week Monday, by end of week Thursday they started working. They finished on on the weekend right on time as it started to rain Saturday evening. Talk about good timing. David came by almost everyday during new roof installation / replacement. Always answered my calls, he definitely followed through and the outcome of new roof is great, No leaks. They did great work, fast efficient and reliable. We been in communication since and now I have hired them on to replace all my windows including my custom windows. I know this year with new roof and windows my home should be warmer for the upcoming winter which is around the corner. Not to mention my utility bills will definitely go down so yes. Im loving my decision in working with Ad Astra Builders. I am a satisfied customer. I want to say Thank you David Nova, you are on it , you definitely have good personality and good people skills, you are an asset to Ad Astra Builders. Im really glad I came across you guys. Comment: Honestly had a very good experience working with Ad Astra. I am an architect and know a few things about roofing. I am very satisfied with how this job turned out.They gave us a quote to do the work and were very competitive. I was only talking to high-end roofers that had a good reputation, and I was looking for an outfit that understood the special problems that come with a 100 year old home. They were upfront about what was included in the contract pricing and what wasnt (there was the potential for dry rot repair in at least one area of our home).Everyone I dealt with in this process was very helpful. That includes the office staff, the owner (who also did a bit of work), the manager who quoted the job and came out for inspections (and also did a bit of work), the carpenters who were needed to repair our porch, the roofers, and the gutter guy.They guarantee their work for five years, but I expect this roof to last a long time.____________________________Now, let me make a few general comments about the roofing experience. It is hard to get contractors to come out to your home during the winter, because they are overwhelmed with emergencies. I was told by some that they couldnt come out to quote the job for months. Just be prepared and dont wait to the last minute.Once you do have a contract, you will be put in a queue. We signed a contract in December and the work happened in April. Advanced offered to put temporary tarps up if necessary for our leaks in the interim.Schedules change- they actually came the week before the date we had agreed to, probably because of a cancellation. They called me that morning and were on site in an hour. Because roofers are behind and always dealing with the current weather, they need to jump in when they can. You need to be flexible.I was very concerned about the mess of ripping the roof off of the house. They tried to be neat and did a great job, I think, but that doesnt mean there wasnt stuff on the ground. It is inevitable. And for the reviewer who was mad about the junk in her attic, I know that roofers dont to that automatically. If you have to take the roof down to the joists and start with new plywood, your attic is going to be a disaster, and you will need to discuss your options with the roofer in advance.Hope that will help all of you out there. Comment: We had our roof done with the hopes of being done with our leaking issues in our sun roof. The entire house was well overdue. Was not looking forward to sitting with contractors, listening to different pitches and so forth. Meeting David was right off the bat, pleasant and i really felt at ease. He provided me with all the information i needed without overwhelming me. Answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. Was transparent and i just wanted to start the work immediately and after seeing the quoted price, thats exactly what we did. The crew showed up and started work right away. They were friendly and werent the least bothered by us poking around observing. The were fast, which was impressive considering how nice things looked in stages. Comment: I had an excelent experience with this company. I was asking for a quote for roof replacement for our newly bought house to several contractors, everybody turned me down and requires me to move in to the house before they can give me quote. All I wanted is to have a new roof before moving in since it was November at that time and rain was frequent. Only AD Astra Builders gave me a quote and agreed to my request. What was surprising was, their quote was way below the competitors after the fact. David was very kind enough to assist me. I was satisfied with their service so I even contracted them to install my Solar power system and new HVAC with new airducts and vents. I highly recommend this company since they are hands on to their project. They update you from time to time on the progress of the project and most of all, you can easily call them. Even after the project, they keep in touch to verify your satisfaction. I give them 5 stars.
